Tumblr media
gojo satoru is a man whose proficiency knows no bounds. he is a force to be reckoned with ushering a new era of powerful sorcerers and curses due to his possession of both the six eyes and limitless technique. he could do almost anything as one might expect and everything came naturally to him. he never had any doubts about himself, but then came along you.
satoru was a natural when it came to flirting, but he was not accustomed to the rejection he faced in his early days when you would ‘let him down easy’– it was nothing short of disastrous, always ending in banter between you two. yet somehow you had your wicked ways of making him chase even though all you two did was flirt. after several attempts to woo you and you finally stepping up, one thing led to another now here you were, co-parenting two kids with the man you once swore you’d never be with. satoru was 100% sure that he would be yours for infinity, but it wavered on this particular day.
satoru was on a little errand run with tsumiki whom he had entrusted with pushing the trolley around as he scanned the list you had made for tonight’s dinner and activity. she was a young and incredibly happy girl who was much friendlier than her brother, megumi. when satoru adopted the two, tsumiki had taken a liking to him immediately whilst megumi took a liking towards you so he had taken her on the trip. it had been going well, with them doing the final grocery run after spending what felt like hours picking out the perfect wreath for the front door, however tsumiki’s question stopped him right in his tracks.
“do you love y/n?” she asked, a little curious look decorating her features.
“that’s a silly question. of course i do!” he uttered, scanning the wreaths with his eyes picking out the perfect one because quite frankly, he didn’t know how to react.
people naturally assume that growing up from a family who viewed him as an ornament and coddled him that he would be a closed book or lacking in social skills but his first few years at jujutsu tech proved everyone wrong: he was not just a pretty face who could get away with just that. in the end, his love for others was his weakness and tsumiki had brought up something that satoru had failed to anticipate. what did she see that satoru couldn’t and was that even possible?
she took the wreath from his hands and put it into the trolley bringing him back to the present, “how do you know you love y/n?” she paused, and tsumiki must be sadistic for making him suffer like this, “what does it feel like?” she asked, looking up at him.
satoru looked down at the child, surprised by her questions. he paused for a moment, considering how to articulate such an answer to a complex question. was it that hard to believe that gojo satoru was capable of loving someone?
while satoru would never admit it at the start, he needed megumi and tsumiki more than they needed him. after suguru’s defect, they especially reminded him that sometimes blood wasn’t all that important when it came to the people you loved. he loved them but in a completely different way than he loved you. a love so unequivocal that it was impossible for people not to know how truly and deeply in love satoru was with you, so he wasn’t sure where he went wrong but perhaps it wasn’t enough.
“well,” he began a thoughtful look on his face, “loving someone is different to everyone. i guess i can’t really explain it other than a warm, fuzzy feeling inside and it makes you feel like everything is right…” he replied, her eyes lighting up with understanding, “you care for their happiness the most, that you’d even share your favourite candy.” he chuckled with a playful glint in his eyes, trying not to sound too sentimental.
“so you feel warm and fuzzy when you see y/n?” she looked up curiously at satoru.
he chuckled, ruffling the child's hair, "yeah, exactly. now come on, let’s finish this quickly so we can go home. get something for yourself and your brother.” he winked to which tsumiki nodded eagerly, seemingly satisfied with his answer as she rushed down the aisle finding something to bring home.
the atmosphere between satoru and the girl was no longer tense but satoru’s mind was swirling. he was reflecting on the innocence of the question as he took control of the trolley now, finished with his chores for the day. he even went as far as buying you something too but tsumiki had inadvertently planted a seed of doubt in his mind and now satoru was spiralling. did he love you enough? was his warm and fuzzy feelings strong and genuine, or was it something he convinced himself of after everything that went down? the simplicity of her question left satoru questioning himself and for the first time in forever, he is unsure of his relationship with you.
Tumblr media
“i thought i told you that they can’t stay up late.” you spoke while washing the dishes. satoru could only lightly chuckle as he rinsed the plate, putting it on the drying rack. he knew you only meant well but he enjoyed seeing you like this more than he had expected: seeing you so worried and being such a caring person towards them. it was not like he had forced you to take care of them, it was through your own volition that you practically raised them.
“come on…” he drawled a little pout on his lips, “they said they didn’t want to decorate the tree without you tomorrow.” he reasoned, knowing that the two children in the living room were your true weakness and that just as much as you do for them, they’d do for you too. the way a simple sentence morphed your furrowed brows into a look of gratitude proved his point.
