Hmmmmm. Honestly, I kinda forced myself to finish this book coz I still believe the couple will have their happy ending. They did, eventually. But damn! Three books of nonstop misunderstandings, clashes of ideal, betrayal and abuse. It was such a toxic relationship I can’t believe I finish reading it. For a true mates phenomena, it was quite dark and traumatic. lol
Anyway, Alpha and Omega terms are usually tied with werewolves. So I seriously thought this series is about shapeshifters and magic. However, until last page of Book 1, they never shift. Then it occurs to me eventually that they are just people with history of magic. Alpha are warriors, strong, fierce, and straight forward. And yes fucking barbaric too. While the Omegas are the submissive females with talent for magic. They are pairs meant to be together. However due to unfortunate circumstances, Omegas hide themselves away from society and sort of vanish. After hundreds of years, finally an omega appears and a true mate of a Emperor. But it isn’t a wham-bam lets fall in love kind of story. Drocco and Cailyn represents the other side of mating; the traumatic one.
It was a good story don’t get me wrong. I understand every point and perspective of each characters. I fully understand how Drocco hates magic and liers. Yes some actions are too much but he did redeem himself in later part of the story. For Cailyn, the isolation and subjective knowledge about Alphas makes her untrustful of them. I also get why she can’t trust everything she hears, feels and think. It just reminds me that you must not go into relationship together unless both parties are completely healed from any trauma they experience. Their story is a definition of a toxic relationship. lol
Anyway, this series have 9 books already. But i will stop after Book 3. Drocco and Cailyn’s love story is enough for my emotions to take haha. I think only 30% of the book is what i can consider happy moments for the two. Well the epilogue make up for all the struggles I think 🙂

Okay this series goes beyond my expectation! Can’t believe I fell in love with another family. These immortals are one of my faves now 🙂 The story plot is very interesting, not the typical vampire story. I super like it! The revelations book after book is fire!!! Plus the fights are very detailed. I specially love the reference to ninjas with all the katana, shoto and shurikens. The dweeb in me is coming out hahahaha
Anyway after 9 books, i can say the author wrapped it up very good. It was a HEA and i can’t be more satisfied 🙂 Adira and Michael is like the cherry on top. The author made them possible without breaking the story plot’s limitation. Every characters are great, you are totally gonna love them. Though my favorite is Cliff; his honor and kindness despite his struggles. I just wish he was cured after that blast in Book 9. I was waiting for that confirmation! If anyone deserves HEA, its Cliff. :))))
To summarize, Immortal Guardians are gifted ones struck with virus that kill vampires to save humans. This is the story of Seth – powerful leader, and his immortal guardian family. You can follow how each and everyone found their special someone after centuries of being alone. Ofcourse everything isnt easy, and every fight and battle get them all closer together. 😀

Hmmmm what can I say about this series? I actually enjoyed it. Isn’t as dramatic as other romance books, but still have a bit of action. Though some books are sex-heavy, most part of the series is enjoyable 🙂
The characters are amazing despite of the expected story plot. This is your typical “soulmates” story with the love-at-first-sight syndrome. The men are warriors so very alpha, and women are from Earth, reluctant at first. The females are thinking, that is for sure. It is entertaining and if I can read the series until Book 7, so do you. 🙂

It’s been a while since I finish a book, more of reading a series. For 2019, my passion for books was gone. It was a tough year, but now I am slowly trying to get back. I tried a lot of books before these, when nothing works since I cannot finish a book, I decided to check my fave authors. Aurora Reynolds had always been one of my faves, and I am so glad she lifted me out of my funk! Anyways, lets go back to the books now!
How To Catch An Alpha series is the usual fast love romance. It is funny but very safe. The hero is loyal, possessive, nice, and hot. The usual alpha syndrome ofcourse. After reading so many ARR books, i can say this series is kinda predictable. Very light with almost no drama. The story plot is good and I love the characters. Maybe I just wished for more complications. xD
Anyways if you want a fast read with a very light story and for sure HEA, better check this series out. There is humor and love in here. No cheating and all those heartbreaks! You’ll surely feel good after reading these 2 books. 🙂

Honestly, I have been hesitant to read this series after 1st book because I hate Bronagh’s character. She is so annoying, I almost did not finish Dominic. Thank God I read the excerpts for the rest of the books, so I give it a go. Now I am glad I learn more about the brothers and I soooo love their family it is so hard to part ways after book 6! I just love the growing family sooooo much esp in BROTHERS. The babies are all grown up and the whole fam exploded in numbers. Love them ❤

7 BROTHERS. A FAMILY OF EX-NAVY SEALS. NOW A SECRET BLACK OPS TEAM.
Okay its not the best military romance I read. Maybe because there are little suspense in the story; 3 out of 7 books. It is more of how heroines play hard-to-get and Callaghan boys court them like forever. I just expect more explosions I guess, and I am disappointed it has more internal dialog than action. Still, it is enjoyable tho.
What I like about this series is every book is different. The story plot is totally unique for each couples so the feelings are also refreshing. I just hope the author emphasize more how special the Callaghan family are. They were given limited circumstances where they can show their strength. Maybe aside from Ian, Michael and Shane. Anyways I was still entertained and made it til 7th book! I love the most are the babies popping every book. haha. I wish they have more exposure. lol.
Oh and this is all about Croie. The concept is to find your soulmate and insta-love story. 🙂

I love Suzanne Wright! I already read her series about Werewolves and Vampires, so its no surprise she have Demons!!! As always, she did not disappoint. Burn is freakin amazing!
HELL. OF. FIRE. Everybody is afraid of Knox Thorne. A powerful Prime that allegedly can call the flames of hell anytime. Bored and aloof, everybody are surprised he found his anchor and mate within the Wallis family. Harper Wallis, tho a sphinx, is an Imp thru and thru. Aside from being looked down due to her family background, she also don’t have wings that makes her weak. However, nobody expect her to be a brave, strong and powerful woman that snatch Knox’s demon right from the start.
I love these Las Vegas couple! They are one of my faves out-of-all the stories I read. Both are headstrong, powerful and alpha in their own right. They compliment each other so much, and the author writes their character very well. So its no surprising that their baby is also one of a kind. Awww I super adore Asher, and I hope we can have another book about the young Thorne. ❤
Aside from the instant attraction romance, the suspense, mystery and action also appealed to me. I love it when I got to think and guess who the real villains are. Plus, I enjoy the plot whenever the author reveal the villain and stuff. Tho the only downside for me is, after book 3, it feels like the plot is kinda repetitive. Or maybe its how the author introduce again and again the characters. You have that deja vu feeling like, “fuck did I read this paragraph before?’. Seriously, I kinda skip that part when I’m reading.
Overall, its pretty entertaining. Different type of demons were introduced; tho I hope side characters were given some development. Especially the Sentinels and Harper’s BFF. Anyways, I enjoyed it regardless of some issue. I love the Thorne family and I hope there is Book 5! ❤
