Just don’t.
And even if you can be sure, don’t buy. Adopt.
Substitute the number of years for the actual lifespan of the parrot - 20 to 30 years is just for smaller parrots like cockatiels and lovebirds. Large parrots can live up to 80 years or more.

*** WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT - ABORTION, DEAD FETAL IMAGES, BLOOD, GORE, SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS, MEDICAL PROCEDURES, DISFIGURED PEOPLE, UPSETTING MATERIAL***
@tobeyisprochoice Because, it’s not their body. Their body doesn’t have another heart, lungs, circular system, nervous system nor did it grow the ability to hear, see, move, and swallow from their womb. Because many pregnant women aren’t told the real risks. Because if they change their mind there are many instances of them being locked in. Because there are many people, including women, who survived abortions with their limbs shrunken from chemicals, torn off, their faces disfigured with chemicals. Because many women change their mind when they see their baby on ultrasound, but “pro choice” feminists don’t want women to have the “choice” to see their baby on ultrasound and then decide. Because Women can become infertile, and never have children again even when they want to, but aren’t warned of this. Because Planned Parenthood pretends they offer reproductive rights of all women, yet they offer no prenatal care, something that affects many women and could benefit many women, despite having ultrasound services. Because people pretend like every woman going into a clinic has a choice. Because I literally watched the heart of my baby at 8 weeks beat, and we as civilized humans do not have the right to stop the heart of another human being, even when it is “legal”. Slavery was legal, the Holocaust was legal. Many people believed it was their right to kill these people if they wanted to. Because “legal” doesn’t equal “right” or “ethical”. Because these are babies especially when they are almost viable outside the womb but people are lied to, they believe they are just “clumps of cells” when they aren’t. Because the pro life movement its made to be a bunch of “cis hetero white male christian republicans” and pro life feminists, people of color, democrats, women, etc. are ignored. Because we have dehumanized them, we ignore women who regret their abortions and the pain is very real to them. The famous song “Skillet - Lucy” is about abortion regret, about their parents naming them Lucy, wishing they could do it different, wishing they could hold them, watch them grow. Because there are people in first world countries who believe late term abortions are ok, when you could just have the baby and give them for adoption, and that infanticide is ok, that killing a baby while they are being born at 39-40+ weeks and even after they are born is ok, that its acceptable. Because as a feminist I will stand with all women, even the ones who are ignored. I will stand with the little girl who lost her arms to an abortionist and couldn’t receive justice because it’s “legal”, I will stand with the 14 year old who wants her baby, who wants them to live even if they have to give them for adoption, but is forced to get an abortion because her parents don’t want her to be seen as a slut, or have a child. Because I stand with the women who are locked in clinics when their baby is born alive, who have their phone taken, who scream for them to save them but they wont let her call help even thought its the law. Because you think I don’t think people have the right to choose just because I am “pro life” when really, I want people to have their rights to choose. I want these women to have the right to call help, I want them the right to change their mind, I want them the right to prenatal care at a facility which receives government funding and claims to provide health service for all women when in reality almost all they do is abortions and they don’t offer prenatal care which women need, and unborn women who are wanted by their mothers are affected by. Because if a woman kills her baby once they are born, even if they are born very early, just 23-24 weeks, she is deemed mentally unstable and she is put away, but if a woman waits 20 weeks and then gets an abortion that is socially acceptable. Because I will speak for those who literally cannot speak, who are dehumanized to the point where people believe they are nothing, that they aren’t even alive, and tell their story and their rights and make them heard because they scream. It has been documented, you can watch the video, where an ultrasound was done during an abortion. The baby’s heartbeat sped up, they moved as far away from the instruments as possible, they opened their mouth and moved frantically. These are the actions of someone alive. When an abortion is done at 14 weeks and beyond, the limbs are torn off alive, legs first, then arms, then torso, then the head is crushed. The abortionist knows the head is crushed when white fluid runs out, this is brain mater. There are cases of hearts coming out beating, the babies are alive and they feel this. They feel pain, no, they wont remember if they are born alive and survive, but neither would a young child who is molested, that doesn’t make it right. Because babies have rights, and people have forgotten that. Because many people who believe abortions are ok don’t even know the facts about them, they don’t know when the heart beats, they don’t know what the baby looks like or how developed they really are and they don’t know how abortions are done. When abortionists are trained they aren’t allowed to see the abortion yet, they have to slowly inch closer with each abortion they witness because many pass out. Many abortionists have come out speaking about the real lives they have taken. Because there are cases where the baby comes out screaming, described as completely ungodly to hear. Because when an abortion is done and its found to have been twins or more, they don’t tell the mother even though she should have the right to know. Because there are many, many things about the abortion industry that are violent and cruel to women.
On a final note on who I am, I am a nonbinary person, I am a teen parent, I had a traumatic pregnancy and birth where my daughter was born early and almost died. I spent three weeks going to the NICU every single day. I’ve seen babies literally the size of my hand, who’s legs and arms were thinner than my pinky, who were alive, who’s heads were the size of a golf ball, they were so tiny yet they lived, yet they aren’t “human”, yet they don’t deserve rights to people who advocate for post 20 week abortions. I received help from a pro life organization which is funded entirely by donations. They didn’t preach to me, they simply offered resources, went to classes on pregnancy and parenting, baby safety and baby development etc. And in return I could exchange points for items I needed, They offered a bassinet, baby tubs, diaper bags, baby clothes from preemie to age 2, maternity clothes, baby hygiene items, diapers, a free ultrasound bottles, food cups, sippy cups, blankets, shoes and many other resources. Organizations like these are not funded by the government even though they provide help for those who really need it, disadvantaged people, teen parents, people who need assistance. Almost no one is fighting for funding for these facilities. After the courses on parenting and pregnancy and birth are completed they offer financial courses and life skills such as grocery shopping and how to own a house and get a job. Yet they have to rely on people going out and buying items for them, church donations and private companies. They never pushed God on me, they never pushed a child on me, they offered courses on multiple birth pregnancies and adoption should I have chose it. They didn’t show scary abortion videos about going to hell and baby death. They just helped us. They had a 13 year old girl going there, they had had kids as young as 11 before. But no, no funding for them and their help, lets just fund the death of the problem, and it is death. Death definition “the permanent ending of vital processes in a cell or tissue “, the heart stops, the blood stops circulating, the brain activity which does exist stops, death.