“do they actually want to decorate the tree with me or is it only because you bought them sweets today?” you accused.
“they’re much older now,” he reassured with a tone you doubt has any good intentions, “besides, i think it’s fair if we stop their ban on sweets, don’t you?” he asked with a simple hip nudge and you roll your eyes at the gesture.
he was happy with this, with how things were going in your life right now, in fact he couldn’t get enough of it. his request was simple, but you wasted no time immediately retaliating, “you just want to freely eat your sweets and use them as an excuse.”
“what little faith you have in me!” he gasped and you have to stifle a laugh, “plus, they’re kinda scary when they don't get their way.” he joked, leaning back on the counter with his arms crossed to get a better view of you who had just finished washing and drying your hands after dinner.
“how the higher-ups trust someone like you on those missions, i have no idea. i wonder how they would react if they found out you can’t handle two children.” you said, flashing him a smile. mentioning the higher-ups in the conversation made satoru’s blood boil but it had been tamed when he caught that little shake of your head combined with your smile. he had been contemplating the nature and depth of his feelings for you but tonight had proved that it was all a fluke– just seeing you was enough to remind him that nothing about loving you could ever be doubted, because loving you was as natural as breathing.
satoru leaned down to meet your eyes as you turned to face him, “sweetheart, if you want me home instead of on missions, you could just say so.” he smirked– a signature gojo satoru look that you couldn’t tell if you loved or hated.
you narrowed your eyes at him, “i hope you get put on more missions.”
“you wound me.” he grunted, a hand over his heart feigning hurt but you knew that he was joking.
“you can take it.” you hummed, eyebrows scrunching as he stared down at you lovingly with a smile etched across his face.
there have been so many moments between you, satoru and the kids that blossomed with joy– something that felt lost in a world rife of evil– but you forget that you’re both still fairly young, thwarted into roles of guardians. you loved satoru since you were teens and seeing that this was your first relationship ever, it is only normal to feel insecure, and normal that you have doubts that satoru could ever truly love you.
while staring at satoru your mind can’t help but swirl with thoughts and he catches on immediately, perceptive as ever due to his six eyes and well, being gojo satoru. he sees it in your contemplative sighs that he had been hearing throughout the week, in your crafted smile, the way your shoulders are tensed and your jaw clenched: he knows you’re feeling some way right now because even your eyes don’t have their usual spark. your name rolls off his tongue so naturally, as if he was born to say it, as he reaches up to brush his hand across your cheek.
“what’s on your mind?” he questioned with a tilt of his head, thumb caressing your cheek. to him, the signs are as clear as day that you were troubled with thoughts of something and he wouldn’t rest until he found out what was going on in that beautiful mind of yours.
that warm fuzzy feeling intensified, secret moments between the two of you that the young girl was unaware of. it’s times like this you’re grateful that satoru is so in touch with how you felt most times and you can’t help the relief that settles in your heart when you realise you were so lucky to have him in your life, “it’s nothing,” you shook your head with a smile plastered on your face, “just… thank you for everything you did the other day,” you said, genuinely appreciative of his contribution to megumi’s birthday dinner, “i know you don’t think that he likes you but he really does look up to you.” you admitted.
“my charms aren’t all that bad.” he hummed, a proud nod as you snorted at his holier-than-thou tone.
your eyes closed at the soft contact of his lips on the crown of your head, warmth spreading all throughout your body during the cold winter month. you crave him and his touch, and you’re lucky that he hasn’t been put on any missions, specifically requested (he threatened the higher-ups knowing his status) to stay home with you and the others for just a couple of weeks. a small sigh left his lips as he started moving his hands away from your face up over his blindfold, the loss of contact made you pout slightly. your hand came over his, stopping him with a simple action, “are you sure you want them off?” you whispered, your voice dripping with concern.
“i want to see you.” he said, without an ounce of hesitation in his response.
“i don’t like the migraines it gives you when you have them off.” you retaliated as you shook your head resolutely. he wants to listen to you, seeing how much you cared for him and laid your heart out for him. the love you had for him was overflowing and he did not know how he got so lucky.
“i can take it,” he insisted, voice a mix of both amusement and affection, “besides, i’ll endure any and all amounts of pain just for you.”
