Premise: After falling into an alternate universe, one where superheroes are a common occurrence, the Doctor & Donna have falling into the hands of S.H.I.E.L.D. All they want is to go home, but without energy to the Tardis they are in a dead zone. Luckily, a genius among geniuses in the group known as ‘Earth’s mightiest heroes,’ they may get their key to powering up the other worldly machine.
————————————————
To the Doctor and Donna’s surprise, they were not driving away from the tower taking over the New York skyline. Instead they were actually driving toward it. Nick Fury had his phone to his ear and speaking in a low voice neither of them could make out the words to and so they both fiddled with their fingers until the car eventually came to a stop. When they glanced up, they were in what looked like a parking garage. “Let’s go,” Fury said while opening his door. The two followed and walked behind the man as he led them to an elevator.
It took them a moment to realize they were on the ground level of the tower. When they did, they both looked at each other in a mix of awe and speculation. “Umm,” the Doctor hummed, “where exactly are we, Director?” He watches Fury press a button on the panel, who answers, “Avengers Tower.”
“Avengers?” Donna tested the name on her tongue, finding it a bit silly. The Doctor recognized the name, biting his lip and making an ‘ah-ha!’ sound when he remembered.
“That’s the name of this Earth’s ‘mightiest heroes.’ Right, Director?”
Fury raised his brow, still a little iffy on the whole ‘another universe’ skeptical. “That’s correct.”
“Brilliant! I’ve always wanted to meet a real life superhero. Although, I’m not a fan of inflicting violence upon people even if it is for the greater good.” Donna couldn’t help but roll her eyes at his statement. It’s like the Doctor forgot their first meeting with the spider alien queen in which he practically killed her children and the queen herself.
“So you’re the director of the Avengers then?” The redhead asks, gapping in awe when the elevator pulls up and they overlook New York through its glass walls.
“I’m the director of S.H.I.E.L.D, and the Avengers are part of it.” Before either of them could ask what the organization was, Fury continues, “S.H.I.E.L.D stands for Strategic Homeland Interventions, Enforcement, and Logistics Division.”
The Doctor makes a face, “That’s quite a mouthful.” Fury narrows his eyes at him.
“Hence the acronym. We specializes in extra-governmental counter-terrorism and intelligence. In which we maintain both national and global security.” He gives the two a look over, “which is why we’re gonna have a little chat.”
Putting two and two together on what Fury was referring to in regards to them, the Doctor gives a nervous chuckle. “We’re not threats, I can assure you.”
Fury doesn’t look convinced, and the elevator dings signaling they’ve reached the 40th floor. “I’ll be the judge of that.”
Ten minutes later the Doctor and Donna find themselves seated at a table in an enclosed conference room on one of the many levels of the tower. Fury sits across from them with a notepad and recording device. “Okay so run it by me again. You two are ‘travelers’ you say,” the two nod, “from another universe and that police looking box is your time machine.”
“The Tardis,” the Doctor corrects, Donna nudging him when she spots the annoyed look from Fury at being interrupted.
“Yes, the Tardis. And you ma’am stated earlier that you’re human, but he’s not.” Fury closes the notepad, interlacing his hands together to lay on top of the table. “So what are you, Doctor?”
“I’m a Time Lord,” he answers with a smile. “From the planet Gallifrey. I’m actually nine hundred years old—give or take a few years.”
Fury nods, as if it’s any other work day. Donna glances between him and the Doctor, a look of surprise on her face. “You don’t look like he's got two heads. Most people look like he’s got two heads when he says that.”
This makes the man laugh, “Believe it or not, Miss. Noble, this is not my first rodeo. If you happened across any papers lately, you may have seen we are recovering from a recent alien invasion.”
“Yeah, what was on about that by the way—ow!” The Doctor yelps when Donna pinches him, gaze reading, ‘now’s not the time.’ He mumbles, “Sorry.”
Fury just rolls his eyes—or eye, considering one was hidden beneath the eyepatch. “Is there any way you can prove to me what you are?” This makes the Doctor frown, but shrug nonetheless when he answers, “Just listen to my hearts.”
“Hearts?” Fury repeats, with slight concern. “As in plural?” Before the Doctor could confirm, the door swings open to reveal a lady in a black leather catsuit with an eagle emblem on the side. Both Donna and the Doctor jump back at the sound, eyes going straight to the woman. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek bun, a utility belt equipped with gear on her waist and holsters with guns attached to her thighs.
“You rang?” There was a hint of mischief in her tone, making the Doctor’s ears perk. Her attention was on the Director, who turned in his chair to greet her.
“Yes,” he stands before waving a hand to the two seated across from him. “These are who I was telling you about over the phone.” (Y/e/c) colored eyes trail over to the redhead first before landing on the Doctor. Fury continues, “This is the Doctor and his companion Donna Noble.”
The unknown woman tilts her head, interest peaked at the introduction. “The Doctor? What kind of name is that? That’s a title you have to earn.” The tone in her voice reads, “And i worked my ass off to earn it, buddy.’
“Oh you would sure know that,” Fury smirks, causing her to scoff, though there’s a hint of pride in her demeanor. The Doctor leans forward in his chair, intrigued by the woman despite the slight insult to his name. “He’s from another planet in another universe, L/n. Both of them are.”
This has the woman, L/n, straighten her posture, a twinkle of awe in her eyes. “So it’s true then,” she exhaled, snapping her head back to the Doctor. “The multiverse is real.” The name was not familiar to the Time Lord, but the concept was.
A nod of his head and the woman is clapping her hands in glee. The Doctor couldn’t help but smile. Her excitement was contagious. “Holy shit! I knew it—I gotta tell Tony! And Bruce! This is—.”
“Let’s take things one at a time, Doc.” At first the Doctor thought Fury was referring to him, but quickly realized it was her he was talking to. “We have other things on our plate at the moment. Stark and Banner can hear your gossip later.”
“Gossip?!” She screeches, jaw dropping at the insult. “This is the biggest scientific breakthrough in the whole damn universe, Nick!” The larger man rolled his eyes once again, taking out his phone and pulling up something before handing it to her.
“Just take a look at this for me, please.” With a huff, she takes the device and begins inspecting whatever was on the screen. First there’s confusion, “Is that a nineteen-sixties police box from England?”
“It’s not a police box. It’s his Time Machine—so he says.”
Now her eyes were wide with shock, “holy shit. Well, that’s not something you hear everyday.”
Fury takes the phone when she’s done, placing it back in his jacket pocket. “Yeah, well he also says he’s got two hearts.” He ignores the look of surprise from her, glancing back at the two. It’s then he realized he didn’t introduce the woman to them. “Where are my manners? Doctor, Miss. Noble, this is Doctor Y/n L/n.” She gives a slight courtesy, making them smile. “Although she’s better known to the world as ‘The Ice Princess.’ Oh don’t give me that look,” he says when he notices her slight glare. Y/n wasn’t too keen on the nickname bestowed on her by the public. This made them intrigued
Donna raised her brows. “Wha-why do they call you the ice princess?” It was an interesting name no doubt. It had that ‘May not look like they could kill you, but trust you don’t want to anger them,’ tone to it.
Instead of answering, Y/n smirked and took off her gloves. For a moment the two travels sat there confused. Then before their very eyes, the areas where Y/n's skin was visible to them became iridescent—nearly see through—and crystallized. Gasping, the two’s jaws dropped in amazement. “Oh my God,” Donna whispered.
“Oh that’s not all,” Y/n chuckled, skin turning back to normal. Taking a slight inhale her lips formed a small ‘o’ shape before blowing the air toward them. The cool air that hit them made the two flinch, goosebumps coating their entire body.
“Woah!” The Doctor laughed while Donna was rubbing her hands along her arms in an attempt to get warm.
Y/n stopped blowing, cranking her neck a bit. “That was only a taste. Any more and you’d turn to ice.” Her eyes went back to Fury, waiting for instruction. He gives her the rundown on all the doctor had told him. Once done she turns to the alien, “So your machine, what you call the Tardis, is basically out of juice?”
“Pretty much,” he nods sheepishly while scratching his neck. “It’s happened before—long story by the way—but I need to power it up with some kind of strong energy source.” Standing, the Doctor approaches with his hands flappering out, “You see, my Tardis draws power from our—,” he points between him and Donna, “universe. Therefore it cannot properly function in this one.”
“I see,” Y/n rubs her chin while thinking. A minute passes by, the room filled with silence as the doctor/agent/superhero comes up with something. Then she gives an ‘ah-ha!’ with a finger pointed up. “I know just the source that could be of help for us. Nick?”
“Oh no,” she scowls at his shake of the head. Then he gives a pointed look, “Do you not remember what just took place? There’s no way in hell I’m letting you use it—even if it does help your case.” The Doctor frowned, confused at what the two were referring to. There was also some annoyance given what it was could be the key to powering the Tardis, and Fury was withholding it.
Y/n rolled her eyes, putting her hands out as she spoke. “Look, Nick, we don’t have the damn cube anymore. Only the energy left over from you guys making your special gadgets with it all these years. I just need a substantial amount to condense it someway in order to test the theory. It’s the most powerful energy source on the planet—even without its physical form in our hands.”
Wanting to know exactly what they were talking about, the Doctor leaned in so his head was between the two from the side. “Hi, I’m sorry—uh could you tell me what you’re talking about.” Donna nodded from her chair, huffing in annoyance, “Yeah, just keep leaving us in the dark.”
Y/n apologized, smiling to the two. “Forgive me. What I’m trying to tell my friend here,” she waves a hand to Fury, “is that the Tesseract could very well help us with your problem.”
“The tesseract?” The Doctor repeated with curiosity. Never had he heard of such a thing. And with the way the two were talking about it, it had to be a very important object. One Fury did not want to get into the wrong hands.
“I take it you don’t have this in your universe?” Y/n asks, causing the Doctor to shake his head. It makes her sigh, “Well to make this long story short, it’s a cosmic cube-like object containing an enormous amount of energy. Energy that, if not careful enough, could wipe out an entire planet.” Y/n sees the surprised expressions of the two and nods, “Yeah, I know. We don’t know much about the history of the Tesseract, but we had it in our custody for several decades in order to study it—and maybe make horrible decisions with weapon modeling. Anyway, we no longer have the cube.”
“But you still have traces of it’s energy,” The Doctor assumed from what she had stated earlier to Fury. The woman nods and he adds, “Right, so that is…definitely something that could power the Tardis.”
Y/n snaps her fingers, excitment starting to build at getting to test the theory. “That’s what I’m saying. If we can take the leftover traces from the cube, then maybe we can condense it and wire it into your ship. Then boom, you guys get to go home.” Fury still doesn’t look convinced, but Donna claps her hands on the table before standing up, “I say it’s worth a shot. Let the two geniuses get a hand on it.”
Y/n laughs, glancing to Fury and looking smug, “I’m not the only genius you know. I have two other big brains who can help. And one is soooo much better than me at quantum physics.” This makes Fury roll his eyes, though he does let out a chuckle.
“Okay, Y/n, I’ll authorize your little project.” Before she or the Doctor could cheer he cuts them off, “But, you have to keep me updated on everything. How long do you think this is going to take?”
She thinks for a moment, “If we have my two favorite science bros giving a helping hand, I say we can get it done by the end of the week. Maybe less?” The Doctor fumbles a bit when he realizes she was talking to him.
“Oh-uh-yes-yes. That’s splendid.” He rocks on his heal, glancing away as he then says, “Although uh, we should double time it if I’m being honest. There’s a crack in time and space with us here that will get bigger and possibly cause destruction of both realities if I don’t seal it soon.”
When a silence follows his announcement, the Doctor turns to find both Y/n and Fury staring back at him with their jaws slightly open. They glance to each other briefly. “Well shit.”