Rights For ALL Women
”Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” We are granted the right to life, yet over 1,470,200,000 people have been denied their right worldwide since 1980 due to abortion. Why is it so hard for the feminist community to understand that all women should have rights, including those in the womb. A heart starts beating around 8-9 weeks, at my 8 week ultrasound you could see her heart pulse. Babies at 23-24 weeks are viable outside  the womb if they receive good care, that’s only 3-4 weeks away from the 20 week cutoff. And no, they are not just clumps of cells. A clump of cells doesn’t have a beating heart, because it doesn’t have a circulatory system to pump blood through. This isn’t about taking rights from women, and it’s not just “old white guys” making choices about women’s bodies. Yes, there is the instance of rape or incest, but we are not North Korea, we do not punish people for the crimes of their fathers. The pro choice movement loves to ignore the babies born alive, left to slowly die alone in a toilet. They ignore the failed abortions, the victims who live their lives disfigured from chemicals or having their limbs torn off. They ignore the women and young girls who don’t want abortions, but their parents/ guardians or boyfriends/husbands/partners force it on them. They ignore the women who change their mind, but are locked in the clinic, who realize their baby is alive but are forced to watch them die, aren’t allowed to call assistance. They ignore the women who regret abortions and suffer great depression and anxiety and grief. They ignore the men who want their child, who would take full custody should the mom not want the child, who would give anything to hold and raise them but have absolutely no choice in their child’s life. They ignore the fact that the baby tries to get away, that their heart rate increases, they show signs of fear, of pain. Not to mention the lie that the living moving feeling baby with a head and limbs a spine and heart, lungs and a brain that can hear and see light through the womb, is only a clump of cells. When will all women have rights, including those who cannot speak, who are completely invisible and completely dehumanized.

Work hard to be good and look good doing it. We need to change our PR, no one takes us seriously. We give good causes a bad name with our bad behaviour. It’s time for change, wear your best, act your best, do your best, speak our best, be respectful, what happened to peace and love?
Most of the problems of Tumblr-style social justice come from the idea that social justice is performative, that it’s more important to look good than to be good.

Hi~
Coming quick at you, all the help that had been sent to my Island, is apparently on hold. Also the U.S. won’t open the borders so other countries can send aid and Trump is tweeting about it’s our fault. Puerto Rico has been an U.S. territory since 1898 and to this day we have no control of what comes through our borders because of The Jones Act.
You wanna help Puerto Rico? Call your Representative and your Senators and tell them to waive/repeal/ban The Jones Act.
We need to reconstruct and rise up again, not to be dragged while we’re down. We don’t need to be reminded of the country’s debt when there are towns that can’t be reached almost 7 days after Hurricane Maria, when power is still out and there’s no running water and communications are down. We don’t fucking need some inept talking about our debt, instead of opening the borders so doctors and engineers come and help, so other countries nearby can come and bring provisions too. So roads can be open and people can be helped.
Again, you wanna help? Call your Representative and your Senators and tell them to waive/ban/repeal The Jones Act.