“after that declaration, i better not hear a complaint out of you.” you said, smiling up at him as you begin to unwrap the blindfold yourself. your delicate fingers moved the bandages around his head, undoing the white bandages. the gesture made satoru relax in your touch as you pulled them away from his face. being able to let his guard down after suguru had been difficult but you were a rare (and lucky) case.
once the bandages are undone, you can see that he’s wincing and squinting, probably due to the oversensitivity. adjusting to his surroundings, you brush his cheek with your thumb and his eyes flutter open to have a look at you, “hi beautiful.” he breathes out, utterly captivated by you.
you mirrored his look, squinting as you leaned forward with a smile wanting nothing more than to kiss him until–
“what’s taking so long?” tsumiki yelled, surprising you and making the two of you jump from your spot. if satoru was masking his pain before, he wasn’t doing so now as he screwed his eyes shut and you feel extra protective of satoru now that his blindfold was off. he was extra sensitive to loud surroundings so when she came in shouting the two of you with his guard fully down, you knew satoru probably was still adjusting to having his blindfold off with the kids.
“did your brother put you up to this?” you asked.
“we were just wondering where you two were.” she replied bashfully.
“i told you they were kissing.” megumi groaned from behind her and if you weren’t embarrassed before, you wanted to dig your grave now that he had said it out loud.
“actually, we were rudely interrupted.” satoru complained, narrowing his eyes at megumi. living with them, you know how much megumi truly looked up to satoru but moments like this question why they were always at each other’s neck
megumi rolled his eyes, “have some manners you two,” you ordered, making tsumiki chuckle a bit, “i’m sorry for making you guys wait so long.” you apologised and you see megumi nod slightly at you.
“are you two in cahoots?” satoru whispered in your ear but you pushed him away jokingly. megumi was first to leave the room and tsumiki followed suit, but before satoru joined the two, you reached out grabbing his hand, “i know you said no presents this year, but-” you said, handing him a wrapped rectangular box.
“you said no presents for christmas.” he blurted out, confusion taking over his features.
“well, i sometimes doubt if you ever listen to me,” you looked up at him and you would be right because satoru had bought and wrapped your gift already, “just think of it as a very belated birthday present then.” you smiled at him, anticipating his reaction to your gift.
he opened the box carefully and he could see an engraving on a case, and his heart sunk. he knew he was in love with you, but was it possible to love you even more than he already had? he picked up the case and took out the special glasses he wore when he went out instead of the usual blindfold.
“i remember you said you needed new ones after they broke.”
“correction, when megumi broke my other ones.” he corrected. you rolled your eyes at him, and give him a light peck on the cheek, “thank you.” he spoke before you could make your way to help the children.
“don’t break them again, i’m not made of money satoru.” you warned and situated yourself on the floor, sitting cross legged as you peered over at what the two had been up to when you and satoru were in the kitchen. tsumiki was unboxing some tinsel and megumi was taking care of the ornaments. to be honest, you weren’t sure when you became one of those families who went full out for christmas. the only things you ever really did was presents or stockings and having dinner together. you were overlooking the process, not really helping, or rather not knowing how to as you had never really had a tree let alone decorate one.
“you’re not going to help?” tsumiki questioned, with a tilt of her head as she began to decorate the tree.
all the attention is turned to you now as you shake your head untangling some of the lights for the tree, “i mean, i’ve never really celebrated christmas with a tree and it’s for you guys right?”
“that’s sick and twisted!” satoru gasped, slumping down right next to you with his new sunglasses, “so you mean you’ve never had a christmas tree?” he exclaimed, and quite frankly you don’t really see the big deal.
“i wasn’t blessed with being born into a family like yours.” you teased and he took serious offence to that, not because he was offended by your comment but more so your nonchalance.
“well, anything you want to do for christmas?” megumi asked, putting some of the ornaments on the tree. he always had an artistic perspective and you were glad he was putting so much thought into where each one went.
“i’m not going to be home until late at night, but i guess i’ve always wanted it to snow big enough that i could build a snowman.” you shrugged, looking at the kids.
“that’s impossible.” megumi groaned.
“how are we going to get it to snow?” she exclaimed.
“exactly. it’s alright,” you reassured as you stood up from your spot, “as long as i’ve got you guys, that’s all i could ask for.” you winked at them as you helped them get to the higher spots of the tree. satoru sits there watching as you now start to help the two decorate the tree and decide to help out. you are too distracted to see that his mind is swirling with ideas– he is determined to make your christmas a little more special and he has some ideas up his sleeve that he can’t wait to use.
