Caves are not Prompto’s favorites. He hates enclosed spaces; hates the feeling of the damp air. Knowing that no one has been down in these caves in a long time, it doesn’t sit right in him either. Returning to the same caves a few times over for hunts isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Like now - they’re back in Greyshire Glacial Grotto , on a hunt given to them by Wiz, someone they could not turn down.

Daemons are the worst enemies, because when you kill them, more pop up in their place. The ‘Hydra’ effect, as Ignis has put it on more than one occasion. Yes, they can drop valuable items, but they can also steal them away. Prompto has had more than one ribbon stolen from him by the nasty creatures, making him loath these hunts more and more. But all it takes is one suggestion to make him see the beauty of these caves, giving him a little bit of a hold on his fear.

“Prompto - let’s go this way.” Noctis grabs onto his upper arm, and pulls him back towards one of the pathways. “Ignis - Gladio. We’re going to check out some of the areas up here. I think we may have missed something on the way down. We’ll meet you down at the bottom in a little while.”

“Of course, Your Highness.” Ignis nods his head. “Come on, Gladio. I’m sure we can find an area we’ve yet to cover down here.”

The Prince’s Shield turns to him with a stern look on his face. “He’s in your care, Prompto. Anything happens to him-”

“Got it, big guy.” He holds up his hands, watching Noctis climb back up the way they’d just come with his peripheral vision. “I won’t let anything happen to the Prince.” He gives a little wave, and then heads after Noctis, walking fast to catch up to him quick. “So, what’d we miss back here, Noct?” Prompto looks around, his light bathing the area in light, no daemons popping up.

Noctis grabs his hand, and pulls him towards a pathway off to the side. “We didn’t miss anything.” Prompto looks at him, trying to figure out what the Prince means, when it hits him.

His eyes on Noctis, he watches as the Prince leans his back against the wall. Taking his cue, he sinks down to his knees, jowls beginning to secrete more saliva as he thinks about what he’s about to have put inside of his mouth. “Are you trying to tell me you’ve got an itch right now, Your Highness?” He teases his lover, enjoying the shy smile that appears on Noctis’ face, one he’s been enjoying a lot more since they’ve been on their road trip. “You need to expel a little energy?”

“Me too!”

They regroup with the other two, who are fighting a group of Imps when they rejoin with them. “Nice of you to show up!” Gladio shouts, Prompto stepping back to use his guns, while the Prince warps into the fray. “You find anything?”

“A phoenix down!” He returns, falling backwards with the kickback on his weapon. “Not too shabby!”

“Not too shabby.” Gladio returns, holding his hand out to help lift him up. “Here’s hoping we won’t need it on this run.”

“Same, big guy.” He looks over at Noctis, and sees him extinguish the last daemon. “Same.”

It doesn’t take them long to find the monster that Wiz had sent them to find, and soon the sweet smell of the wetlands fill their nostrils as they make their way back out into the bright sunshine. Prompto looks over at Noctis, who returns his look with a smile, the four getting onto their chocobos to head back and turn in this hunt for some sweet, sweet cash.

Nordic Banking Giant Nordea Opens Blockchain Trading Platform to More Clients

The platform will purportedly help address trust deficits extant in current cross-border trades made by SMEs. Patrik Zekkar, Global Head of Trade Finance and Working Capital Management at Nordea, explained:

“Almost 60 percent of the SME’s said that they have to make advance payments so there is obviously a sense of insecurity surrounding cross-border trade. This is unfortunate, not only from a liquidity standpoint, it may also lead to companies refraining from trading and not growing.”

Through the we.trade platform, users can select certain events within a smart contract that will trigger a payment to another party.

We.trade is a joint project of 12 different banks including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, KBC, Natixis, Rabobank, Santander, Société Générale and UniCredit, and is based on the IBM Blockchain platform. We.trade began its first live operations in June 2018. Nordea joined the project in 2017 and soft-launched it for select customers last month.

Nordea is a major private bank in the Nordic region. As of 2016, the firm had a total equity of over 32.4 billion euro, with a net income of 3.7 billion euro that same year.

While Nordea is accepting of blockchain technology, it takes a hard line against cryptocurrencies. In January 2018, the bank banned its employees from owning bitcoin (BTC). Following the announcement of the ban, Danish finance and workers’ rights figures threatened legal action.

The bank also shuttered the account of Norwegian cryptocurrency exchange Bitmynt AS in December 2017. The founder of Bitmynt sued Nordea, but lost his case in May 2018.
