So i got a package today from a dolly firend Nitr0_bunny over on instagram, and omg.

They really outdid themselves with how much they sent. They make amazing clothing with a very colorful alt look akin to j-fashions like decora and Kawaiicore. They also have alot of 90s nostalgia throw back. They sent quite a few wigs as well.

The jacket still needs a zipper, so ignore that (they asked me to finish it as they wanted to get onto other projects, and i was good with that, considering it was free.^^)

Uriel got the invader zim shirt and some cute bat pants. They do amazing with the fabrics as they custom make their own fabric prints.

I gave Lyca one of the wigs a cute, messy fur wig style. She's also wearing one of the sets. omg look at how cute 😍

Keran stole the lisa frank bitch shirt but ya know it fits her all to well. The pants are super cute i think the print is a brats inspired lux look.

There was a bunch of colorfull rainbow clothes so I had to dress Rosiel in them! I love the MLP Stuff.

Even ouija got some clothes she's so hard to clothe, so I'm happy she finally has pants. She also gets the rest of the wigs well, and she will be sharing with lyca.

The snow was starting to pile up, John ( John Cena that is ) was warm by his fire but his soul, was yearning for more. He felt so empty after his break up with Homer Simpson but he knew that at the end of the day, if they were really meant to be, Homer would finally accept the Christmas spirit of things and get in that holly jolly mood gosh darn it! 

John sighed as his sipped his hot coco, if only he could see that sexy hunk of man just one more time, its his only christmas wish!! 

John sighed again, it was late. He finished his hot coco and decided to go to sleep for the night, in his now empty bed, just like his heart. 

As he drifted off to sleep he thought he had heard something almost like the familiar sound of reindeer hooves. 

“It’s probably nothing” he said as he turned to the side that once belonged to his lover. 

Later during the night he heard a loud nut.

Cena jumped out of the bed, 

“ WHOS NUTTING IN MY HOUSE?!” He said as he rushed down the stairs, down to the fireplace where his christmas socks hung!! 

However it wasn’t his socks that were there!!

You need to become his partner. His right hand man. With your beautiful smile and kindness you could do anything. Wait- did he just- no of course not that was just his imagination. Of course he had to figure out a way to get you to agree to this so he did the only thing he could think of and asked you to have coffee with him.

It was the middle of summer. You felt as though you were literally drowning in your own sweat but you had to get to that dang coffee shop. Zim had asked you and now you had to face the dreaded question. Was this a date? Should you be wear a nice dress or something more casual. Questions kept flooding your mind as you made your way there.

The wind blew and hit your face giving you some relief as you made it to the front door of the coffee shop. Once you opened the door the smell of coffee flooded you senses. You look around for zim, finding him sitting in a corner, his eyes instantly meeting yours. He gave a smile that looked very forced and a bit creepy but you'll let it slide for now. You hadn't had thought to think about if he were planning something. You knew he was an alien. His attempts to take over the earth were kinda bad but you didn't care to much if he did take over. He's got a weird charm to him that you like so he alright in you books.

After grabbing your coffee you make your way over to him. "Hey zimothy! What's up?", Zim look at you with a face that could only be described as saying 'wtf did you just call me'. "MY NAME IS ZIM NOT ZIMOTHY YOU SMELLY HUMAN. I HAVE SOMETHING I MUST TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT AND UOU HAVE TO AGREE BECUASE I WILL TAKE NO OTHER ANSWER." Well. How could you say no to that. "What is it?", Zim took a deep breath in and said "I AM HORRIFIED WITH MYSELF THAT I MUST ASK YOU THIS BUT humanIneedyoutobecomemypartner". HOT TAKES ON THE NEWLY LEAKED SV POKÉDEX

I didn’t mean to see the leaks but I’m wayyy too curious oops. I’m trying to judge these evenly because the pictures we have of the unannounced Pokémon are low quality but I will review this when the game releases!

This post obviously contains spoilers so be warned!!!!