DiVe headcanons [Diluc x Kaveh] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Author's note: Had to edit some stuff after i did the interdarshan championship and saw how he acted during al haitham's story quest. I got to know him more and god i love him so much- so ye, edited some stuff since i want to make him close to canon since he's so perfect. content: full on fluffy lovey dovey little shits, a few crack headcanons here and there, bit of angst, and with Kaveh here, ofc there's alcohol and drunkenness Anyways- enjoy ^^
-One thing's for sure, Diluc confesses first. End of story. Kaveh would plan the most elaborate confession, with plans even for the possibility of rejection. But Diluc. Diluc... [God the confession was so chaotic-]
-He wanted to set things straight as soon as he realized his feelings, making Kaveh have a mix of emotions. -All that's going on in Kaveh's brain: ● "Omg that confession was so cute- with the backside of the mansion as a makeshift candle-lit dinner too? Gosh, he's so adorable-" ●"hefeelsthesamewayhefeelsthesamewayhefeelsthesameway-" ['He feels the same way] ●"I PLANNED AN ELABORATE SURPRISE FULL OF THOSE FLOWERS YOU LIKE BY THE SIDE OF THE LAKE FOR A VERY CUTE BUT AFFORDABLE DATE AND YOU STOLE MY THUNDER-" -Diluc was upset ofc cuz the first thing he saw was Kaveh in fury. [dw, both were a blushing mess after Kaveh finished his angry rambling and Diluc slowly processing what he just said] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ aight time for hcs on when they're dating: -Kaveh sometimes asks Diluc on some architecture stuff. Cuz, he's prolly been everywhere with all this having to import wine, and prolly been in fine establishments. -So maybe some insight into what types of walls he's seen in Snezhnayan infrastructures and whatnot. -Diluc doesn't have many memories of what the buildings looked like since he was focused on the business [like the fatui killing spree]. But Kaveh knows. He's just trying to get to know which places he's been to and see if he can get a story out of him. -Kaveh most definitely laughed his ass off when Diluc told him about the vodka incident and why he's never drunk wine ever again. -Like, he'd tease the shit out of him but still loves him regardless. -I like to think that whenever they go to some sort of gathering, like, a ball, Kaveh sneaks in a bottle of grape juice. -So that whenever someone offers Diluc a drink, he pours the grape juice into his empty cup, then discreetly switches his with Diluc's. -When Diluc took a sip expecting the awful drink, he was surprised to realize it was his favourite glass of grape juice in his mouth. Then he looks at Kaveh, gulping down his glass, then winking at Diluc. -Diluc thinks this is really sweet of Kaveh, but unfortunately, he had to go home earlier than the rest as his partner has gone drunk from a single glass. -Diluc was kinda glad he didn't have to drink whatever was in that glass as well as being out of that ball that didn't interest him. -Kaveh wakes up with a headache but tells Diluc it was worth it as he proceeds to vomit in the bucket that was fetched in advance. -Kaveh is now part of Mondt's drinking squad™ for sure [Kaeya, Venti, Rosaria, and I think Eula?]. -More reasons for Diona to hate Diluc: he has a drunkard boyfriend -Kaeya and Kaveh are besties def. Booba window hotties. The two pretty best friends they say they ain't seen yet. -Both of them terrorize Diluc with lots of teasing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diluc: "I would have thrown you out already if you weren't my boyfriend." Diluc huffs, to which Kaveh answers, Kaveh: "I know, but you can't cuz you love me~" Diluc: "..."*clearly blushing* Kaeya: "Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd a point to the Light of Ksharewar, earning yet another embarrassed face from our dearest bartender-" Diluc: "Out." Kaeya: "Aw, why so mean?" Diluc: "Do I have to drag you out myself?" Kaeya: "And that is my cue...drink to your heart's content for me Kaveh~" And off Kaeya goes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -Kaveh is def really flirty, is what you'd think. But I think he'd be really shy and hesitant about showing affection at first. -Yeah, he's really out going and caring whenever he's with anyone, but showing a specific kind of love that isn't shared between friendship is a different thing. -cuz I mean, with what happened to him, he's constantly questioning himself whether he deserves this happiness, Diluc, or to be even loved. -Diluc takes his time with him though, which allowed Kaveh to slowly open up more emotionally to him. [This made Kaveh a bit more clingy to Diluc, chatting more, and smiling more] anyways- -He likes giving handmade stuff to Diluc as gifts. One of the few he has given is a portrait of Diluc and a miniature version of The Dawn Winery. -There has also been a time where Kaveh played an instrument for him as a surprise for their anniversary. -Ever since that time, they sometimes try to duet during simple at home dates. -Diluc is basically a sugar daddy- ahem. -Diluc loves spoiling Kaveh with gifts. Whenever they go shopping together, if Kaveh saw something, he'd buy it. No doubt. No words needed. -kaveh has always had an eye for pretty things, and with that, he tries not to look into shops as much after he noticed how all the things he wanted to buy but didn't were at the front of his room. [Al Haitham put them inside.] -But that's not the only way he shows his love for Kaveh. Whenever both of them are busy, he has Adelinde taking care of Kaveh for him. -She provides him snacks and beverages whenever she sees Kaveh neglecting his needs just to finish by the deadline. -And whenever necessary, she knocks him out so he can actually sleep for once. She's taken care of the young master, how is this any different? -With this, Kaveh has actually been having a somewhat healthier sleeping schedule than before. As he has developed a fear of not taking care of himself after those countless knock outs from Adelinde. -Going back to deadlines, Diluc sometimes sends connections to Kaveh's client to lengthen the deadline, and with threats if necessary. He loves his boyfriend after all. -So forgot to mention stuff about how Kaveh would be during the time that he finally moves out of Al haitham's house. [he is rejoicing] -So I see Kaveh being out of place and awkward in the Dawn Winery, since he's never had maids and butlers before. -Like, he'd usually do all the chores himself even before his mom left for Fontaine. So this is a real spin off from his usual life. -His conscience not being able to take it, he just helps the maids with their work. By doing so, everyone in the mansion has grown to like Kaveh too, and even being friendly to the point they have a chat with him whenever they're free. -Though Adelinde kinda hates how he's really friendly with everyone, cuz he usually chats with Moco and Hillie, who sometimes takes advantage of his kindness and asking for help with chores. [He was pretty happy to help but like, you have a bunch of deadlines deary-] -As Adelinde and Elzer seem to be the ones that are with Diluc the longest, sometimes they tell Kaveh stories about Diluc. In rare times, ones that involve Kaeya. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ don't forget to like and reblog, it rlly helps with the algorithm ^^ Will start moving my writings to a different blog when all my drafts are posted, in which i will post part 2 there for now, check a few of my other writings here ^^

I posted recs of 25 of my favorite fanworks produced this year over on my DW and thought I should cross-post them here! List is arranged alphabetically by fandom and is a mix of fic and vids from 2023 (that weren't created for Festivids or Yuletide, because I always rec a lot from those challenges).
The Shipping Forecast series by leupagus (Broadchurch, Alec Hardy/Ellie Miller, 23k)
Ellie Miller and Alec Hardy, drifting together.
📺 I Wanna Be Evil by lilly_the_kid (Child’s Play | Chucky, Tiffany Valentine, fanvid)
You're sweet, my dear. Prim and proper.
beneath your weary heart by waveridden (Dimension 20, Ricky Matsui/Esther Sinclair, 10k)
It’s a comfort, having a name that is right. It is a comfort knowing that she is Sorrow and sorrow is her and they are one and the same. This is who she was meant to be. It is always who she was meant to be. And yet. (Or: Esther becomes the fury of Sorrow.)
📺 Mastermind by BeatriceEagle (Dimension 20, Brennan Lee Mulligan, fanvid)
"We support you as a DM and as our friend, but also you're our enemy." —Siobhan Thompson
Not According to Their Fanfiction series by AgentStannerShipper (Dimension 20, Evan Kelmp/K Tanaka, 63k)
Five tropes that did not live up to the fanfiction, and one that did. Spring semester at Gowpenny, a lot of feelings, and a lot of growth. Also featuring Evan's shadow (my beloved), true jock Jammer, Sam being the figurative wine aunt friend, Evan being a Good Boy, and K being exactly as horny as canon made them.
your heart, love by ASongofSixpence (Dimension 20, KP Hob/Delloso de la Rue, 8k)
Rue learns about something special that happens to goblins on All Hallows' Eve, and has big feelings about the use of the word 'monster.'

