the problem with having a decade old tumblr blog is that there are posts on it from a decade ago

#yup! #i feel good seeing old posts but confused that they were found #some of them i have literally no memory of #some i read and remember the person that wrote them that used to go by my name #most of the time i laugh softly to myself at the journey they are about to go on #sometimes I'm impressed and others I take psychic damage #I think the best are the occasional posts/notes/journals that answer a question I have now or teach me something I've forgotten #I've written stuff as characters other than myself and for other people that hit in unexpected ways #not a single cell of your skin is more than a few weeks old so the finger pads that typed those things are no longer me #muscles are longer lived (15 years) but not one of my muscle cells is old enough to have gone running (college) #i have bone cells old enough to remember running (25 yrs) but even they weren't there for gradeschool games #I'm quite literally not the same person I was... just as you aren't who you were #and isn't it just the coolest thing? #the skin that was there for a trauma or a breakup or even the little things that make you want to scrub is gone #it's an important perspective to have for any survivor of abuse #tumblr #biology #philosophy #growth

can't speak for anon but if you can gargle water, do the same breathing thing at the back of your throat, and practice until you can do it with your teeth together. Once you can do that you can adjust your pitch until it's about the same as a large housecat.

I had a friend who could make the sound come out of her upper chest but I've never managed that

Spider-Man: I do wanna be clear that this isn’t a threat, okay? I’m still not interested in crossing the line, which brings me to my point.

Spider-Man: /That/ was restrained because I could focus enough to have full control. If I’m extremely tired or otherwise distracted, there’s just as much risk of me slipping up as someone operating heavy machinery. I’m probably not going to remember what sleep is for two whole months, so remember!