Overall I think the starters are pretty cool! Meowscarada owns my heart and soul I love it’s design soooo much. I never cared if it was bipedal or not and although I would’ve preferred a badass bipedal lynx I’m so happy with what we’ve got (ITS A MAGICIAN GUYS!!!! A MAGICAL CAT!!!). Quaquaval is also really cool, especially the colours omg. I just wish it was a pirate or sailor because as far as I’m aware we don’t really have a pirate inspired Pokémon (also we’ve had two skinny water types in two generations, huh). Skeledirge is probably the most disappointing. A lot of people were correct in predicting a skeletal ghost crocodile but the execution of the final design is just awkward?? I hope when I see it in game my opinion is changed because Fuecoco deserves the world.

The regional(?) birds look kinda boring (they actually look kinda like Tailow and Swellow) but I’m comparing them to how cool Corviknight looked so it’s a little unfair. Their names are super cool though

Nymble and Lokix are not my favourite regional bugs but I guess I just prefer cuter bug friends

Squawkabilly are interesting. When they were snuck into one of the trailers I hoped they’d evolve into a proper Elvis-like bird so I could name one Kass but nope it’s just got different colours which I guess is kinda cool?

Overall opinion: yeah this Gen isn’t great. I wasn’t wowed by all the designs like how I was when SWSH came out. My favourites are Meowscarada, Quaquaval, Dachsbun, Dolliv and Baxcalibur and that’s pretty much it for the new Pokémon shown in the leaks. Gamefreak missed out on a lot of cool design opportunities and instead chose the lazier route (and I’m usually not one of those Pokémon fans that scream at Gamefreak for cutting corners but I will admit it’s kinda shit)

OMG YES THE EPISODE WITH MURKYS BACKSTORY WAS A GAME CHANGER. pretty much my entire career of interaction with fictional media I've been obsessed with things like villain origin stories from before they were bad and/or redemption arcs, which is a big part of what draws me to "the axolotl reincarnates bill in a human form as cosmic punishment" au's. and i had a very similar experience with video rental stores! also having my parents scour the internet for episodes on piracy sites full of malware ridden popup ads. lately i have been heavily considering getting a tattoo of rainbow herself, you're definitely pushing me towards booking that appointment! 👁️🕳️

I'm like, all het up over the injustice. His mom punishes him for using colors and it messes him up so bad he spends the rest of his life trying to clean up colors, and then AGAIN his mom punishes him for GETTING RID of colors? without ever once recognizing the part she played in the man he's become?? My first ever Favorite Movie was Return of Jafar, where (uhhh spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it in the last 29 years) Jafar's henchparrot Iago slowly comes to reassess his villainous associations, switches sides to Aladdin's gang, and (briefly) sacrifices himself to save Aladdin & friends; and like, as a preschooler I was obsessed. I've been into villains and redemption arcs and villains-befriending-heroes stories ever since. I'm sure Iago is a contributing factor to why I'm writing a Bill redemption fic today.

Follow ur dreams, especially if it's something you've loved a LONG time. I wanted an Invader Zim tattoo since high school, finally got one almost a decade later, and several years later still am pleased with it—but I knew I'd be pleased with it because of how long I'd consistently wanted it even when IZ wasn't my active hyperfixation. If a story has been part of you for years and years I think getting a tattoo to honor it is really cool! (Just... don't do what I did and get an allergic reaction from one of the ink colors lmfao. It's possible to get tested at a dermatologist for allergies to common tattoo ink pigments and i def shoulda done that, I recommend that if you have the opportunity.)

I've literally only watched the movie

Ok idrk where to start with the show but I'll just info dump and rant about bits because omg there's so much 😭

FIRST of all, I'd love to give an award to the person that gave jhonen Vasquez, the author of "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" a chance to create a nickelodeon show haha I find it absolutely AWESOME.