It felt like a winter machine that you go through and then / you catch your breath and winter starts again / and everyone else is spring bound
Chemistry by Twilightcitysky (Good Omens, Aziraphale/Crowley, 122k)
Aziraphale and Crowley have been living among humans for 6000 years, but there have always been parts of the human experience they've chosen to avoid (like allergies, head colds, and having to use the loo). They've also never let hormones get in the way of making rational decisions, because they didn't have any hormones to speak of. That's all about to change.
come raise your flag upon me by trinityofone (Good Omens, Aziraphale/Crowley, 5k)
Aziraphale persuades Crowley to accompany him to Heaven, to be Forgiven. Things get...weirder before they get better.
Covenant of Salt by thingswithwings (Good Omens, Aziraphale/Crowley, 18k)
Aziraphale's hand slides down past Crowley's hip to fist his cock in time with his thrusts, and he bites again, and again, down to Crowley's naked shoulder, up to his earlobe, not meaning to be sexy, just biting like he's eating, tasting the salt on Crowley's skin, like he might consume Crowley entirely if given enough time. "Talk to me," he gasps, between thrusts, between bites, his voice shaking. "No," Crowley grits out, just before he comes.
📺 Hate Me by killabeez (Interview with the Vampire, Lestat de Lioncourt/Louis de Pointe du Lac, fanvid)
“I love you with my whole soul, and I will always love you,” he confided to me. “You are my life. I have hated you for that and love you now so much that you’ve been my instructor in loving." —Blood Communion: A Tale of Prince Lestat
Bones and Blood: A Jurassic Park Survivor’s Story by avocadomoon (Jurassic Park, Billy Brennan/Alan Grant, 10k)
Billy was still staring at him. His face looked narrow and shadowed in the spotty kitchen lighting. Alan always thought about geometry when he looked at Billy: angles and rays and points and transversals. He was beautiful in the way that math was beautiful: like an equation that was beyond Alan's abilities, too complex for him to handle. But there, nonetheless. Holding all the secrets of the universe, if only Alan could figure out how to solve him.
Extended Disconnection by lick (Murderbot Diaries, Ayda Mensah, 91k)
Dr. Mensah's perspective from Chapter 8 of All Systems Red through Exit Strategy.

A novel-length prequel to Hands of the Emperor about Kip's early years in service
A Most Restful Vacation by Quasar (Nine Worlds, Jemis Greenwing, minor pairings, 106k)
Jemis is invited to attend the investiture of the Viceroy of Zunidh, which promises to be a delightful trip with Almost No Adventures along the way.
An Officer and a Gentleman by cedarboots (Persuasion, Anne Elliot/Frederick Wentworth, 47k)
“Eight years changes a person, but not beyond all recognition. Fred Wentworth and Anne Elliot, years after a final break, find that they are more alike, in some respects, than they thought before.” (Butch4Butch AU)

Sugar in Your Hand by WerewolvesAreReal (Star Trek, James T. Kirk/Spock, 13k)
Kirk meets a Vulcan, marries a Vulcan, and apparently outrages the entire Vulcan government in one day. He's an overachiever like that.
📺 Hate to Say I Told You So by findmeinthealps (Taskmaster, Alex Horne, fanvid)
Alex Horne being Alex Horne.
home is where by oliviacirce (Ted Lasso, Trent Crimm/Ted Lasso, 6k)
“Ted learns that sometimes when you ask people what they want, you (just might) get what you need.”
in the cards by jedusaur (Ted Lasso, Roy Kent/Jamie Tartt, 4k)
Whenever he says he's not feeling anything, that's when Dr. Sharon pulls out the fucking cards. Roy can't fucking stand the fucking cards. They're plain white with plain black text, each displaying the name of a different emotion, and he's supposed to go through them and decide whether he's feeling each thing or not. It's fucking stupid, it makes him feel like a fucking toddler, and worst of all, it fucking works.
Second Nature by MoreThanSlightly (Ted Lasso, Keeley Jones/Roy Kent/Jamie Tartt, 27k)
The first time they switch, Jamie’s fucking Keeley. It’s amazing, best sex of his life, and he wonders what it feels like for her—good, by the sound of it—and then a second later, he’s looking at his own face. He’s lying on his back staring up at himself. “What the fuck,” he says in Keeley’s voice.
📺 Cockroach Motherfuckers by eruthros & thingswithwings (Multifandom, fanvid)
A celebration of all the queer characters you can't bury. Or, if you do bury them, they don't stay down for long.

