A concept:

Genya develops chronic pain after the nichevo'ya attack. Is this a little bit of projection from someone with chronic pain? Yes, but just consider.

Alina tracing Genya's scars every opportunity she gets because she knows Genya still feels the pain and it soothes her.

Zoya commissioning a specific kefta for Genya that tightens around her torso and one of her arms, because the pressure eases some of the pain.

Genya with a cane. That's it, that's the bullet point

Both Alina and Zoya taking time off of their duties (post-ROW) when Genya's having a serious pain flare up, so they can care for her.

Genya constantly tries to power through her pain, even when what she needs is rest, because she's not ruined damnit! Maybe 3 in 10 times, Alina can convince her to stop, at least for an hour, but the other 7...Genya refuses to listen.

It's at that point that Alina calls in Zoya to talk sense into Genya. Zoya attempts to gently talk Genya into resting, but usually that ends in Zoya literally dragging Genya by the hand to Genya's room and ordering whoever's closest to cancel all of Gen's work for the day

Both Alina and Zoya giving Genya massages. Because pain makes you tense, so when Genya's pain is really bad, all the worst scarred places tense up. Zoya massages her back and shoulders, while Alina will gently massage her arms, hands and head

Said massages don't get rid of the pain, but they do practically turn Genya into a puddle. She usually ends up falling asleep during them. Alina and Zoya usually just smile at each other fondly when that happens

Zenyalina Headcanons

Because why ship just Genyalina, Zoyalina or Zenya when you could ship all three?

Also, spoilers for both the books and the show

I imagine it's a Genya and Alina get together first, Zoya resolves to just being their friend, then they make a move on her situation. Why Genya and Alina first? Because no way in shit are either of them gonna make a move on Zoya alone and Zoya has walls the size of Everest.

That said, when it's just Genya and Alina together, Zoya still gets away with flirting with them by saying 'eh, I can either flirt with both of you, or neither of you and neither isn't an option'

Everyone assumes, partially because of the above point, that Zoya is the biggest flirt of the three and that she can easily fluster the other two. Publicly, that's very much true.

In private though? Genya is so damn smooth. All she has to say is the word 'darling' with the right inflection and Zoya blushes. Alina is deeply amused any time this happens.

Speaking of Alina, she such a habit of tracing any and all scars her girlfriends have. She starts doing it with Genya, as a way of soothing the redhead's pain, but she quickly starts doing it to Zoya as well

(Zoya pretends to roll her eyes and fake complains, but it puts her to sleep about 8 times out of 10)

Genya refuses to let anyone else Tailor her girls (not that they need it, sometimes it's just called for)

Zoya can, will and has attacked someone for insulting Alina (post books: for losing her powers. Post show: for killing the Darkling) and Genya for killing the king

All three of them will do literally anything for each other, but Genya and Zoya have a habit of spoiling Alina: gifts, offering to do things for her ect. They both see it as trying to make up for past actions (betrayal and bullying)