I'd also like to say that I'm actually a big fan of the new designs in ETF, it gave dib a lot more expression and added a lot more freedom to animate him in different angles! You can find the IZ pilot on YouTube, the difference between that and the original series design is astounding! Bro looks like a skinwalker in the pilot 😭

Also I really really REALLY hate ZADR so like sorry not sorry 💀 ZADF is the way to go with pairing (dude zim is about biologically 16-25 or smth dib is 12... Bro 😭) irkens age about 10 times slower than humans, every 10 human years is about 1 irken year in aging, however it's been shown that irkens have one extreme weakness: pH weakness.

As we can see in a couple episodes, zim is extremely sensitive to the rain and is shown to burn! It's not because of the water though, it's because of the high pollution in it! Remember IZ is set in a dystopian earth.... To be honest not too far away from ours 😅

Tbh they're not that strong anyway, many irkens don't live that long even though they can live for AGESSSS, due to their brittle bones, but eh at least they're really smart.... As a species.... Looking at you purple.... Lol. Actually red was a lot smarter in the series, but ig in the movie zim drove him to insanity so much so he's just as much of a man child than purple lollll but I love them both xx

Back to shipping lmao, I ship tallest red + purple together SO CUTE THEY'RE HUSBANDS YOUR HONOUR , off topic I also wanna go a bit into the way irkens even start to exist!

All irkens are specifically created artificially, their genes are modified to suit what they're going to do in life (pilot, invader, ect.) This means that zim was genetically created to be an invader but once they found out he was annoying as shit they just whooshed him off to earth PFFT

That's enough infodumping on the irken biology, I swear if I'm wrong on any of this I'll cry (jk I won't but yeah haha)

Finally finished this!! If u ever see any interviews of jhonen being "rude" to his fans, dw it's just sort of a persona, he's a very sarcastic and straight forward person and he loves his fans :] it would be a dream if I could meet him someday!!

sooo i finally watched invader zim enter the florpus!! i was gonna wait until i finished the comics first but then i saw that apparently clembrane appears in the comics after the movie?? and i didnt want to risk getting spoiled bc yknow. the movie is when he First Appears so i thought id watch it before picking the comics back up again.

anyway, here r my thoughts on the movie down below!!

it was....pretty good!! there were a LOT of positives for me, but ultimately one major thing that i really wish could have been done better (but we'll get to that in a bit). again, i liked it, i thought it was a good movie! im gonna list all the things i especially liked followed by the things that kinda bothered me a bit so bear with me lol

positivies:

i know this is an Unpopular Opinion, but i actually rly like the art style!! i still think the show's designs r better, but i rly RLY liked how vibrant and smooth the animation was in this film. plus movies based on animated series already tend to have a slightly different art style anyway (the spongebob movies and the mlpfim movie come to mind) so i didnt mind the change. add to that the fact that this movie came out 17 years after the shows cancellation and its no wonder that jhonen vasquez's art has changed since then, plus i'd imagine there was a much bigger art/animation team this time around. anyway ofc i rly loved the part where they Enter The Florpus (lol get it) and go thru all the different art/animation styles, i loooovee stuff like that and i think every animated production should do smth like that at least once solely bc i love it so much. for me

clembrane is rly funny and i love him. im glad hes here now. dib and gaz have TWO dads

PROF. MEMBRANE WAS SO FUCKING COOL????? like omg i was NOT expecting him to be so badass in this???? when he shot the giant fucking Laser Blast out of his arms and wiped out all those robots my jaw DROPPED i was in SHOCK!!!! he was hiding all that power this whole time????? DAMN no wonder hes considered one of the most important scientists on earth

the humor was really fucking funny as always w iz LOLLLL there were multiple points that made me laugh out loud. special shoutout to the callback they made to mortos der soulstealer where zim and dib are yelling at each other and zim keeps going "WHAT????" ASKDJALSKDJ thats one of my fav jokes from the show so im glad they did that here

gir aka my fav was SOOO CUUUTEEE his stupid little peace song was so funny and adorable, i love p much everything he does in this movie as usual SDKJFLDSKJ gir my beloved

even if i have some issues w it (which we'll get to shortly), i DO like seeing that dibs family really do care for him, particularly prof. membrane. hearing him say he was proud of dib did make me smile

im not entirely sure how i feel abt the tallests canonically dying, but i do think its a funny way to kill them off and end their story. like.....ofc they die bc theyre too entitled to steer their spaceship. what else would they die from SAKFJLSDKJ

all that being said, there was one major thing that kind of bugged me a bit, as well as a few minor nitpicks.