Helloooo, can you do headcanons on Dazai having a strong S/O (ability wise) like nearly as strong as Chuuya? Cause isn't he a literal God lol. Thank you :]
Hewo! I had a lot of fun writing this...it almost turned out to be a oneshot :p , but dw, I managed to turn it into hcs :D
Here u go~
Thunderstruck⚡
Dazai x gn!reader
Reader has a strong ability...like, rlly cool 😎 it's my dream ability
This man is head over heels.
He loves how you scream over a cockroach but can rip people to shreds at the same time.
Since you didn’t mention any specific ability, I have gone ahead and given you a lightning ability.
Arahabaki is the god of calamity, that combined with Chuuya.
Raijin is the God of lightening. Your ability is pretty similar to His powers.
You can control the place, time and method of a lightning strike. You can also produce it on the spot and shoot it from your hands...kinda like Palpatine.
Your eyes turn arctic blue, with your hair flowing around you. You look like a literal Goddess/God.
He was mesmerised when he witnessed it in action for the first time.
You and Dazai were walking through Yokohama, observing the internal beauty of the city via small lanes and random alleyways.
Hand-in-hand, you two were chatting about how Dazai hadn’t tried the Napolitana pasta yet, despite living in a city that was rumoured to have invented the dish.
That’s when Dazai pulled you around a random corner and shielded you from the view of the road you two were originally walking on.
You knew better than to speak at such a moment and decided to observe and try to pick any signs of being followed.
Sure enough, you could hear faint footsteps come to a stop right at the corner, you two still being shielded by the corner. You both waited with bated breath, and after a while, the person went away.
Relieved, you were about to walk out of your hiding place, when a barrel placed itself on your head from behind. Your eyes widened and you froze in place. Dazai noticed the unknown presence and looked behind only to find you being held a hostage.
“Long time, Mr. Executive!”, the man holding you hostage said as he grinned at Dazai.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in prison, Ito san?”, Dazai said, offering him his own smile.
You could easily read through his façade. The smile was only a mask, covering his panic and fear. You had no experience in fighting, and Dazai was no match for this man. He had fought him earlier, but that was when he had Chuuya by his side. Dazai can come up with a spectacular and manipulative plan, and Chuuya, or his current ada partner, Kunikida, can execute it, considering their brawn. He was the brains, and his partners had always been the brawn. He can fight the occasional criminal, but Ito was a feared enemy of the mafia, who was both mentally and physically strong. He had always assumed that the mafia had caught him, and sent him to jail, thanks to the mafias feared double black, but apparently, he had gotten away, or had found a way to break out of prison.
“prison isn’t a place for a man like me; you of all people know that. So, I left! Decided to say hello to an old friend, now that I’m back.”
He moved his gun from your head, dragging it down to your chin.
“Turns out, my visit might actually kill two birds with one stone.”
Understanding the hidden meaning behind his words, Dazai tensed up. He couldn’t let him hurt you. He had to get you out f here. But how is he going to do that? There is no way out of this without either of you getting hurt. He must protect you, but what must he do?
You chuckled.
“Something funny, pretty thing?”
“Actually, yes.”, you say, “Do you know who you’re threatening?”, you smirk, your tone dangerously low and intimidating.
“You’re playing a dangerous game; Ito-san, wasn’t it?”
The man grabbed your chin, turning you to face him.
“I was going to let you go, but I suppose your naivety deserves a bullet to the head!”
You smiled, activating your ability.
A sudden jolt of electricity travelled into his body. Yelping, he let go of you. Using this window of opportunity, you kicked the gun out of his hand and pushed yourself away from him. Dazai quickly grabbed your arm, pulling you away from the man, and out of the alley. His main intention was to get you away from here. Away from danger. He hadn’t understood what had just happened, but he decided that right now, running was the best course of action.
You two turned multiple corners, crossed many junctions, and ended up at an open field. Beyond the field, a few blocks away, was a metro station. You two could head to safety from there. All you had to do was cross this abandoned field and get in the metro.
Multiple men, clad in a uniform of sorts, emerged from the shadows, circling you both.
“Thought you could run away, did you?”, Ito stepped into the circle, a proud smirk on his face.
“You will face the consequences for destroying my gang. We never broke apart, you see. All of us are back. And we will take over the mafia, defeat the ada, and control this city.”
“Good luck with that.”, you say as you let go of Dazai’s hand, ignoring his warnings to stay back. Kinda like that scene with odasaku :')
You spread your arms wide, activating your ability. Bolts of lightning shot out from your fingers, hitting a few of the men, dropping them to the ground.
The men had no time to react as you swiftly raised yourself off the ground, hovering over them, and unleashed your signature move, striking them with a large bolt of lightning from the sky.
The head of the group, Ito, activated his own ability, the ability to control metal. Multiple guns aimed themselves at you and began shooting.
You created a shield around yourself, effectively blocking the hundreds of bullets.
Meanwhile, Dazai sneaked behind the others, incapacitating them.
You continued to fight Ito, blocking his attacks, and sending a couple bolts his way, while simultaneously attacking the others. The field was a mix of bullets, sharp scraps of metal, and bolts of electricity.
At the end, Dazai sneaked up behind Ito, nullifying his ability, and knocking him out.
To say that he was surprised would be an understatement.
He had heard of an ability that controlled lightning, but this was his first time witnessing it in action.
'Heaven's Fury' was the name of your dangerous ability.
He thought it suited you very well..
You are calm and composed, but when angered, you can unleash madness upon your enemies.
You were always so elegant, and seeing you like this, using your powers and fighting atleast 20 people at once, he couldn't help but admire your majestic beauty.
Your ability gives me 'They tell me I'm a God, I'm lost in the façade, Six feet off the ground' vibes.
Dazai agrees with my opinion.
You look like a deity.
He liked the idea of protecting you, yes, but he found it so hot that you could protect yourself.
Hell, he now knows that you can not only protect yourself, but also take out an entire city on your own.
He would be much at peace now, knowing that he doesn’t quite have to worry so much about any past enemy of his taking revenge. You were stronger than almost all his enemies.
Will praise you, 24/7. He wouldn’t stop talking about it.
He wonders why you didn’t tell him, and you merely shrugged saying that he never asked.
He would brag about you to all his friends(ada members)
He would never tell anyone other than the ada members, though, as he doesn’t want anybody to do some research and find out a way to defeat you.
He prefers it to be an element of surprise and catch the enemies off-guard.
Loves watching the shocked and scared faces of those that decide to wrong you, leading to you using your formidable ability on them.
If you aren’t a part of the ada, he would definitely think that you’d be a great addition to the organization.
He would never ask you join, though. He wants you to be as safe as possible. It doesn’t matter whether or not you have a strong ability, he just wants you out of harm’s way.
Besides, using your ability can take a toll on your health too.
He just wants to see you happy and safe.
If you decide to join the ada, he will try to talk you out of it.
If you’re absolutely sure of your decision, he wouldn’t stop you.
Instead, he will accompany you on all your missions, and will ask Atsushi to come along too.
He is aware that you are extremely strong and don’t need anyone, but he will constantly worry about you, which is why he accompanies you.
Don’t get him wrong, he really loves you and trusts you, but he is just so worried.
So, don’t oppose him when he joins you, please. Poor baby is just really concerned for your health.
Will call up Chuuya and brag about you to him.
“My Belladonna is much stronger than you, chibi-kun ;p”
If you’re taller than Chuuya, Dazai will tease the hell out of poor hat man.
He'll be like,"LOL shorty XD. My s/o is both taller and stronger than you!!"
If you're not taller, it will still be hell for poor wine boy.
"I can't believe that you're weaker than my s/o! They're so much better than you, LOL"
"Shut up, bastard!"
"Pathetic chuuya.. You literally have a God inside you, and you're still weaker! LMAO"
I feel bad for chu chu :(
But, oh well, that's just them, ig :)

Dreamer File 07
Fandom: Doctor Who
Pairing: 13th Doctor x Reader
Summary: The Doctor and fam found themselves in a dangerous place. The Doctor met a former companion who is supposed to be dead.
Warning: ooc, angst, plot holes as usual, mention of violence, death, a possibility of dark!doctor.
More warning: English is not my native language and I suck at it but I wanted to write for DW so please pardon the mess.
A/N: I'm running out the fuel to write fanfic. I wanted to make a short and to the point fanfic with specific scene that I want to write but I kept driving myself with madness about how to fit the puzzle for the beginning and ending and then I ended up not writing at all. I thought about postpone posting this fic at least until I could start and finish one more fic but like I said I'm running out the fuel to write. It's weird because I finally have some time for myself due to the lockdown and for the life of me, I couldn't apply my butt to chair and write. I suck at this. Ugh!
The Doctor had no idea what happened. She and the fam were on one of their routine adventure when thing got wrong very quickly. As usual, they ran into trouble and the Doctor intended to fix it. But, of course, the random villains of the weeks were unhappy of the Doctor's interference. Next thing they knew, they were sucked into a mysterious portal.
The Doctor and the fam woke up in some woods in the middle of nowhere. With the Tardis out of reach, the Doctor had no choice to explore the woods in hope to get some help and explanation about their current whereabouts.
They saw a young man and woman from a distance and they stupidly called out to them.
"Oh, look at that. Newcomers." The woman glanced at them with a sinister smile. She got a gun and armed with knives.
"Hello, there. I'm the Doctor. And they are my friends, Yaz, Ryan and Graham." The Doctor explained once they were within hearing. "We got lost, you see, and we would appreciate it if you can..."
The woman shot at Ryan right at his stomach before replying coldly, "don't care."
Ryan looked shocked, his mouth hanging open. He looked down at his injury before he lose his footing and fell to the ground.
Yaz quickly tried to catch him and lessen his fall.
Graham is frozen, unable to comprehend what just happened. When he regained his bearing, he quickly bend his knees near Ryan.
Yaz tried to stop the bleeding but she knew his injury is fatal.
The Doctor is enraged that her companion is injured. "Why would you do that?!"
Yaz screamed at the Doctor to help with Ryan's injury. "Doctor, do something!"
Graham hold Ryan's bloodied hand as the young man looked up at him as if he want to say something but couldn't.
The man pulled out a sword from his person and grinned. "I love newcomers." He walked toward them threateningly.
The Doctor quickly used her sonic screwdriver to throw his sword away from him before returning to fuss over Ryan's injury.
The man looks annoyed but also amused. "Interesting choice of weapon." he said.
Yaz and Graham started sobbing as Ryan wheezed some more before he stopped breathing altogether.
The Doctor froze in her helplessness as she just watched her companion got killed right before her eyes.
"It's not fun when they don't run." The woman said, stopping the man. "Run, newcomers, run. The others are coming and you lot are fair game."
The Doctor glared at them coldly but when she realized what the woman is saying, she quickly grabbed Yaz and Graham to run despite their reluctance to leave Ryan's body.

