Recently read the Hopes for a Bastard series again. Okay, so fair warning for anyone who is gonna read this: this is going to be a looooong post appreciating something i‘ve seen today. It‘s my opinion, so you don‘t have to like or share it. Alright now that that‘s done

Holy shit how awesome is Hamilton!!! I mean i‘ve loved the songs before but seeing them with the PERFORMANCE was just mind blowing. And i hadn‘t even listen to every song before so it was even more captivating than it already was. I knew that king george‘s performance was going to be funny but it was still better than i imagined. Same with every single other performer! How they did that with the bullets sybolizing how they slowly fly through the air (Spoiler incoming i guess?) and the whole duel scene between Burr and Alexander was just a Masterpiece!

And don‘t even get me started on the music oh my lord that was overwhelming. And i had doubts about how much i would like the music because it of course isn‘t the same to a t as the one i hear on the recording (everyone sings it a bit different) but what was i thinking of course i loved it way more than the songs i hear on the album because i saw the facial expressions to the emotion in the voice and boy was there some emotion. I had tears in my eyes like three times and i came out of the theatre with wet eyes.

So i thank you Lin-Manuel Miranda and everyone that worked on/for this amazing Musical for creating it and should you, whoever you are that is still reading this (first of all thank you for investing time in this) ever have doubts if you should go watch Hamilton my opinion is: it‘s worth it times three. And i say that as someone whose native language isn‘t english and have the second opinion of someone who went there with me who normally doesn‘t like Musicals that much, didn‘t know almost anything about the story, never heard a song (only when i blasted them through the house) and whose native language isn‘t english.

If you are still reading and had hoped i would come to a conclusion or something other than the fact that i love Hamilton i am sorry to dissapoint.

Anyway, have a great night/day, don‘t forget to sleep/eat something if you are already long on here, maybe you need it :)
