THE TYPES AND THE COURT CARDS (IV)

A rather simple addition to the series that started with post #16 and continued with post #78 (+ its alternate versions) and post #132. The images here come from the classic Rider-Waite Tarot, and were made by Pamela Colman Smith. Below each type’s temperament I’ve included another way of summarizing the dominant>auxiliary relationship, which was explained in point 2 of post #31. The idea is always the same: X2 depends on X1, so the more/better the dominant → the more/better the auxiliary (it also works with “the less/worse”, etc). Second version: Dark Wood Tarot.

THE TYPES AND THE COURT CARDS (II)

This is a continuation of the tables in post #16. The images here are the court cards in the Egorov Tarot (I think they are really beautiful). The artist is Alexandre Egorov. Below the name of each card I’ve included a composite that tries to reflect the basic meaning of the card and the main conscious ability/interest of the corresponding MBTI type (it comes from intelligence and perception + rhythm). The last element is another possible name for each type, made with a different angle on intelligence and what I called “task” in post #49.

I weep in sorrow as I watch my nation fall,

Once so proud, so tall, we seemed above it all.

We fight ourselves, building walls of hate between us all.

Never a helping hand or even a bit of empathy for anyone, not ever, not at all.

We seem to have forgotten that we all bleed red, we all have a heart beating in our chests.

It appears our leaders have forgotten their people.

We were a nation of opportunity and freedom.

When did we lose those? Opportunity and freedom, the very foundation of our goddam nation.

No longer a shining beckon atop the hill, if we ever were.

Now we just sit here on our walls as they crumble and fall wishing we could do anything. Anything to make the ache stop.

No.

No, I refuse. This is not it. This is not the end.

We can change.

We will change.

We are changing.

We will smash those walls down with our determination and heart.

With our compassion and hope.

We will fight until that light is lit, burning bright for everyone.

It appears as though our leaders have forgotten us, let’s remind them, shall we?

Person: What did you do over the weekend intp?

Intp(me): Saturday I slept over half the day catching up on my missed sleep from the previous week and binged the first half of the first season of Merlin. Sunday I did homework from the time I woke up until 2 ate lunch and then spent the rest of my day screaming into the bureaucratic void to try and get grant funding for an internship and still couldn’t get it done. I gave up around 7 and watch tangled while nursing a headache and eating ice cream.