The Doctor realized the woods is a place of hunting and they are the prey. If what the woman said was true, there are others, most likely armed and they won't lend a helping hand to them either.
They finally found a hiding spot after a long while. Yaz and Graham were still shocked from the sudden loss of Ryan. The Doctor walked back and forth, wrecking her mind for a way out of the cursed place.
Graham finally snapped and he said he wanted to avenge Ryan's death. Of course, the Doctor quickly tried to talk him out of it. Yaz insisted that they have to find weapon defend themselves against whoever come next at least.
They had to leave their hiding spot when they heard a group approaching nearby. The woman who killed Ryan was not with the group. But, the Doctor overheard them talking about how Maeve managed to nail one of the newcomers. Now, the Doctor know the name of the woman who will unleash the wrath of the oncoming storm. But, for now, she reign in her temper and focused to keep Yaz and Graham out of harm way.
The Doctor instructed her remaining fam to follow her and to be super quiet to get around the group. However, unfortunately, Graham accidentally missed a step and make a noise that alert them to their presence.
 "Run." The Doctor ordered.
They barely able to dodge bullets and arrows that sorta rain down on them once the group are aware of the prey within their reach. Yaz got separated from the Doctor and Graham in the process.
The Doctor is at least relieved that Yaz with her police training might be able to maneuver her way out of danger. Now, her focused is on the grieving Graham. He still wanted revenge and the Doctor know he will be reckless about it when next they meet Maeve.
However, a man managed to get the drop on them and took Graham hostage. The Doctor tried to reason with the man who held a knife on Graham's neck. But there is no reasoning with the man, the Doctor realized in horror, for the man is insane with the lust to kill.
Graham was helpless as he stared at the Doctor in fear as he could feel the knife inches away from his neck.
A shot was heard and the man was shot right on the head dropped dead.
The Doctor's eyes widened in shock at the dead man before her before looked up to see a figure in red hood a few feet behind the man and Graham.
Graham touched his neck in relief before weakly reached out toward the Doctor. His body is trembling in fear mixed with shock.
The figure in red hood put down the gun and walked toward them.
The Doctor stood in front of Graham protectively.
The figure pulled down the hoodie revealing a young woman underneath. "Come on, newcomers, let's get out of here before the rest of them come."
The Doctor's eyes widened again in disbelief. "(N-Name?)"
(Name) glanced at the Doctor in confusion. "How do you know my name?"
The Doctor look confused. "Are you really (Name)? (Name) (Last Name)?"
(Name) frowned. "Do we know each other?" she asked. "Never mind. We need to leave. Now. Follow me if you want to live." She ordered before turning to leave them.
The Doctor grabbed Graham and made to follow her.
Graham was quiet the whole way. He didn't even bother to ask how the Doctor know their saviour.
"I came here with another friend, Yaz, she got separated from us." The Doctor explained. "We have to find her."
"Don't worry, Jace and Lolo are on it. We heard that there are three of you. I told them to help out when they can." (Name) said as she motioned them to follow on her.
They arrived in some clearing when (Name) suddenly turned around and pointed her gun at the Doctor.
The Doctor and Graham back off in surprise.
"Now, tell me which group did you join with?" (Name) demanded.
 "W-what?"
"You know my name. That's meant one of the groups told you."
"I don't know what you are talking about, I have no idea what group are you talking about, believe me." The Doctor said, raising her hands in placating manner. "I know your name because we have met before. It's me, (Name), the Doctor."
(Name) froze. "Doctor..." she whispered in disbelief.
"I know I look different. I regenerated." The Doctor explained. "Surprise, I'm a woman now."
"Doctor, you know her?" Graham finally asked.
"She was my companion." The Doctor said with a sorrowful expression. "But she was lost to me a long time ago." She moved toward her. "How can you be here?"
"Prove it." (Name) took a step back, still pointing the gun at her.
 "What?"
"If you are really the Doctor, prove it to me."
"I have two hearts, you are welcome to check." The Doctor said.
(Name) scoffed. "You could be the Master for all I know."
"Ok, fair point but the Master wouldn't have companion."
"He once had a wife for companion."
"Yeah, okay, that happened too." The Doctor thought about it. "Oh my sonic screwdriver. See." She pulled her sonic screwdriver proudly.
(Name) didn't look impressed. "Tell me what was the last thing I said to you. If you are the Doctor, you would know."
The Doctor was silent for a while. "You said..."
"(Name)!! Incoming!!" A man suddenly rushed toward them with Yaz in tow.
"Yaz!!" The Doctor ran and hugged Yaz in relief to see her safe and sound.
 "Doctor!" Yaz hugged her back.
(Name) observed the interaction. The Doctor's identity is confirmed by the reaction of her companion. She stepped forward toward the man to deal with whoever coming.
The man, Jace, ordered the Doctor and the rest to hide themselves as he readied himself for a fight.
The Doctor, for once, obeyed the order and gestured her companion to do the same.
The Doctor watched in a bit of fascination and horror as she watched her former companion disposed the threats in cold blood using every available weapon on her person.
 7777
(Name) led the Doctor and friends to her group's domain. There were other people within domain, both human and alien alike.
The Doctor stood close near her fam, awkwardly trying to comfort or grieve for Ryan with them.
"Why are you lot looking like someone shot your puppy?" (Name) asked.
Graham snapped at her, told her to show some compassion, they just lost one of their own.
(Name) observed the Doctor's silent but fury expression. She knew that expression, the oncoming storm expression. She chuckled. "Well then, this is your lucky day. No one in this world stays dead for long."
The Doctor frowned. "What does that mean?"
"Right, I forgot that you are newcomers. Don't worry, Doctor, your friend will be fine. He or she will resurrected again at the end of the day." (Name) said.
The Doctor exchanged a confused but hopeful look with Yaz and Graham and they demanded explanation some more.
"I don't know much despite being here for long..." (Name) replied with faraway look.
The Doctor flinched at that but she didn't noticed.
"We didn't know where we are. We just called this world; prison world. As the name implied, there is no way out. People just keep adding, appearing out of nowhere, but we couldn't determine the way in or out. It is like we are in a some closed time loop or something. Every night the day reset and people who died today will be alive again. Found out about it the hard way actually the first time I came here." (Name) said with a sigh.
"Wait, so the people that you and Jace killed earlier and Ryan, our friend, they will all come back to life again soon?" Yaz asked for confirmation.
"Unfortunately." It was Jace who answered Yaz. "The day repeats and the hunting begins all over again. Everyday, we killed or be killed, over and over and over again."
The Doctor kept her eyes on (Name) who remained silent, crossing her arms, with a look that the Doctor can't quite decipher. "I'm so sorry, (Name), I didn't know." She whispered. Had she known that (Name) survived, her previous incarnation would have never stop searching. Unfortunately, the Doctor had believe in her death, grieved for her and moved on.
(Name) blinked at her apologies. "I know. Wasn't your fault that I ended up here. Surprise to see you, though. Never thought I would see, well, meet you again." She observed the Doctor. She knew her as a man before. It was, she dare say, a pleasant surprise to see the Doctor regenerated into a woman.
Yaz stared at the Doctor and (Name). "Do you two know each other?"
"She was a former companion according to the Doc." Graham replied. "She saved us from one of the crazy lunatics who had me at knife point."
The Doctor still stared at (Name) with almost a longing look that made Yaz a bit jealous. "I still don't know how you ended up here."
"That's because I didn't know either. I was fully expected to die that last time I saw you. But, this portal suddenly sucked me in and the next thing I knew, I was here..." (Name) said.
"That's exactly what happened to us as well." Yaz exclaimed. "Isn't that right, Doctor?"
"Yeah." The Doctor murmured softly. She took a step toward (Name). "How long have you been here?"
(Name) shrugged. "Time doesn't exactly work right here so I don't have the slightest clue, feel like it has been forever though. I have been killed so many times here during the early months enough to start to fight back. I grew tired of being prey." She said with a cold look.
"Wait, the last time you saw the Doc, you were expecting to die?" Graham asked.
"(Name) sacrificed herself to save 90 people." The Doctor said softly with almost a hint of pride and a bout of sorrow.
(Name) snorted at that. "I wouldn't recommend doing that." She said at Yaz and Graham. "It was not worth it. Never be a martyr, especially not for strangers. At the times, I thought I would be welcoming death and be at peace and shit, instead, I got this hellhole."
The Doctor flinched at that. She was feeling guilty.
Jace moved to stand beside (Name), putting a hand on her arm as a gesture of comfort.
The Doctor noticed how (Name)'s eyes softened at the sight of Jace and wondered if... But, she put a stop at that thought.
"The things we had to do to survive... We have to kill and be killed so many times we lost count. Some of the people out there are very creative in their torture and killing methods. So, we have to learn to adapt, be the predator instead of the prey." Jace replied, staring at (Name) with obvious fondness.
(Name) turned to regard the Doctor. "Right. I suggest we find your missing friend as soon as possible. I would hate for him to end up with Homer."
"Homer?" Yaz asked. "Who is he?"
Jace wrinkled his nose in distaste. "That man is a real psycho."
Graham snorted. "Thought everyone here are all bonkers."
Jace snorted. "Well, you are not wrong." He shared a grin with (Name). "But, Homer is a sadistic bastard. He is also a loner with a disarming look that could fool you into believing he is harmless. Unlike the others who left their victim of the day's bodies alone, this shit would keep them and wait them to resurrect to repeat the process again."
"You said new people keep appearing here and you saved them." The Doctor said to (Name) with a proud tone.
(Name) shrugged. "Only did it to get more people on our group. Safety in numbers and all that jazz."
Now, the Doctor's expression looked like someone kicked her puppy.
"Yup." Jace continued. "Can't let the other groups gets to them."
(Name) asked for Ryan's description to which Graham showed his picture via his smartphone.
The Doctor gazed at (Name) with a sad look. She wanted to catch a glimpse of the familiar girl she known before but she is beginning to wonder if the old (Name) has gone completely. She knew that (Name) had to adapt in order to survive in this harsh place and she can't judge her for her actions but to see the warm and kind girl she knew before turned into this cold and calculating woman is a bit too much.
 7777
The Doctor ordered the fam to stay there while she goes with (Name) to fetch Ryan. They wanted to come too but the Doctor refused to risk their life.
The Doctor followed (Name) trailing around the woods. She kept making conversation that fell flat because her former companion refused to open up with her.
"(Name), I promise you, I will get you and the others out of here." The Doctor grabbed her and made that promise to her face. "I will save you."
"Don't make a promise that you can't keep, Doctor. I knew better. I have travelled with you long enough to know the Doctor can't save everyone. At least, not always." She replied.
The Doctor knew there is truth in what (Name) said but she is determined to save (Name) at all cost. She will not abandon her again.
They were ambushed and the Doctor, once again, had to watch how (Name) killed their pursuers in cold blood. She noticed (Name) didn't falter at all and dare she says, it almost look like her former companion enjoyed the killing. The Doctor knew the people that (Name) killed will be resurrected again but the Doctor can't help feeling ill at the level of violence that her precious (Name) can muster.
 7777
Yaz and Graham hugged Ryan when he returned with the Doctor and (Name) the next day. They were relieved to finally see him, as promised, alive.
Finally getting her fam back, the Doctor can finally breathe easier and now she can focused more on the world around them. She started to interrogate (Name) and her group. The Doctor noticed the tower over towering the wood and deduced that they have to go there to investigate.
However, (Name) and the group were very reluctant to go to the tower. In fact, they almost didn't acknowledge the existence of the tower. The Doctor realized there are a huge amount perception filter surrounding the tower which make the prisoners of this world steer clear of it. She reckoned the warden of this elaborate prison resides over there.
It took some convincing but (Name) finally agreed to go to the tower after the Doctor dared her to. She was pissed at the Doctor for mocking her and took the bait.
 7777
As (Name) feared, despite making sure to travel in small group and to tread lightly, they ended up got ambushed by various groups.
The Doctor managed to garner their interest with her promise to get a way out of the prison world. "I am the Doctor. I am a time lord. I am two thousand years old. And I am the man, I mean, woman who will get you all a passage out of here. In fact, I am the only person smart enough to pull this off. All I need is your cooperation to cease fire and help to get to the tower." She said.
(Name) rolled her eyes in fondness at the Doctor's familiar action. It reminded her when she used to travel with her Tenth incarnation.
Some didn't believe the Doctor but some found amusement in her and decided to see what happen if they get along. One of them is a woman called Maeve and the Doctor recognized her as the woman who shot Ryan the day before.
Graham and Ryan were understandingly wary of her especially with the way the woman being dismissive of her former victim.
Yaz walked toward the Doctor and expressed concern. "Are you sure we should help them, Doctor? They were killers. Rescuing them and unleashing them in the real world after they got taste for murders doesn't seem right..."
"Don't worry, I will hand them over to UNIT and Torchwood to rehabilitate them." The Doctor reassured her.
 7777
The tower in question has a layer of protection. It was a good thing the Doctor has armies in her disposal to counter the tower's attack upon intruders.
The Doctor found a room with complicated machinery which she deduced to be responsible for the time loop upon the world where nobody stays dead.
There is an old man there, a watcher, he prefer to be called to counter the Doctor claimed that he is the warden. The man has some connection with the machine that causes both time loop and ensure the imprisonment of everyone there.
"Why are you doing this? Why kept them prisoners?" The Doctor asked.
"I had orders." The old man replied.
It was then Jace found a room filled with monitors. It was a live feed of each person inside the prison world, showing the life of the prisoners.
The Doctor pulled her sonic screwdriver over the live feed and realized it was broadcasted outside the prison world and to her ill feel, as some form of twisted entertainment of the galaxy out there.
It was Maeve who snapped in fury and she broke the warden's neck.
"Why did you do that? Dead within the tower is permanent!" The Doctor yelled at her in anger.
"Good." Maeve said as she glared at the dead body of the warden.
The machinery started bleeping suddenly and the Doctor rushed toward it to see what is going on. She was able to manipulate the energy from the machine to create a portal to call forth the Tardis. But, the dead of the warden as well as the manipulation of the energy caused the world to become unstable.
The Doctor realized the warden is the anchor to this world and someone need to take his place or this world will quickly crumble out of existence.
Maeve immediately threaten them to volunteer to be the anchor already. She took Yaz as hostage and demanded the Doctor to fix it so that she can get out of the cursed place.
The Doctor tried to placate her. "I will get you lot out but you have to let Yaz go. I will not have you kill one of my friend again." she said with a hint of the oncoming storm in her tone.
"Better hurry then, Doctor, like you said death within the tower is permanent. You wouldn't want to lose her for good." Maeve said with an evil smirk.
A loud alarm sounded from within the tower causing Maeve to get momentarily distracted and the Doctor moved quickly to pull Yaz away frm her while (Name) stabbed Maeve, twisting the blade, to cause her more pain before dropping her to the floor.
The Doctor glanced at Maeve's dead body and then toward (Name)'s blooded appearance with mixed feeling.
"Go. Do your thing, Doctor." (Name) said flatly.
The Doctor quickly moved back to deal with the machinery. She still need someone to be the anchor long enough for her to safely evacuate the rest of the people within the prison world and so far no one seemed to be volunteering. She can't stay as the anchor as she need to drive the Tardis later on.
Shortly after, they all heard the wheezing sound of the blue box.
(Name) couldn't help but smiled at the sound.
The tower suddenly shook in tremble. The Doctor recognized that the world is still crumbling all around them.
(Name) sighed, realizing that she has to take one for the team, despite her not really eager to be a martyr.
"Not you, (Name), not again." The Doctor suddenly said, surprising her.
Jace volunteered. "So, I have to the anchor long enough for you to get everyone to safety and then you will come and get me, right?" He asked for confirmation.
"Yes." The Doctor replied, avoiding eye contact altogether as she busied herself with the machine.
(Name) refused to let Jace to be the anchor. "No. You are not doing this. I told you not to be a martyr especially not for a bunch of strangers." (Name) grabbed one of his arms, pleading him.
"But, you are not a stranger, (Name)." Jace replied causing her to be speechless.
 "You are an idiot."
"But loveable idiot, right?" Jace asked cheekily.
A shot was heard and Jace laid death on her feet. (Name) is stunned at the sudden turn of event. She numbly stared at Jace's death body and then at the new arrival of idiot people.
The Doctor tried to diffuse the situation, trying to convince the group to cease fire and let her work out escape for everyone. She promised to give them a second chance if they leave their weapon out of the Tardis. But before she could convince them some more, (Name) went ballistic on most of them, uncaring of the injury she sustained in the process.
"Why would you do that?" The Doctor is upset with (Name) killing people within the tower.
"They don't deserve your second chance, Doctor. Not when those who deserve it, won't get it." (Name) said as she gestured on Jace's dead body.
The Doctor told the fam to go aboard the Tardis. Yaz led some of the group that come earlier with them to come in, providing they agreed to shed all their weapon aside and they did.
 "Hook me out then."
 "What?"
"You need an anchor, don't you?"
 "No, not you, (Name)."
"My choice. And it's not like you have any other volunteer."
The Doctor is silent but recognizing the truth in her words. So, she worked on her without words. After she made (Name) the anchor, she went inside the Tardis but before she closed the door, she gazed at her and said, "I will come back for you. I promise."
(Name) sighed with a tired smile. "Do your best then, Doctor."
The Doctor faltered. There is a crack in her mask. And (Name) knew then. The Doctor lies.
"I guess this is goodbye." (Name) sighed.
The Doctor looked like she was being slapped.
"It is alright, Doctor, I wouldn't know what to do with your second chance anyway. I have been a killer for so long I wouldn't know how to be normal again...or how to be the (Name) you used to love."
The Doctor knew she had to let her former companion to sacrifice herself once again but she is unwilling to let go. But time is running out and she has no choice but to abandon her again once more.
 7777
After the Tardis disappeared from sight, (Name)'s knees buckled down as she let herself fall to the ground, defeated. She knew the moment the Tardis vanished from the prison world completely. She sat there for what seemed like hours before she made up her mind. The world has stopped crumbling but her heart still feel like it is about to shatter.
(Name) didn't bother to find out if there are still anyone in this world, if the Doctor get them all to safety. She didn't care. She stood up and set to destroy the machine utterly, continuing the process of destroying this cursed world. She give herself a dead sentence and she welcomed it. She can only hope death will be permanent this time.

