Sometimes I can feel my entire existence get torn apart, then stapled back together again and I can almost, almost see the edge of the universe.

I can't think for my mind is already full of thoughts, and yet I can't grasp any of them for they are all out of reach.

I want someone to take this soul
I can't bear to keep it
I'd give it just to give
And all I will take are the consequences
Will somebody take this soul?

Your Little Paws
Little paws pitter-patter, Loud on hardwood floors. Softly pushing a door open, Seeking a lap to keep warm.
Always eyeing clumsy footing, Careful of little paws. Pointed ears demanding, Loving hands to hoist them high.
Leaving a room, I stumbled. I thought you were there. Reflexes not readily forgotten, A moment of delightful oblivion, Followed by a grim reminder, That you are not here.
Within the consuming darkness, I see pale blue light. Pointed ears illuminated, In the glowing moonlight. Pitter-patters echoed, with nothing to take their form. You still demanded a lap, To help keep you warm.