Tumblr media
you feel the exhaustion of staying up late last night settle deep into your bones when you’re on your way home from the mission. it wasn’t like you didn’t get enough sleep, you got just the perfect amount but not being home today to celebrate with the kids and satoru kind of made your heart sink. it had always been the four of you the entire day and sometimes occasionally with the others but being away from home, away from them had taken a big toll on your heart.
you wiped at your eyes with a yawn as you began making your way down the path to your house. the cool winter night was in full swing, trees moving slightly in the small rush of wind that passed by along with the small sprinkles of snow.  you took a deep breath and rubbed over your arms as you looked up at the sky. you weren’t lying when you said you wanted snow, it had always been a dream of yours to see falling snow, and enough that it might be enough to build a snowman, it was just something that hadn’t happened in a long time.
you reached the house but the eerily quietness and lack of light concerned you, were they watching a movie or something or did they go out and not tell you beforehand? you brushed off your worries, unlocking the door walking into an empty house. the whole room was dark, nothing could be heard and your heart was stuck in your chest, stopping at just the mere thought of not being completely alone right now.
you could hear some whispers and instinctively your hand went up, charging up your cursed technique as you hear some shuffling until an array of fairy lights went off above you, decorated meticulously going up the stairs and some nice garlands all around, warm lighting and while you’re staring at the lights, you don’t notice the three standing right in front of you.
“welcome home.” they shouted, and you swear you had felt that much relief in your entire life.
“i could’ve hurt you guys!” you exclaimed, a hand over your heart. the soft vinyl record you distinctly remember shoko gifting you after seeing you eye it last christmas playing from the living room, and you couldn’t help but smile.
“well that defeats the whole point of a surprise if i told you, right guys?” he said, and it is only now you realise that he has a santa hat on with the other two in ugly sweaters. you know megumi would be less than happy to be dressed in this right now but you assume he did so for you and couldn’t help the way the corner of your lips curved up at the sight. this… this is what you loved about your little family, and you knew it was wrong to call it a family– the two kids aren’t yours, and you’re not married to satoru but this moment, combined with the cute late night you shared with them just the night prior confirmed that you were all closer than that and how much they loved you.
“you did not need to do this for me,” you sighed, a little overwhelmed by how well decorated everything was. you hadn’t even noticed the holly, the bells, candles, and a bunch of other festive decorations– they really went all out. you wonder just how they pulled it all together but then you remembered that satoru would stop at nothing when it came to his gestures, “and you definitely did not need to drag them into this.” you added, kneeling down in front of them so that you could hug tsumiki and as you stood up you looked at megumi and ruffled his hair despite how much you know he hated when satoru did it, when you did it, you weren’t met with the same grumpy huff.
satoru gasped, “hey, these two were asking if you’d like them and i pointed them in one direction okay?” he defended but as you looked down at the two they were shaking their heads as if to refute his words, “don’t listen to them. they did it because they love you just as much as i do.”
respectfully, you hated satoru but not in a way that was malicious but for always making you feel like the luckiest person on earth. for being friends with you back then when it seemed like the world wasn’t on your side, for allowing you to stay in his life after losing his friend, for letting you take care of two of the most beautiful children ever. he was one of the sweetest people you ever knew and you doubt any gift or gesture would be enough to make up for the man that he is. without realising you had tears stream down your face, and you bring your hand up over your face to cover it. you weren’t usually the type to cry over something so trivial but here you were.
“i can’t believe you made y/n cry on christmas.” megumi complained, trying to lighten the mood as tsumiki’s mouth dropped.
"y/n's fine!" satoru reassured and you can’t help but laugh as you wiped away some of the tears. before you could speak satoru went over to you, engulfing you in a hug, “you better not apologise for crying. there’s nothing you need to be sorry for.” he reassured, rubbing circles on your back. you nod profusely, trying to keep yourself calm in front of the others (not that they’d never seen you cry before) before pulling away from the hug. you stared into his cerulean eyes, out and free from their usual blindfold or glasses, “it’s nice to see you my love.” he whispered, meant only for your ears.
you chuckled, pressing your lips into his cheek before turning around, “how about we open some gifts? how does that sound?” you smiled and their eyes lit up, brighter than the lights all inside the house and they scattered off like little mice to the living room where the tree was, with quite a few presents under the tree (courtesy of satoru’s money but joint in terms of thinking of what to get them) and you followed behind. satoru threw his arm over your shoulder as you took a seat on the couch as they got ready to unwrap their gifts.
“are you hungry?” he asked softly as they started unwrapping their gifts, the one in the penguin wrapping paper which satoru had wrapped up himself.