negatives:

starting off with my biggest issue, and this might be a confusing one for some, but let me explain: in my opinion, compared to the show, this movie felt just a bit too.....sanitized? "feel-good"-ish? ....happy?? now just hear me out. a large part of what made invader zim so appealing, especially to that older tween/young teen crowd (many of whom fell into the emo subculture), is the fact that, compared to other kids cartoons at the time and even today, it was a very mean-spiritied, cynical, pessimistic show. the main protagonist is a villain trying to take over the world. his rival is the show's antagonist, so audiences may find themselves rooting against him even tho hes trying to save the world. gaz is on no one's side but her own and frequently bullies her brother and does not care what happens to zim. and it works!! thats a key factor in why so many people, myself included, like the show. it isnt afraid to have unhappy/unsatisfying endings, and there are very few "happy" moments (aside from gir, ofc, who is a fan favorite for this reason; his happiness in spite of the dark world around him is a great source of irony and genuine enjoyment). and i feel like this movie lacks a lot of that cynicism and bitterness from the show, yknow? like....i like dib and i want him to succeed, but part of his appeal is knowing that he never will, or at least not in the way he wants. we want dib's family to recognize him, we want gaz to show that she still loves him, and we want prof. membrane to say that hes proud of him. but.....invader zim is not really the type of show. i understand that this is ofc a movie for kids, but again, part of what made the show so appealing was the fact that it was so dark WHILE still being for kids. the closest thing we get to any kind of "mean-spiritedness" is the tallests deaths, which, while deserved and executed in a funny way, only happens at the end. idk i just felt like this movie was kinda....playing it "safe" compared to the show it was based on yknow. but thats just my opinion idk i swear im not one of those "WHOA look at how DARK and EDGY this show is!!! that proves that its NOT FOR KIDS" types, i just feel like the overall tone was a bit lacking compared to the source material

NOW onto the nitpicks!! these werent rly major flaws that interfered w my enjoyment of the movie, just stuff that mildly irked me (lol get it). for starters i wish tak was there :( i know she was originally planned to be in the movie but they had to cut her for time constraints which is fair. still i miss her so much. tak my beloved come back to me

another nitpick, but pretty much the only other thing that i didnt like abt this movie and its SUPER minor: i dont like how frequently gaz's eyes are open throughout this movie?? ALKSJFSDLKLKDS I KNOW THATS A WEIRD THING TO COMPLAIN ABT LMAOOOO i swear it doesnt actually bother me that much but it was kind of distracting. the reason gaz's eyes are almost always closed is to add to that angry, apathetic look she always has; it conveys her personality. when her eyes DO open, they're large and cute, which is a nice contrast to her normal appearance and makes these scenes in the show/comics have more comedic impact. here, they're open a bit too frequently for my liking, and i think it made me perceive her character differently. i think she should have been grumpier LOLLL but that kind of ties back into my first point

but errmm yeah!! despite the block of text i just wrote i still rly liked this movie!! in terms of continuations to the show, however, i think i prefer the comics, although again i have not finished reading them. i just feel like theyre closer in attitude to the original show and have a lot more interesting story ideas. but again, this movie is not bad!! there were a lot of things i rly do like abt it!! im pretty easy to please tbh.

overall id say this movie has like.....7.5/10?? maybe?? its still a good movie and id probably watch it again if given the opportunity. theres a lot of cool things about it and i did enjoy myself watching it. thats just my Onion tho, lmk what u think abt it if youve seen it :) just pls be civil if u disagree w anything i said, i like hearing other ppls perspectives on things!!

Hoomans do shady schtuff, after all.
