A Bright Anxiety - Vector Art

Inspired by Cultist Simulator

Every day now, my fear grows stronger. An urgent, physical need, like a gnawing hunger. It's a Light that is found in the eyes, but it is very subtle. Most can only see it in the darkness. I grow thinner, as the Light shines brighter. I feel like my skin hangs loose in my body. I am always hungry. I feel my bones begin to soften. The Light leaks out whenever my skin is bruised or frayed. In the end, little of this flesh will remain. I will pass through Gates. The anxiety is too much for the soul to hold. I must be more than this. More than myself. More than this Light.

Hello everyone. My name is Felipe, I’m an aspiring artist from Brazil and a college student. Recently the game Cultist Simulator fell into my life and I’ve been absorbed by it. It’s an amazing lovecraftian card game about building a cult and surviving all the troubles that comes with it. The art style it uses is so inspiring and I used what knowledge and skill I had to try and maybe give people the opportunity to look like one of the character cards from the game. On this post you can see some examples of a few clients I got. Halls of Carcosa - Color Exercise He dreamt of long, unending halls, with ceilings as high as the sky. He dreamt of twisting corridors, maze-like pathways into unknown chambers. He dreamt of bottomless pits, where the screams of long lost subjects pleaded to serve once again. The Eye-of-All sends him these visages, guiding him into his enlightenment. But the King in Yellow had seen enough. At the end of the Halls of Carcosa, he found his throne, a symbol of his old rule, torn into pieces. What once was could not be. The Ravens of the World whispered to him the Winds of Change. He knew what had to be done. The King in Yellow would adorn his new Crown, and he would find his ascension. His subjects, who wished to be free of his torment, would serve him once again For the word of The King in Yellow was law. His word was Reality. His word was Truth.
