Hello! I thought about running the fest again this year and wanted to check first if writers/artists are interested to create something for the Harry/Ron crowd.

And if you are interested, I want to know if you prefer open prompts again where everyone can create something for every single prompt or if you would prefer getting specific prompts that can be claimed and therefore, there will be only one artwork/story for each prompt? The second option is how most fests are doing it, meaning there’s a prompting phase where everyone can submit prompts and a claiming phase where creators try claim the prompt they want to write/draw for.

I’m happy with both options, so if you could take part in this little poll, you’d help me a lot.

Okay guys I got a fic idea for Draco/Ron

Basically, Ron has one of those "I hate him but I also want him to kiss me" style crushes ln Draco since like the middle of third year, but it's only at a random birthday party for some ravenclaw student or smth that, while drunk/high he accidently lets it slip in front of Draco. There's a bit of light teasing from Draco, but neither are sober and Draco is stressed from his Dad being in Azkaban and also the whole Mission (I imagine this is sixth year), so he decides "fuck it", and they spend the night making out in a "we won't talk about this tomorrow" way.

But then they start to hang out more, and are generally just... (a bit) less assholy to each other, and it's like a semi slow burn with a smoothie of weird feeling as well as not knowing how to explain to their friend and family the whole "we hated each other but are now dating" thing.

Basically, slow burn slice-of-life fluff&angst, enemies to friends that fight and makeout to lover. Also I have a "meet the parents" scene all planned in my head and it is BEAUTIFUL

Dude, you have every right to ship whoever you wan to ship and hc any character in any way. No one has to like it, and it’s fine if they don’t, it would be better if they’d just leave you alone if they don’t agree instead of arguing though.

Honestly, it’s like people forget what it means to be in a fandom. People make different connections, they share them on a post, life goes on. You saw something that made you go, oh, Ron isn’t straight!! And that’s so beautiful, it’s beautiful that so many people can look at the exact same thing and yet see so many different outcomes, it’s beautiful that some of us see gay Ron, bi Ron, straight ron, queer ron. There’s no reason to immediately go into fight mode all because someone sees something that we didn’t.

I’m sorry you’re getting hate right now for sharing something, honestly you’re better off just blocking everyone right now and taking time off tumblr to not let it get to you.