“i had something to eat on the way back.” you reassured and he nodded.
the two had spent quite a while opening satoru’s gifts. you noticed that the presents were some things the two children had mentioned once a very long time ago and were quite surprised that satoru had hand picked these gifts himself without asking you for help. you knew that he noticed every little detail about the people in his life but it made you wonder if he got you a gift after you said not to. you wouldn’t be mad if he didn’t get you one and vice versa.
“i got you that one.” you spoke, trying to contain your excitement as megumi picked up your gift, wrapped in some candy cane paper. you watched as he unwrapped it, revealing a digital camera and you hear tsumiki exclaim, excited for her gift now.
“a camera?”
you sat up, moving away from satoru as you leaned forward, “i know there aren’t that many pictures of you guys around the house so i got you that so we could start printing some out and putting them up.”
megumi couldn’t hold in his gratitude any longer bringing you in for a hug, “thank you y/n.” he said, and you hugged him back, kissing him on the cheek. satoru was going to make a comment about how he also wanted a hug after all the gifts he gave but it was a special moment shared between the two of you and he was not going to ruin the moment.
as megumi was setting up his camera with satoru’s help, you turned to tsumiki and watched as she unwrapped her own gift, she looked up from the box to you with shock all over her face, “y/n…” she whispered, voice cracking, “i can’t take this.” she said, handing you back the box.
“hey.. it's okay,” you reassured, lightly pushing the box back in her direction, “it’s a gift tsumiki.”
you watched her pull out the necklace, the stunning small heart shaped engraved with her initial on it but that wasn’t all you got her. after observing the necklace and helping her put it on, she opened a box that contained a letter, telling her of how much you adored her with special keepsakes from some memories you shared throughout the year. you have never seen her so happy and when she hugged you, you catch the stare that satoru is giving you– absolutely entranced by how much you loved them. a simple flash takes you off guard as megumi takes his first picture on the camera.
“how about you guys get your coats, i have something to give y/n.” satoru stated and they ran off with excitement in their bones at his plan. he had filled them in but they weren't convinced he could pull it off.
“talk about a successful night.” you chuckled, picking up the wrapping paper and throwing it in the bag that satoru was holding.
“get changed.” he spoke, taking the bag from you and now it’s your turn to be surprised again.
“what? where are we going?”
Tumblr media
after getting changed, suspicion arising from his sudden ask of getting changed. you walk out of your room seeing everyone in their coats, scarves, and you watch as the children begin to walk out first leaving the two of you alone.
“what are you up to satoru?” you questioned, furrowing your brows.
“since you thought you could cheat your way around buying me a gift,” he replied honestly, which took you off guard, “i thought it was only fair if i got you some things as well.” there was a small box in his hand, and you took it from his hand. you held your breath as you unwrapped the paper to see a box tied with a ribbon. you opened the box, revealing nothing but a sheet of paper.
you definitely weren’t the ungrateful type but you were expecting something else like maybe a ring, a necklace or something else but as you examined the paper you looked up at him with your mouth wide open. it was a receipt of something you had been eyeing for a couple months but nothing you could excuse spending money on. you had been an avid lover since you were young and it was always your dream to have one of these.
“satoru.” you said, honestly starstruck at his gift.
“you have been eyeing that for so long,” he reasoned with a simple nudge of the shoulder, "merry christmas."
“i can’t accept this.” you shook your head, giving it back to him but you know it is relentless to deny his gifts especially after you pulled your little secret gift on him the other day.
satoru gave you a stare and pursed his lip, “you are keeping it. end of discussion.” he smiled as he started to wrap a scarf around you. satoru had always looked good in winter clothing, a scarf tucked around his neck and due to his infinity, he was never cold but still dressed to the occasion with his designer brands. he was so handsome…
“and since you’re not saying anything i'm assuming you don't like it?” he taunted. you told your brain to make a coherent sentence or at least move so you don’t make a fool of yourself just looking at the gift. you stared up at him, you used your free hand to push the scarf down from the bottom half of your face, "you know i thought you weren't going to get me anything?"
satoru had never stopped at any words faster than he had those, "what?" he answered with a shaky voice.
you scoffed holding his hand in yours, looking anywhere but into his eyes, "i thought you might do a whole 'i'm your gift' thing," you admitted, a little ashamed you had such little faith in him, "i guess you do love me."