The Doctor had put everyone to sleep via the sleeping gas inside the Tardis. She recognized the dangers of having this many potential killers on board the Tardis and she will not risk her fam's life. She contacted UNIT and Torchwood to deal with the people she rescued and left.
She dropped the fam at their home as she said she wanted to be alone. Yaz is reluctant to leave her but the Doctor didn't give her a choice.
She stood there at the console, alone and sad and tried to come to term with what happened. She shook her head and pulled a lever on the console and moved all around the console pushing some buttons.

(Name) laid on the floor inside one of the cozy room within the tower, nursing herself a wine she found in there. She didn't like the taste but beggar can't be picky. She watched from the balcony the crumbling world outside absentmindedly.
 "(Name)..."
She turned around when she heard that voice. "Doctor...?"
There, stood in the middle of the room, an astral projection of the Doctor. She was staring at her with sorrow and regret.
She took a few step forward toward the Doctor. "You are not really here..."
"No." The Doctor said with clear regret. "I made use of tiny opening within the world you are in to send my astral projection here."
 "Why?"
 "I have to see you."
She sighed. "Doctor..." She stared at her with fondness. "Why do you made yourself unnecessarily suffer right this?"
The Doctor glanced at her sadly before replying, "because you are worth it."
"I am really not." She said. "I am a monster. I saw how you look at me when I killed Maeve and the others.... I am not the old (Name) that was your companion."
The Doctor didn't reply at that. She noticed the crumbling world outside but didn't comment on it even though she knew what it meant. She turned to look at (Name) with glassy eyes. "I am so sorry that I couldn't save you...again."
"You are saving me. Before you came here, I didn't even know permanent death is possible. Now, I don't have to be a killer anymore." She said with a watery smile.
The Doctor reached out toward her wanting to touch her before realizing she couldn't.
(Name) smiled genuinely for the first time after so long. "My Doctor... Thank you for still be my doctor even for a short a while."
"You will always be my (Name) no matter what."
She shook her head. "Some part of me wishes you never laid eyes on this part of me. I would rather you remember me as the (Name) that was kind and innocent, not this Me, this ugly version of me."
"You are not ugly. Never to me. You will always beautiful in my eyes." The Doctor said.
Tears started to fell from (Name)'s cheek as she nodded gratefully. Even if it was a lie, she was glad to hear it from her Doctor. She wanted to say she loves her and that she always will but she feel like it would be unfair to her. So, she didn't.
"You better go now, Doctor." She said as she noticed the tower is starting to fall apart around them. "I would rather you are not here for this part. Allow me some dignity."
The Doctor gazed at her longingly before she pulled a stone from her pocket. She kept her eyes on (Name) before took a step back and push the button on the stone and with a blip, the projection is gone.
(Name) smiled before turning to face her end.

