by far my fav animal ever !

the human eye can only percieve light in some wave lengths, and that is because our eyes are equiped by only 3 cone cells (photoreceptors) blue, red, green. 

this little guy hay no less than 16 cones !!! it allows it to percieve light in all of wave lengths *-* it can litteraly see radio-waves and uv !! 

not to mention stuff like his saitama-tier POWER FIST!

new “cool science stuff” ! DARK MATTER *-*.

I don’t know what to write about it XD it’s so “unknown” and absolutely not dark, indeed, it doesn’t interact in anyway with light so all we can observe are it’s gravitational effect (like... on space)... and that’s all. So the thing is tht the univers is supposed to contain far mor mass than we can observe, and this “missing mass problem”, it was fully understood when Fritz Zwick realised that galaxies inside the coma cluster moved at weirdly high velocities, so he came to the conclusion that there was some stuff floating there in outer space !

Ok SO HERE We GOT SOME NICE STUFF FROM OUT THERE ! It is called η-Carinae, a star that is barely visible from earth on the Carina constellation with a mag 6.8! We can see it from here as a gigantic cloud of radiating matter, but it's more inside ! It is actually a system made of at least two stars, one is a verry impressive one, named η-Carinae A, it is a blue supergiant 100 times the size of the sun and 180 times its mass, it is also 5 million times brighter than the sun and has a temperature of about 80 000K° (that's damn hot, boi). Also, it has a little partner about 30 times the size of the sun orbitting it, it's mass being drained by tje gigantic mate, it creates a big blast of mater visible from earth . The blue supergiant will probably not last long, dying in a spectacular supernovae, making that cloud even more AWSOME *-*