"y/n..." he uttered, "if i have ever made you doubt i love you then i have failed as your boyfriend," he spoke and you could feel your whole body warm at his words. "you are everything to me even if you and megumi are in cahoots and pray on my downfall." he said and you shoved him. he winced lightly at the push and smiled as he pulled you close to him once more, eyes moving down to your lips then back up to your eyes.
“that was really sweet of you.” you uttered, looking up at him.
“sweet enough for a kiss?”
“unless you make it snow, i’m not kissing you.”
“i think i deserve just one…” he teased as he leaned closer to you.
a hand suddenly grabbed yours, tsumiki's gloved one, and once again stealing that moment between you and satoru, "y/n! didn't you hear me?" she gasped as you saw the wet snow on her coat go from crystal into a wet drop.
"what happened? is megumi okay? are you okay?" you asked, hand brushing over her face as if to check for any injuries.
"it's snowing!" she exclaimed as she made her way back out.
you looked over at satoru baffled but you could just see him smile at you mischievously and you run out and to your surprise, the snow is pouring down from the sky and you now know that your christmas wish has been satisfied. looking up at the sky, you put your hand out as the snow falls into your hand and you chuckle even though you are freezing your ass off.
the children began throwing snowballs at each other and one hits you at the back of the head and you turn to see all three of them standing there staring at you. they all point at gojo before you decide to pick up some snow for yourself throwing it at him back, thankful his infinity was still down.
you truly appreciate satoru doing his best to make you happy because it was all you ever wanted. he got a snowball in the face before falling down on the floor, and all of you chuckled at him landing on his back as he began to sit up, snow covering his whole back side and all in his hair.
you knelt in the snow and began to make the snowman you've always wanted to during christmas with the help of the two and when you're done you notice him standing at the front porch just staring as tsumiki started doing snow angels and megumi's two wolf shikigami joining him in the snow. you don't know when he let them out but you just smiled as you approached satoru, "what are you doing here?"
"just admiring you," he complimented and you shake your head, "did i do okay?"
you stare at him in bewilderment before moving to press a kiss to his cheek, "you did well satoru. more than that if possible."
he smiled cheekily and you move your hand to drag him back into the snow, "come on..." you hummed as you tried to pull him away from the front porch but he refused to move and you stare at him with a tilt of the head, "what's wrong?"
"you said you would kiss me if i made it snow.” he recalled, hand on his chin as he tried to refresh your memory.
“how the hell did you manage to make it snow?” you snickered but he didn’t look like he was joking. you don’t know how he managed, he would never say but you shook your head, “sorry babe, i don’t think you can control the weather… it is quite unpredictable.” you shrugged, giving him a fake guilty look.
“it’s a christmas miracle!” he yelped with his smile that you know and have grown to adore so much and you follow his gaze to the mistletoe above your head, "you know the rules." he seethed trying to seem nonchalant.
"you're an idiot," you laughed before holding his face in your hands, tiptoeing a bit before pressing your lips to his. you pulled away and brushed his lips with your thumb a little, "i love you satoru, always."
he could only pull you back in for another kiss, smiling as he did so as the kids exclaimed in disgust and horror at the sight. "i love you y/n. here's to many more years with you." he whispered when he pulled away. it was a christmas you will never forget and one that tsumiki and megumi will also never forget, dramatically reminding you that they were traumatised from your little kiss.

ONE — MAYBE I COULD FIX HIM ?
Tumblr media
with the week you're having, you don't have it in you anymore to deal with anymore bullshit and take it out on your asshole of a roommate gojo satoru (3.8k words)
content. cheating (we don’t do the cheating), named ex: hiroto, shoko is an extremely good judge of character, geto suguru the man that you are, gojo is a bit of an asshole, reader goes off at the end (rightfully so) <33
Tumblr media
Whoever said that if you do what you love, you'll never work another day in your life was a liar. Sure it was a well-meaning sentiment and while it filled your soul with some semblance of hope on some days, it was the main reason you were struggling with your degree and drowning in work.
So much for dreaming big…
“What’s got your panties in a twist?” the girl questioned. The smoke from her cigarette created an odour that permeated the air as you let out a sigh, leaning back on the wall.
“That shit’s gonna kill you one day.” you muttered moving your head toward the cigarette in between her fingers as you turned your attention to the scene in front of you, waiting for her to finish.
“Make sure I have a nice funeral.” she chuckled before puffing out a cloud of smoke as she pulled the cigarette away from her mouth. When you didn't laugh at her comment, she just stared at you. Your eyes were closed and breathing a little jagged as she observed. Did you think she wouldn't notice?