The Doctor bend in front of the console. Her face is clouded with sorrow as she stared at the monitor. The monitor show the recorded feed of (Name) from the moment she first arrived inside the prison world until their painful goodbye.
The Doctor, after she left (Name) to her death, tracked down the link to the broadcast to see who set up the prison world. She found the recorded life of the prisoners instead. She took the entire drives before blowing up the station that broadcasted it. She has not found the real culprit yet but she will. And when she did, it is only a matter of time, she will make them pay dearly for taking (Name) in the first place, for taking a companion from the Doctor.
She paused the record to a face of her former companion. She touched the face within the monitor longingly, letting her sorrow and the righteous fury of the oncoming storm to wash over her again.

A/N2: Well, this fic kinda inspired by the prison world of Legacies and the tragic love between Sebastian and Lizzie so I decided to make one but with the Doctor and Reader. I'm a sucker for angst, after all. Legacies is one of my favorite witches show and I was thinking about making a DW x Legacies fusion fic in which the reader is a witch. I read plenty of DW fic on tumblr before with the reader being a witch or any other supernatural creatures and I want to write something similar to them. But, the problem is I have to write them first before posting it and it's hard I just wanna cry here.
Anyway, please leave like/comment/reblog if you like this fic, maybe? Thank you for reading till the end.
And thank you for everyone who read all my fanfiction and has leave like/comment/reblog before. You are all my sunshine.

Warriors Orochi 4 - Rant :D
[Lenghty Post - Mainly to rant]
Finished Warriors Orochi 4 (more or less the story mode). And here is what I have to fully say: I love the game a lot, can't wait to replay it with the butt-load of characters... but I wish it was more like it's predecessor.
I honestly hope Warriors Orochi 4 gets like the same love as Warriors Orochi 3 did with its Ultimate and tons of added features and DLC. I am also hoping WO3 Ultimate gets put on Steam since I dont know if I still want to use my PS3 for that and playing on my PC is easier.
I love WO4 a lot since it's fun, but things I wish they did from how WO3 Ultimate (have yet to play the Ultimate edition on my PS3) did it to which I am hoping it would receive if WO4 gets an 'Ultimate' edition.
1.) Make a Hub World. Maybe some people prefer the just menu-ing everything like what they also did in DW8: Empires, but I honestly love the interactive hub world WO3 had. It made the game feel more interesting, made the characters look fun to just walk around and interact. Bring back Hub-World.
2.) More weapon variety/Big Star Weapons. Big Star weapons were my absolute favorite additions when I played WO3. Almost always came at least with 2 versions for characters (1 of which is almost always a 'joke' weapon), they had super low basic attack but with the highest attack plus capacity that maxing it puts it on par with high tier weapons. Using them made me feel like they were a long term investment come true and made me want to play more characters rather than just stick to my faves. PLEASE BRING THIS BACK!
3.) Musou Battlefield. I mean I think that is the biggest reason why WO3 has such a big community following. The power to make your own scenario battlefields. Duh! Bring this back and other fun cool options too. Battle Arena is okay... but just not Musou Battlefield.
4.) I heard they added color changing default costumes a thing in WO3 Ultimate and honestly... hell yeah. I want that :D
5.) Actually costumes in general feel lacking in WO4. Sure they gave the 'everyday' outfits for DW characters and Kimonos for SW as DLC... but the rest got color swaps as DLC... WO3 had so many costumes, it was impressive really (they had new ones for EVERYONE, even costumes from characters' previous game versions which is good since honestly some of the characters' previous designs look so much better than their current *yes I am salty over how SW3 Oichi is better than her current look which is weird for me*). I love a fashion moment so please... GIVE. ME. MORE. FASHION! (at the very least give me the same cute costumes from SW4-II and some of the cute 3rd/4th outfits like from WO2 & WO3!).
6.) Items... are a bit of a mix case for me but I think it would interesting to have again. Items  from WO3 were more reliable than the support team system in WO4... Same with the Bond System... idk maybe I am just nitpicking here.
7.) Cut scenes from WO3 for me were more fun to watch than WO4. While WO4's were better polished and much better to look at, I just liked WO3 more since costume changes to characters in that cut-scene showed in the cut-scene so it was funner to watch (so like them wearing funny outfits in serious cut scenes were hilarious). Doubt they'll add that back in but who knows!?.
...
I will say tho that for me Warriors Orochi 4 did a lot of things right in my book and made the game still fun to play.
a.) Magic is OP as hell but fun AF! I dont care if it's too OP or breaks the game... I play this game to turn my brain off and just kill 2k+ enemies with characters who use harps, scarves, fans, and umbrellas as weapons to name a few! Let me have fun with this game! I am a little sad tho they removed R1 action attacks for people but the magic system in the game made up for it... again I dont care if it's broken... I love it so much!
b.) Unity Magic for me especially was a fun feature that replaced the Triple Action Attack. It actually makes me have an easier time farming so thanks!
c.) Removal of Wonder category and just brought it back to just Power, Speed & Technique. I dont know why but I hated the addition of the 4th category and kinda just made Technique meh... I am happy it went back to just 3 categories again with Technique getting the abilities of Wonder.
d.) Deification is amazing and I hope they consider letting others be deified as well in future installments... or even similar to DW Strikeforce/Multi-Raid 2 where they all get cool 'Fury'/'Awakened' like forms as just cool costumes. I just love the cool addition of Deification and the costume changes that come with it. Again I just earn for more fashion!
e.) The new characters are fun as hell to play! The new Gods like Athena and Odin are so cool! If they ever make an Ultimate, I hope they add in more characters like NEW GODS! GIVE ME HADES, PERSEPHONE, OTHER NORSE GODS OR EVEN TRY TO GET EGYPTIAN PANTHEON INTO THIS. Also more mythical Japanese/Chinese Mystics plez! I also hope they consider bringing back some of the guest characters & or even new ones! (Have Yoshimitsu or Talim or people from DOA come... heck get some Fate characters!!!)
...
Again, WO4 is a fun game but I can't help but compare it to WO3 that just had a better flow to it. Also the story seemed more put together back in WO3 but WO4 was good too tho. Idk... I guess I just really miss playing WO3 but it's not PC available (yet) so I am not really settling with WO4 since I do enjoy it... just wish I had both tbh. Maybe if I can get a PS Vita or its emulator version I can satiate my thirst to play WO3 Ultimate but for now WO4 is good and it will make me happy for a long time.
Also praying Warriors Orochi 4 gets like an ‘Ultimate’ Edition and adds more content/dlc/etc.

