The Unshakable Peace

Peace in my creator

who made me in love with love

mould me as I am, all that I am

and the way that I am

in what I can be,

In that I have a choice

to allow that Love

to deepen its life in me

such that I may freely choose

what I truly desire

I want and I desire

to live abundantly,

fully and wholeheartedly

in body, mind and spirit

in the unshakable peace

A peace in my soul,

grounded in the Love

the very identity of that Love,

with compassion and mercy,

understanding how disoriented

I can be in the midst of

the struggles of and in

this challenging world

that I have been born into

always longing and wanting

Yet, still desiring for

what is always close by,

within my very grasp,

but constantly just out of my reach

the unending desire for true love

To live, learn and to share

that I exist, but not only

in my mind, or in any part of me

because I am whole, complete in the

goodness and holiness of the truth

Any ideas on what I could do with this? I wanted to make into a cushion but it's not big enough so I thought I could take it apart and make it into something else. Maybe a flower garland or another type of hanging piece? Any suggestions are welcome!

Text: PSA to anyone with a tree nut allergy who frequents starbucks. We have a new drink called the pistachio cold foam cold brew and our pistachio sauce not only has real pistachio in it, the syrup sticks inside the blender and will 100% not fully wash off with the rinsers we use (its just water). I highly suggest if you want a cold foam drink during Jan-March you request it done in a sanitized blender to lower the chance of having a reaction if you are at risk.

negativity - everyday may not be good, but there’s a little good in every day

I made a baby blanket for a pregnant woman at work and I went back and forth about it like “is this weird? To like hand make something for someone when we’re like friendly acquaintances not like bffs. God why are you so fucking awkward.” Anyway I gave it to her and she said she loved it and in the back of my head I’m like yea she’s nice and probably just humoring the weirdo. Well she texted me a picture this weekend of a scrunchy faced newborn at the hospital wrapped in the blanket I made her. And I’m like. Wow. She loved it so much she took it with her! To the hospital! To give birth! She wrapped her newborn it! I am just so filled with love and joy right now.

People will love the things you make them. Because you thought of them and you cared.