Ieriri does not reveal much about herself, but everyone that was friends with her knew she was deathly loyal and cared for her friends in a unique way. She put the stick up to her mouth inhaling as she spoke, "You look like shit.”
“You know how my afternoon lectures are.” she sighed.
She put out her cigarette in the ashtray bin and tucked her hands into her pocket. She was not at all convinced by your story.
“Hold it Missy.” she demanded and of course your feet stopped in its tracks before her, “Tell me what’s wrong now.”
“I’ve been hearing things about Hiroto.”
You don’t think you’ve met someone that hated Hiroto more than your best friend herself. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as you mentioned your boyfriend or as she called him ‘he-who-must-not-be-named’. She crossed her arms over her chest and sighed, her lips pulling into a pout. She always had a thing for the dramatics.
"What else is new? Hiroto is a scumbag."
"Ieiri!" you scolded, frowning at her choice of words.
She scoffed with a shrug before she linked your arms in hers and started walking toward the cafe. You had no idea what she had against Hiroto. He was the most popular guy in your university, and he was the one everyone wanted to be with, but it came as a surprise when he chose you. He had eyes for you, and you couldn't understand why anyone would want you of all people so he asked you out one day and you didn't have the heart to say no. Even if you had liked him at the time, which you didn’t, you still couldn't have said no, it would have been an opportunity wasted. He wasn’t the nicest guy but you would say he treated you well so you defended him every time.
“I still don't understand what you see in him.”
You smiled faintly, “As much as you doubt him, he really does care about me."
You could tell that Ieiri didn’t approve. She never made her opinion on him a secret, and you don’t expect her to start now.
She rolled her eyes again and sighed, "Yeah, well you should really find someone better, like a certain someone."
It was your turn to roll your eyes at the thought of who she was referring to: a certain white haired roommate of yours.
“I hope you’re not trying to suggest who I think you are?” you stated as she gave you a sly smirk before shrugging.
“Have things with Satoru been better?”
You paused, contemplating on how to respond as you both walked into the cafe. You turned your attention to the menu as you stood in line. Your eyes scanned over the pamphlet you received when you walked in as you also looked at the assortment of baked goods and pastries.
"I still can't quite figure him out." you muttered as you stared at some of the menu items.
Her curiosity was piqued as you said this, already knowing what she would order as she stared at you now. "What's he up to now?" she asked.
When you got to university, you opted to follow your dreams and your heart and while you looked forward to finishing your degree, reaching your dreams and goals was expensive, which was something you had known as a teen. It explained why you had to get a job that definitely does not pay minimum wage and why you had to room with Satoru Gojo, as per Ieiri’s request, just to be able to do what you love.
At first, you had thanked Ieiri for convincing the prestigious Gojo Satoru to be your roommate at the start but when he moved in, you were less than grateful.
Gojo Satoru was a scion of a wealthy and successful family making him the epitome of privilege: rich, handsome, and effortlessly at the top of his class without ever needing to study– he pretty much had everything handed to him on a silver platter.
The first few months were turbulent, to say the least. Gojo acted like a spoiled prince, which was not surprising, always expecting things to be done for him and showing little regard for your personal space or boundaries. Arguments were frequent and inevitable but you shouldn't be complaining, he was the one paying most of the rent.
Entitlement dripped from his every pore but then something shifted. With you trying to assert your own space and independence against his behaviour and actions, it was as though he had picked up on your growing frustration and decided to turn over a new leaf or whatever.
It started with small gestures- he'd clean up after himself, occasionally ask if you needed anything from the store, and even helped out with chores around the apartment. These moments, though rare, caught you off guard. You couldn't help but wonder if it was all an act, a facade he put on simply because you were sharing a living space. Deep down, you were convinced that the 'nice' Gojo was just a pretence to keep the peace.
Yet, there were times when you couldn't ignore the fact that he seemed genuinely concerned about you, though these moments were fleeting– hidden beneath layers of sarcasm and his usual arrogance.
“He is just utterly unpredictable." you sighed as you put a hand over your eyes in frustration.
"Sounds like Satoru." she chuckled.
“I don’t know, it just feels like he’s nice to me because I’m friends with you.”
Shoko raised an eyebrow, a hint of concern in her eyes. "Are you saying he's being fake around you because of our friendship?"
"Yeah, sometimes it feels that way. Like he's just putting on a show."
Shoko's lips pulled into a small frown, her eyebrows knitting together, "That doesn't sound like him at all. Maybe he's just trying to be friends with you."
