Started playing Thousand Year Old Vampire by Tim Hutchings.

I don’t have any friends that play ttrpg games like dnd, but I’ve been dying to play something, so I found this since it’s marketed as a solo ttrpg experience.

I am obsessed. 100% see this being replayed a lot once my first vampire has gone through her story.

Made this little piece based on some of the stuff she’s going through.

Info on the story/what inspired the illustration:

Her childhood friend, upon realizing she’s not quite her anymore, promises to stand by her side despite her transformation and gives her his scarf to cover the bite mark. However, after accidentally killing one of her siblings to prevent exposure, my character disassociates for a century and everyone she knows is dead when she finally comes out of it.

I just recently got the prompt about finding an artifact that if you keep it by game end, you can use it to rewrite the ending how you like, and I have a feeling if I get to that I may write something about them. Additional context to the illustration: made the artifact an old walking stick with strange letters carved into it (made the writing a combination of Hyrulian and Greenrune) He made her the necklace for her birthday (one of her starting resources).

I immediately thought of this book I picked up a few years ago called the Wonderling.

I didn’t go into it expecting much, but the story was interesting and it has neat illustrations throughout it too.

I’m haven’t read it in a bit, so I’ll just post the description below

Showing my age but I still stand by when I’ve talked about being interested in seeing ranboo play some 2010s games.

I think they’d find The Magic Circle or The Vanishing of Ethan Carter interesting. I can’t remember how long either game lasted, but they had interested stories

Any of you remember the bit in origins where Slimecicle was asking people, Tommy I think, to take of their armor so he could go for the ankles and making gremlin noises?

Apply that energy to Gegg. I can just see that fucking egg running around QSMP going after peoples legs and terrorizing them. If I find the time I may try to draw or animate it.

Generation Loss is such a genuinely cool project oh my god. Ranboo and his team and friends did an amazing job with these three episodes. After every one I was even more excited to see what they do next.
