Finale!!

A shiver crept down Percy's spine as he trudged through the depths of the Underworld. Ever since he made his deal with Hades, an indescribable fear had taken a hold of him. What if Hades was just having a laugh? What if Annabeth wasn't following him? A bone crunched under his foot and he flinched. This gripping paranoia was playing tricks on his mind, and if he gave in and turned around, Annabeth would be lost forever.

After an undeterminable amount of time, he finally arrived at the steps of the Underworld. This is it, he thought. All I have to do is walk up these stairs and take three steps into the sunlight. No biggie.

As he climbed up the crumbling, blackened staircase, he froze. He could feel someone breathing down his neck. Doubt and apprehensiveness flooded his mind, sweeping his rationality away like a raging riptide, intent on dragging him to the seafloor. What if Hades had replaced her with a ghoul? What if she was a hollow shell of a person? Percy wanted nothing more than to sit down on the stairs and weep.

No, he thought. I defeated a Titan. I have saved the world. I am a son of Poseidon. and these currents do not rule me.

He thought of Annabeth. The twinkle in her eye. Her bright smile. The grey streak in her that matched his. They had held up the sky together. They had saved the world together. And by the gods, they would be together.

"Seaweed Brain..."

A whisper of promise danced on the wind, igniting something within Percy. He got to his feet and marched up the steps, ignoring the phobia within him that he would never see Annabeth again. As he reached the sunlight, he hesitated. He so desperately wanted to look back, to confirm she was there, to confirm she was safe. He knew that if he went into the sunlight and Hades hadn't returned her, he would not be able to try again.

But Percy also knew that if he looked back now, all hope would vanish like figments of a dream. So he took a step. And another. Turn back!! The voice in his head screamed. Make sure she's there!!

He took the final step.

But he didn't turn around. He stood there, breathing in deeply, anticipation building up in his body.

It was finally released when he heard those long-awaited words.

"Hey, Seaweed Brain!"

It was during last month that he started dating Rachel Elizabeth Dare along with the discovery of a new demi-god, Carlos Martinez, who annoyed Percy enough to start the argument. That day was the last day that you cried for him, the sobs heard by Annabeth and Hudson who were spending time with each other in Cabin 4, Demeter. You shed tears because another girl stole him away from you and because you could feel your adoration slowly slip away from him.

He didn't like that.

" Hey Jackson! Have you seen my girlfriend, [Name]?"

Percy frowned, Riptide twisting through his long, pale, fingers. His curly, blonde, hair fell against his forehead as he stared at his ballpoint pen.

" No, I haven't seen my gi-[L/N], if you're here to brag about how much she ‘loves’ you, don't bother. I’ve heard it from her cousin and Annabeth enough because they hate me for letting you crawl into her life. ." He snarled, his anger as evident as his love for you was to his close friends.

Grover stared at the Son of Poseidon while sitting with his girlfriend, Juniper. Sometimes he wondered if you knew how Percy loses his mind while thinking of you, but Grover knows you deserve better than his best friend.

And you were glad because of it.

"But I can't change that, and I can't change your mood."

When Percy found out you were his sibling, he was ecstatic but also felt bad for you. After all the pain and anger the few children of the Big Three went through, he hated that his newly-found sibling would have to go through it too.

He introduced you to Tyson, who, though he was jealous in the beginning, loves you just as much as he loves Percy. It took him like a day for him to warm up to you but you were the first person to love him like Percy did.

Percy loves you and protected you from all he can. Every year after summer in Camp Half-Blood Percy drove you to Sally's ever since she adopted you because your mother died. She loves you like you're her own daughter. This was to keep you near him so he could keep you safe from monsters.

He loves you like you're his full-blooded sibling, and nothing could ever stop the two of you from being the most Poseidon-like demigods ever to be seen.

The feeling of rain splashing onto the flowers you crafted brought peace to your mind. 

They were crafted onto your skin though, tempted by the insecurity of your beauty and bravery. It reminded you of Annabeth’s vision when Percy went missing.

While she threatened them and fought against the Winds past the cliff you had heard Piper ask your cousin why you were frustrated and who they'd come looking for. 

“ We're looking for [Name’s] boyfriend, Percy Jackson.” Hudson is a great person and he knew about the fact that you and your curly, blonde, haired crush were talking before he went missing, but you refused to admit you wanted him to be yours…

“ He’s NOT my boyfriend.” You screamed while pacing back to the chariot, refraining from tearing up with the anger that he left you with.

“ Percy, what are you getting mad at me for?” Percy snapped, punching the wall near Poseidon's statue. “ You know he likes you! Stop talking to him if you love me!” You rolled your eyes, “ I thought you said that this relationship is nothing but a fling when we were fucking and I said ‘I love you’...” He stiffened, his hand grazing your hair as he mumbled something you still haven’t figured out.

You shook out of your memories as slow footsteps caught you off guard. “ Who’s there?”

“ It’s me, flower. Why are you standing out in the rain?”

" No reason" You quietly snarled before you noticed a small page sitting in his pale hands. " What's that?" Percy frowned as he twisted Riptide in between his fingers.