N'Pressions: How to Train Your Dragon 3
Tumblr media
Considering this year is like 80% remakes or sequels (maybe 90% but Nocty can’t math) there are very few films falling into that category that I have been genuinely excited for. And unfortunately Toy Story and Frozen aren’t high on my list of must see movies mostly because I feel that Toy Story should have stayed with the shorts and specials while Frozen is just…it’s okay but not really something that has stuck to me. Admittedly DreamWorks has always kind of a mixed roster of films for both good and ill. I do appreciate that they do try to toy outside the box as opposed to Disney and Pixar that have kinda felt safe over the last decade even if DW bombs it. The Dragons series has often been one of the most beautiful look and epic franchises of the studio even if it often feels like its Shrek who’s the face and Dragons (and Panda to an extent) are the little brothers that pull more work but aren’t really the standard the studio reaches for (looking at YOU Bee Movie).
Anyway Hidden World is the final film of the Dragons trilogy and is a mostly satisfying conclusion. I am not saying like there is giant Green Death sized plotholes or anything, but the journey felt like there could have…should have been more to it. Anyway, the plot is that Hiccup is now chief and is trying to balance responsibility between being the leader and saving dragons from hunters and enslavers. Of course his idealistic concept of humans and dragons living together in harmony is hitting snags since the village is getting overcrowded with dragons and it making them a bigger target. I don’t fault Hiccup too much for this as he wants to do what is right between the two races and kind of brushes off legit concerns from others. As if on cue, dragon hunters hire a top notch mercenary named Grimmel who has a hate for Nightfuries. And I might as well get this out of the way. There are quite a few comparisons at least for me between Dragons 3 and King Fu Panda 3. Both protagonists have to learn what it means to be a leader/chief/teacher, have side characters who don’t really serve the plot a whole lot, and kinda forgettable villains that had a lot of potential to stand out but don’t. And share a connection to someone the protagonist cared about but is now dead. Don’t get me wrong, I get what they were trying to go for-essentially a Hiccup who killed the Nightfury without hesitating and while isn’t physically strong like the other Vikings has the strategic knowledge and tool arsenal to get the job done. Basically an Alternate Timeline Hiccup in a way that Drago was a Hiccup who used force and intimidation instead of empathy and compassion to train dragons. And that is not a bad concept to work with. Except he was largely forgettable for me. Heck it’s been years but I will remember Alvin the Outcast, Dagur, and Vigo. That is not to say that Grimmel doesn’t push Hiccup to his limits physically and emotionally; hell when he has Toothless entrapped Hiccup’s self-worth practically goes off the New Berk cliff, but I actually had to look him up to remember his name.
And there is the side crew of other dragon riders. Again it’s a mixed bag. The best in the bunch is definitely Astrid who can both kick tail and be Hiccup’s emotional support when she feels she needs to. I’ve mentioned this before with my Trolls series review, but I appreciate how they’ve both built up and complement the relationship between these two. Astrid is the warrior who sometimes needs to stir up Hiccup into action or confidence and Hiccup is the strategist who will pull Astrid back when he feels like she’s going too far. Admittedly I rolled my eyes at the romance in the first film (then again same for Trolls), they have actually did go and show why these two are meant for each others and is handled a lot better than Panda or…She-Ra. Yeah sorry DreamWorks, I keep taking that shot at you, but only because I know you’re capable of doing better. The others…I sweat to Nox I don’t know why they are here. At least in the 2nd movie they were off on a separate mission to track down the dragon hunters while Hiccup was investigating the mysterious ice spewing beast and had their shining moments; but here…not so much. And what the Nox is with Snoutlout hitting on Hiccup’s mom? Who thought that was endearing or funny? Yes, Snotlout was always an arrogant asshole with daddy issues, let’s face it, but at least he was tolerable. Even the twins who’ve had funny moments in the series annoyed me. And then Fishlegs, don’t get the baby gag either. Also, as I’ve said before, they don’t really acknowledge the series. Heck you didn’t necessarily need to make new charqacter models. Maybe have Hiccup and the team receive a letter or something from Dagur or Heather saying they were attacked and just barely escaped and then have Grimmel strike Hiccup’s home to prove a point, but still. I get that now everyone necessaily had access to Nickelodeon or Netflix, but you could like say release the series on DVD when you put this out for Home Video? No? For something big on continuity, that was kind of miffing. And don’t worry, Digimon Tri, I WILL get to you someday. Don’t think I will ignore that slight.
But let us get back to positives. If there is one thing that DreamWorks has had a strength in with one or two exceptions, it’s the animation. I love the varied designs of the dragons, the dragon armor, and the new locations. Granted we really don’t see much of the Hidden World and it doesn’t really serve much to the plot otherwise being a catch all ending with Hiccup and Toothless going their separate ways to be the leaders their tribes need. Speaking of Toothless the dialogue-less interactions between him and Bright Fury are totes adorable and even sweeter than Wall-E and EVA. Also even if death, its neat to see how much of an influence Stoik had on Hiccup. Maybe I am reading too much into this but in the flashback when Stoik is talking about the Hidden World and how he wants to find it and seal it up so humans and dragons don’t have to fight anymore, suggests that maybe he took his wife’s ideals to heart after he saw her being snatched up by Cloudchaser that he wanted to end things a bit more passively compared to the first film where he wanted to find the dragon nest and raze it to the ground. Makes you wonder that over time, constant disappointment and death made his hopes of fulfilling some aspect of his wife’s wishes just fizzed out. Hell it would have been interesting to see Grimmel mock Hiccup saying Stoik thought like Hiccup did once and look where it got him. That might have given some more credence to his character or hell have some desire of twisted vengeance against Hiccup and Toothless.
Overall the film is still an enjoyable conclusive adventure even if it doesn’t end things with a bang and pulls a Bye Bye Butterfree on us (yes I cried!). Still I am pretty satisfied with how things ended and pray to Nox they don’t milk this like a certain other franchise. I know about Kung Fu Panda: Paws of Awesomeness but at least the premise of that actually makes sense for a continuation and no I am not paying for an amazon prime video service. I am still having trouble with Crunchyroll for Nox sake. That and there really isn’t much forward you could go with the Dragons franchise. Maybe a spin off with other characters as the focus with Hiccup and team cameoing? Hey I’d be down for that. But as it is, I’d be cool with it if they left it alone. I’m Noctina Noir and I should go and find a way to fit my dragon toy because I accidentally broke it.

Full Avengers Infinity War Review (Broken down into spoiler free, mildly spoilerish, and extremely spoiltt[after the page break dw] sections)
Spoiler-Free:
Initial thoughts: what. the absolute. fuck. How can one movie tear my soul apart like this?? And the end credit scene?? Holy shit so many mixed emotions I’m having trouble processing this holy shit what the fuck
After calming down slightly: there has been a clear change in the tone of marvel movies as they moved from their angsty teen goth phase to their wine aunt I don’t give a fuck phase. I went into this film thinking the tonal shift between comic relief characters and more angsty characters would have been harsh and abrasive but for the most part it was actually very smooth, it gave us a more complex look at otherwise two dimensional characters and added a bit of lightness to an otherwise heavy film
The back and forth between different groups of characters till their inevitable union at the end was smooth and kept the plot moving forward at a reasonable pace
The pace was actually so fast, but not an unfollowable fast, it felt as if the movie somehow morphed time in our world, what felt like half an hour to me was actually the entire duration of the movie
And holy shit the lighting!! The cinematography!! The CGI!! It wasn’t dark and hardly viewable even on the big screen! There were so many beautifully lit scenes(albeit there were some murky dark scenes that reminded me of the old avanegers movies) they really took a page out of Thor Ragnorak and Black Panthers book because the fight scenes (of which there were many) were so incredible and dramatic and full of emotion!
But honestly, so much of it was shocking and unexpected that there were moments where it didn’t feel even remotely real in the out-of-body experience type of way.
Mildly spoilerish but no real details:
The trailer actually threw us some curve balls. I generally avoid trailers because I believe they give away too much but the few stills that I did see were actually very misleading and as I’m writing this I’m thinking that they might actually be hints to the events of Avengers 4????
There was so much loss, with such a huge cast and such a daunting and powerful villain (that was teased for like 13 movies) it was completely inevitable but each loss hit so hard it’s hard to process it. And there are characters that we still don’t know the fate of and it’s killing me that I have to wait an entire year for the next part.
Related side note: you know the Russo brothers are sick of mcu’s bullshit when a character literally says “no resurrection this time” after a death jfc I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time
FULL SPOILERS LIKE IM GONNA GO INTO SPECIFIC EVENTS OF THE MOVIE(be warned I get incoherent bc I’m still so emotional):
Holy. Shit. Literally wide cut to the opening scene where thanos has literally murdered HALF OF ASGARD and in the first five minutes he’s murdered Loki (see: above reference to no resurrection) and heimdall (there goes MatPats theory about the soul stone) I’ve never had a movie shake me to my core this quickly. Before heimdall dies he uses his final moments to send hulk back to earth where he spends the rest of the movie as banner bc hulk is throwing a teenage temper tantrum and banner has erectile dishulktion like bitch get your shit together when did hulk become poorly timed comic relief.
Skipping forward a bit because I’m not gonna recap the entire movie; when the guardians find Thor in the wreckage of the asgardian ship it was honestly the best thing ever. Drac literally describes Thor as a cross between an angel and a pirate all while fat shaming quill oh my god it was amazing and I’m so incredibly sad we lost him
SPEAKING OF HEARTBREAKING DEATHS PETER PARKER YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!
The way he clings to tony at the end and just keeps saying he doesn’t want to go oh my god that absolutely broke me
And then there were the simpler deaths like Bucky who just says “Steve” EHICH IM PRETTY SURE THIS IS THE FIRST TIME HE SAYS STEVE SINCE BECOMING THE WINTERSOLDIER HOLY SHIT MY EMOTIONS
Holy shit I can’t explain in words to you the emotions I felt when t’challa reaches for Okoye and says “this is no place to die” then his hand just crumbles away along with the rest of him and the rest of my heart (SIDE NOTE BLACK PANTHER DID SO WELL IN THE BOX OFFICE HOW THE HELL ARE YOU GONNA KILL OFF THE LEAD?? DOES THIS MEAN NO BLACK PANTHER 2??)
and dear god help me the end credit scene how the hell are you gonna kill off Maria Hill and Nick Fury in the fucking END CREDITS???
There was literally a collective gasp in my theatre as Fury started fading away
Buttt the captain marvel reference at the very end!!! Our girl carol danvers is gonna be in the next avengers!! (We need her they killed off so many female characters lord give me strength to overcome this adversity in the face of lack of diversity)
OkAy coming back from all the death let’s talk about the fact that throughout the film Thor calls Rocket “rabbit” and never once gets corrected??? It was honestly one of my favourite things
And Thor trying to relate to Gamoras fucked up family by telling her about his and quill getting jealous it was so cute I loved their dynamic.
Vision and Wanda’s relationship felt so natural, their chemistry was fucking fantastic and their final scene together where Wanda gave in to the inevitable and had to destroy the mind stone and vision along with it holy shit that entire scene was so incredibly heart breaking with the way vision kept saying it’s alright over and over again till his final moments. They had a chance to be a normal couple living happily in Scotland away from everything, they could had had it all and it was torn from them so savagely.
And as I’m writing this I’m realizing that none of this makes sense. How could they kill off half the cast especially so many fan favourites and so many characters whose contracts don’t expire anytime soon?? So on tooo:
Theories:
Okay so why would doctor strange give thanos the time stone in exchange for Tony’s life? Why would he give up the thing that he has sworn his life to protecting and essentially sentence billions of beings to save the life of one that was not guaranteed to survive? None of that makes sense unless the one out of 14 million alternate futures he saw involved all of this happening and then somehow being reversed??
At the end of the movie we see a burnt out gauntlet implying that it can no longer be used but what if the individual stones can still be used? What if they’re still able to turn back time and bring back those they’ve lost?
This theories got a bunch of holes and it definitely wouldn’t make sense to bring back the entire roster but after a quick google search Holland, Pratt and the rest of the guardians, Boseman, and Cumberbatch all have marvel movies coming out in the next few years so really nothing is real death is a lie and I feel nothing 🙃 .
