I'm celebrating my free will today and remind myself how lucky I am! ...please be assured that although it is important what decisions you make, it's even more important that you make them at your own discretion. Celebrate your power over your on decisions! And own them. For me it was so hard to decide this morning whether I should go into a cold 5 degree celcius Irish sea. I'll be honest, I didn't desire coldness today. But I made a decision to stop overthinking the situation, 'just' aligned my action to my ultimate ONE decision I made almost 2 years ago: to look after my own health and wellbeing. I do not hold onto anger or grudge anymore. I still do feel these emotions but I stay with them and let them pass. Sometimes it takes longer to pass, than another time. But I release them. I learnt to forgive to myself and others too, in order to support my well-being. I used to be angry all the time...that was my default emotional state for years. Which made me, and kept me sick. Now, although I still can be hurt, in pain, in agony, I don't cling to this feeling anymore. I feel it, process it and move on. I try to stay in the present moment and focus on, take in, experience what is happening in front of me, right here, right now. It works. Taking deep breaths works. Counting til 10 works. Applying empathy works. I've come a long way, and more to go. But right here, right now is the best place I could imagine to be at this moment in time. Try it. Slow drivers, rude clients, difficult manager/colleauge/neighbour/spouse/parents-in-law, rainy weather, last minute cancellations, red traffic light, etc. Apply forgiveness. First of all to yourself as you have a right to feel this way, secondly to the other party. Take actions if needed, and move on, so you can enjoy the next experience to the fullest. Life is wonderful & magical. It worth living fearlessly & happily. I love to live & experience! I am no Saint in any way. Never been, never will be. I make many mistakes every single day. I mess up a lot of things. ...but I'm learning. Learning how to be kinder with myself. How to accept my genetic makeup, my limitations, how to nourish my mind, body and soul. I am learning how to accept what is unfolding in front of me, while doing my very best I can with what I have, to make my human life experience as enjoyable as possible. I am learning how to face and accept my toughts and emotions, and instead of numbing them, I learn how to sit with them until they pass. Even when it hurts. I was very sick for 6 years, until 6 months ago. Now I'm enjoying that I've gained back the freedom which comes with being healthy. Maintaining my health has been my number one priority. This includes creating healthy boundaries. It can be tough, as some people might get confused, even resistant regarding my 'new me'. But it cannot be otherwise. I have to take care of myself. As if I'm ill, I can't look after my kids, my family, friends, clients, business, etc. Thank you Mama Cacao for escorting me on my healing journey. I have many passions. 🙈 Baking is one of them.🧑‍🍳😋 I started baking 10 years ago when my son turned 1 and I needed a cake... I had decided to make him his very first birthday cake myself. I haven't stopped since. Baking became my hobby. My sanctuary. To keep me sane for years, after long working days in my corporate job. Creating mouth-watering sweets with my own two hands was so therapeutic. I was freeing my soul and openning my heart during making tasty creations. I controlled the ingredients, the pace, the design the process, the delivery, everything. I've baked few hundred cakes over the past decade. And along the way, I turned my hobby into a small revenue stream too. Baking is hard. It's a heavy physical job...standing all day, keeping bad postures, etc. I have to be mindful of myself, as I love doing it. And, this is one thing I have been encouraging my coaching clients who are longing for life (including career) transformation: 'Find a hobby and turn into a business.' ...so you can do it passionately from your heart. That's what I've been doing. Baking passionately while allowing some financial exchange coming into my way from this stream too. I love my life.🫶❤️ Never been happier & healthier.
