Regina woke up more rested, but alone. Well almost alone. She blew some hair out of her face and sat up. Ginger lay at her feet just out of reach.

“Well, at least you didn’t leave me.” She was rewarded with strong purring when she finally reached her kitten. She was about to lay back down for a bit when Snow opened the door, hand covering her face.

“Regina? Are you awake?”

Regina’s eyes instantly widened in shock and she cocked her head to the side. “Well, if I wasn’t I am now.”

Snow nodded then peaked through her hands. “Oh good, you’re decent. That would have been a fun story.”

Regina inclined her head in agreement, still a bit stunned when Snow sat next to her on the bed. “So, James and I would like to take you out for coffee.”
