Why is Sexual Health and education so Important?
Tumblr media
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the openness with which people approach sex. This is mostly due to increased exposure to various sex educations, sexual health, professional assistance, growing understanding of how to have safe sex, and better inclusion of sex-related items in the debate. It used to be a taboo subject, a private matter that was only discussed behind closed doors, and people were often hesitant to seek expert guidance. People are more open to experimentation now that they鈥檝e discovered the drawbacks of keeping it a secret. It has a number of health benefits, but it can also serve as a disease entry point. As a result, more openness is required.
What is Sexual Health and Wellness?
Sexual wellbeing is a combination of physical, mental, and social well-being that has something to do with sexuality. Growing sexual wellness knowledge encourages a good and respectful attitude toward sexuality and sexual interactions. This also assures that the couple participating in it has a safe and enjoyable experience free of compulsion, discrimination, or violence. Better exposure would also reduce the risk of obtaining sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or becoming pregnant unintentionally.
What to do to be sexually Healthy?
Understanding that sex is more than just intercourse or masturbation is key to sexual wellness. It has something to do with our overall health, how we feel in our skin, and how close we are to our partner (s).
Tumblr media
Condoms, intrauterine devices (IUDs), contraceptive shots and pills, and fertility tracking are all examples of sexual protection today. When it comes to sexual activity, the sort of protection you and your partner choose will be determined by your specific needs as well as theirs. These forms of protection also serve a variety of purposes.
Condoms (which should only be used once unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise) are a multi-purpose tool that can help prevent both pregnancy and the spread of sexually transmitted illnesses (STIs). Contraceptives are used to prevent conception, but they can also be taken for a variety of other purposes, including PMS relief, acne management, and more. Read more

What is a Fertility diet? How it can help
Tumblr media
Fertility and diet are popular issues these days, and fertility-related foods are a big part of that. Is it true, however, that particular diets can help you become more fertile? Also known as a a Fertility Diet.
While no single food or fertility diet will suddenly increase your chances of conception, a nutritious and well-balanced diet can surely help men and women maintain general health, including reproductive health.
It鈥檚 crucial to note that many major diseases that cause infertility in women and men are unaffected by food choices. Dietary modifications, for example, will not unblock the fallopian tubes if the tubes are obstructed, preventing sperm from reaching an egg.
Foods that can be included in the Fertility Diet
Aged Cheese
Aged cheddar, parmesan, and manchego cheeses, for example, may help sperm health. Polyamines are abundant in mature cheeses. Polyamines are a type of protein that can be found in both plant and animal sources. They are also found in humans naturally.
Tumblr media
Polyamines have been shown to serve a crucial role in the reproductive system, according to research. Mature cheese contains a large amount of the polyamine putrescine, which may help sperm health. Putrescine is also thought to improve egg health, particularly in women over 35. (Yes, the putrescine found in grapefruit is the same putrescine found in grapefruit.)
Sunflower Seeds
Sunflower seed kernels that have been roasted and unsalted are high in vitamin E, an essential component that has been found to improve sperm count and motility in certain persons. Sunflower seeds are also high in folate and selenium, both of which are essential for male and female fertility. Sunflower seeds contain small levels of omega-3 fatty acids and are a good source of omega-6 fatty acids. Read More

Can BMI Affects a women鈥檚 Fertility?
Tumblr media
When it comes to fertility, your BMI and weight matters. Obesity is one of the leading causes of preventable infertility in women. 1 (It鈥檚 unclear how much weight affects male fertility.) According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), more than 70% of women with weight-related infertility could get pregnant without fertility treatments if they lose weight.
At the same time, it鈥檚 critical to understand that hormonal imbalances and a variety of other factors can contribute to weight gain. It鈥檚 not just a matter of eating healthier and exercising more. Furthermore, being underweight can lead to infertility. The situation is more complex than that. What effect does weight have on fertility? Is your weight normal for your height? What are you going to do about it? Being Overweight Researchers looked at the relationship between women鈥檚 body size and how long it took them to get pregnant in a study published in the journal Human Reproduction. The authors studied approximately 1,650 women. Women with a BMI of 25 to 29 had a 17 percent longer delay in getting pregnant than those with a BMI of 20 to 24 (roughly the normal-weight range). Those who were obese with a BMI of 30 to 34 had a 25% longer delay, and those who were extremely obese with a BMI of 35 or higher had a 39% longer delay. Read more
