I don't know about you, but IM TIRED. Me & my sis Breonna X Crank had to bring this up in our Daily Refresh today. We also hop-e to have left everyone with some light about our situation as Black people in America.
We do this because it is our CHARGE to share truth when we know it. Please watch, please share, please discuss. We are in a CRITICAL PERIOD Black people.

I love Kehlani because whenever she drops music, it’s like she knew how to say what I was thinking. We always seem to be on the same wave and going through similar relationships (mine way less dramatic & extreme). She is deadass my celebrity best friend loll. This song is definitely a fav ever since I heard it in the “All Me” video 💫🎶
[Verse 2: Jhené Aiko]
I'm not sayin' that you incomplete, but
Just imagine what we'd be if we became one
You deserve someone that'll take you to another level
Let me put you on
You've got so much potential, I really am fuckin' with you
Just open your heart
I'm tryna get you right, take you to the other side
[Chorus: Kehlani, Jhené Aiko, Both]
Baby, let me change your life
You wanna see (Everything, ooh, woah)
That you can be anything you want (Anything)
Baby, let me change your life
You wanna be (Everything, wanna be)
You wanna be anything (Anything, anything, yeah)
Baby, I can make you right (Ooh woah)
You wanna see (Everything, I see)
That you can be anything you want (Anything)
Baby, let me change your life (Let me)
You wanna be (Everything, if you wanna be)
You wanna be anything
You could be anything, everything
[Verse 3: Kehlani]
Look, wanna be a lover? I can teach you love, yeah
Wanna be a hubby? You can wife me up (Yeah)
Wanna be a chef? Go on and spice it up
Wanna be a boxer? Beat it up, don't ever need no glove

Wrote this years ago and never shared
This was the first time I did it for myself.
Rather than rhyme, I stepped out of bounds to expound upon my bounds of existence to yours. A month of no clue thinking about who this could be and why you may be so interested in me. To think that it was just a “like.” Like the time you responded and it made me tear, like when you grin and I am more stricken than I appear , like when you replied and my heart almost died, of joy. A friend, but then something different. I can't help but float when you quote the inner linings of my heart and tingle when we mingle, but burn with the fear that you won't learn what I have. Perhaps do I...like you? I do know you make me feel good and I want to do the same for you.

The worst part of holding the memories is not the pain. It’s the loneliness of it. Memories need to be shared.

Truth is, I don’t know how to open up and you hurt me when I try. So I write you off to protect myself and vulnerable me stays inside.
