As afirst time tublr user, I must say I like it a lot. I feel like there's a lot less toxic bullshit then on other social media platforms. I don't feel any pressure or anxiety before I post something, never did I think that a social media platform would be "chill" I guess. Thanks to everyone who liked and rebloged my first two posts.
I also like to draw sometimes. Been drawing most of my life. Got a tablet recently... Not really recently but almost never got around to using it. My first try at digital art. Don't know how I feel about it, it's certainly less messy.
This is Zinnia, a Warlock from my home D&D campaign I'm DM-ing. My girlfriends original character, we've been working on her backstory together and it's been a blast. Her patron is the King in Yellow. I had to homebrew that shit from scratch. It was fun to traumatize my players with weird visions.
Their first arc finished a while back. In the final confrontation her hair went fully white from the stress and intense magic. This art is obviously before that occurred. I can't wait to draw all the other Player Characters.
Been working on and off, (having a full time job in this capitalist hell hole is not helping), on Almur - Rogue Arcane Trickster - Wood Elf. Can't wait to finish it, he's so theatrical.
I fell in love with this song the other day and something compelled me this morning to record a cover. A lot of the lyrics are in the Dorset dialect. It's not perfect but who gives a shit.
I recorded and processed everything in FL Studio.
I never used Tumblr before. I wanted to document my music and anything else I can think of. I've been making music for almost 10 years now. I'm working on my 2nd full length album and two soundtracks. I'll try to make "behind the scenes" videos on that soon.
Enjoy this cover.
Lyrics:
The beech buds wait, the ash buds wait
The frogs and toads in lagwood holes
Hedgehogs in their leafy ditch
All waiting for His kingdom
The eth waits and the dead brakes
That host the holly’s bloody beads
They are his crown of thorns
And he will rise again
Oh Wyman, oh Wyman
Unray I, unray I for en
Oh Wyman, oh Wyman
Unray I, unray I for en
Slip from my childhood skin, I zing
I zing through the forest
I hover in the holway
And l laugh into the leaves
Oh Wyman, oh Wyman
Unray I, unray I for en
Oh Wyman, oh Wyman
Unray I, unray I for en
I laugh in leaves and merge to meesh
Just a charm in the woak
With the chalky children
Of evermore
