Hey y’all, I’d like to make a point that when you post how many calories you’ve eaten and let’s say it’s 1000 and you talk about how you are disgusting and that’s so much more than you normally eat, please do not include the number. When you say things like that you are triggering your followers who may be eating that much and feel good about themselves but once you say that number and say those things about that number you influence how they feel about that number and then they will go lower because you made them feel disgusting. It is okay to vent this is meant to be your safe place, but as soon as numbers are involved you are hurting others no matter how many times you say this is just for me and don’t follow my bad habits.
I hope you guys are feeling okay today, and that quarantine is going well for you. Remember to eat a snack and stay safe! You need the extra vitamins in this time of disease.

Hey it’s me again, I’m sorry for not posting any encouragement for a while. Corona has gotten me a bit down and struggling right now, so getting on and writing these have been difficult. I feel better during the day, but at night I just start feeling so guilty and disgusting. Corona has been super hard on my recovery, especially with all of the extra time to count things.
Anyways, I know corona has a lot of us struggling to feel great about ourselves since we’ve lost the ability to have distractions through school, work, people, and little movement, but we all must remember that our bodies need nourishment, and don’t let yourself get super bad during these rough times. Work and remember that you still deserve food without excercise. You deserve food when you’ve already snacked. You also deserve snacks, and it is okay to eat even if you aren’t super hungry. Also I am so sorry, and my feelings go out for all of you with bad home lives, and are struggling with this and bad homes. You will get through this, and I believe in you. Keep up the great work, and remember to work on loving yourselves. 💕💕🥰
Also I’d like to recommend maryscupofteaa on Instagram again lol, because she is just so positive and has struggled with eds too. She is awesome and helps me get through my day :)

Thinking you could have an eating disorder or mental illness is not a sin.
If you think there is any chance you might have one get looked at by a psychiatrist to diagnose you, but if you cannot do that for some reason take those online tests. Of course it isn’t a formal diagnosis, but if an internet test thinks there may be something wrong you should really find the money or time to check with a doctor.

I don’t agree with how the ending of this is put, but the pro recovery tag is true. I have personally been on there trying to feel better about myself and was instead met with more proana posts and thinspo. If you are one of the people tagging your proana and thinspo posts with prorecovery you disgust me, and I hope you learn one day how much harm you are doing to people.
Not proana or thinspo I’m just putting it in the tags also this post may be triggering if you have an eating disorder so read at your own risk, but please do read this if you are proana, promia, or pro thinspo and try to hear me out. Also sorry for the bad grammar.
I was looking in tags for ED recovery because I think I may have an eating disorder, it’s probably not anorexia or anything like that, I’m actually quite happy with my weight/looks I just have trouble eating and often randomly get nauseous. And on top of all that my depression and ADHD make it really hard to find the will to feed myself or take care of myself at all. I want to recover and try and feed myself consistently and eat enough. I searched #ana recovery and even tho I don’t usually feel bad about my weight i felt horrible about myself, it was almost ENTIRELY toxic thinspo posts and degrading things and I can’t fucking believe how selfish and destructive some people are. The people looking in the RECOVERY tags are trying to RECOVER and you just post triggering shit?!??!? THAT IS DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE. I knew the proana “community” was destructive but the way they talk about people is straight up disgusting and degrading. Anyone with an eating disorder who is reading this I want to let you know that you are perfectly fine the way you are and if you aren’t what most people consider “attractive” I guarantee that there are people out there that think you are absolutely perfect. You deserve to eat, and be happy with how your body naturally is.

Just a reminder eating disorders are a competitive disorder as I’m sure all of you can tell through yourselves, so please for the love of everything do not post your body checks, what you’ve eaten in a day, or your plan for the year. Your need for validation should not overpower your realization that these things hurt other people so much. They will make their eating habits match yours to feel better. You are able to write these things down in a journal there is no need to post those kinds of things. I understand not wanting to feel alone, you can always just complain about things going on or talk about how people are not alone in this. Offer support not tips on how to get worse. Have a great day all of you!

Your clothes are falling off of you, you're missing your periods. You CAN'T keep doing this forever. Your hair is falling out, your fertility is fucking up, and for what? Numbers on the scale dropping?? If weight is needed to be lost. Do it safely.
You reach your goal. Now what? Are you REALLY happy? You KNOW deep down you need to get help. Then get it. Or maybe, you're strong enough to help yourself recover. Be strong enough.

if you are feeling guilty after holiday dinners:
• don’t beat yourself up over it. there is always tomorrow.
• you ate because you WANTED to. you ate because you DESERVE it. when you are older and looking back at your youth, do you want to remember the difficulty it took to obstain from food, or the laughs spent with family around the dinner table?
• remember that every bite taken is a step towards the right direction, whether you wanted to eat or not.
• you deserve a break from your own mind. you deserve to forget about your disorder for the 15 mins it took to eat your dinner.
• stop for a second and remember the food you ate. think about the hands that prepared it, the love that went into the recipe, the beautiful way it was presented. food is not a number or calories to log into an app. remember that

I hope all of you had an amazing holiday! I hope you all enjoyed your family and friends even with food present. You all deserved to eat and have an amazing time with your family, so please do not punish yourself for the food you may have eaten. You deserved that one day of freedom. That one meal will not cause you to gain any weight or become unhealthy in any sort. I’d rather not say go back to your normal habits but it’s better than any detox starvation crap you might be thinking of doing. You deserved the fun. Have a great day be safe!

Christmas Time
I’m so sorry to all of you who have bad families who belittle you or do anything cruel. I know this post won’t be too helpful for those of you who do deal with that kind of situation, but I’d like to remind everyone on this app/tag to please enjoy your Christmas whether it’s a dinner of a fmaily get together at a later day please enjoy it. You all deserve it. Everyone has struggled throughout the year and this one meal of that slice of cake will not hurt you or cause weight gain! Please enjoy your holidays as you only have so many of them especially to the minors who still live with their parents. You won’t always get to wake up on Christmas morning with your parents and siblings(if you have them), so please enjoy this one day. You’ll regret it later. You deserve to have that bite of mashed potatoes or the slice of cake that only your grandmother can make so good. Your family will be gone one day, so please enjoy your time with them now at least just for the day. You deserve it. You’ve worked hard all year whether it’s school or work or getting better or making friends or just anything. You deserve your holdiday season.