You had been so focused on the topic at hand, you hadn't realised you were at the front of the line.
You shrugged, "It's probably nothing.”
"Stop thinking about Satoru, you’re holding up the line." she scoffed as she smiled at the cashier.
You gave the worker an apologetic smile before turning to the person behind you, "Sorry, about that."
After ordering your favourite drink and some pastries, you approached a small table to sit. “I don’t know. I mean I guess Gojo and I are friends but still, I’m a bit suspicious.”
“I don’t think he would do something like that for my sake.”
"It just feels like you're trying to get him on my good side, I wonder why that is." you hummed with a tilt of your head, raising your brows at her.
"I think my best friend just deserves someone better." she shrugged with a pout.
"And Gojo is 'someone better'?" you scoffed.
Her hesitance was telling and you could see the gears shifting in her head, "That's like asking if apple juice is better than orange juice."
You rolled your eyes at her and looked around the café. The coffee beans alongside the soft humming of the machine, muffled speaking, jazz that played through the speakers really defined the atmosphere. Perhaps this place would become a regular study spot if they nailed just how you liked your drinks.
“Thank you for coming with me by the way.”
“No problem.”
You had a small smile on your lips as Ieiri decided to fold the receipt she had in her hand into origami, your eyes leisurely scanned over the cafe's charming layout but then, as fate would have it, your heart suddenly felt like it had been gripped by an icy hand, causing it to skip a beat.
The cafe that once felt spacious now seemed to shrink around you, constricting your senses. Your gaze, once idly roaming the room, had fixated on an all-too-familiar figure.
There, amidst the warm, cosy ambiance of the cafe, sat Hiroto. He was not alone. He was sitting across from another girl, their faces close. A rare smile was etched across his features, who was she to be able to make him look at her like that? He had never looked at you that way…
Maybe it was a friend?
Ieiri, perceptive as ever, noticed the abrupt change in your expression. Her eyes followed your gaze instinctively, and when she locked onto what you were seeing, her face transformed from one of carefree enjoyment to sheer disbelief and anger.
Their smiles were flirtatious and you could feel the creeping feeling of fear settle in your bones.
They were completely engrossed in each other, oblivious to the world around them as they leaned in for a kiss. Definitely not a friend.
Ieiri was right. He was a scumbag.
Your mind couldn't quite grasp what was unfolding before your eyes, reality not even seeming real for a second.
Confrontation was the last thing on your mind. You didn't want to cause a scene, not here, not now, even if every fibre of your being screamed for justice.
Shoko's fingers tightened around her origami creation, crumpling it as her anger flared up. Her eyes locked onto the two with an intensity that could have scorched the room.
She had always been vocal about her disdain for him, and this seemed like the perfect moment to let it all out. Without hesitation, Shoko started to push her chair back, her intention clear: she was going to confront Hiroto, give him a piece of her mind, and let the whole café know about his deceit. To berate him for everything he did to you, everything he did that you were too blind to see. You sat there in silence, your heart heavy with disbelief and betrayal but instinctively your hand reached out for hers. You shook your head ever so slightly, silently pleading with her not to make a scene.
“We can't just let him get away with this." she whispered back, her frustration growing by the minute.
Shoko's anger was palpable, and her lips quivered with the words she wanted to unleash but she respected your unspoken plea, if only for now, and reluctantly sank back into her chair waiting for your order number to be called out. Once you received the drinks and pastries, the two of you continued walking back to your shared apartment, the weight of the situation heavy on your mind as a tear slipped from your eyes. You had no goddamn appetite now.
Tumblr media
The evening had taken an unsettling turn for you. After returning from a troubling encounter at the café that you wished you could just forget, you found yourself back in your cosy apartment that you shared with the Satoru Gojo, the most popular boy on campus.
As you pushed off your shoes and set them by the door, you overheard some of Gojo's friends chatting in the main area. Forcing a smile, you greeted the people in the room as Ieiri followed behind you, making her presence known as she greeted them as well. You placed the bag of pastries on the table, knowing that for certain, Gojo would inhale them when he got his hands on them.
“Hey, do you have a smoke?” Geto asked Ieiri as he looked over his shoulder. Next thing you knew, Geto had moved to sit across from you at the island counter while you sipped at your glass of water, mind wandering back to your jerk of a boyfriend. “How are you?” he inquired, patiently waiting for your response.
“I’m alright, thanks,” you mumbled, trying to muster a genuine smile in response to his concern.
Geto waved a hand in front of your face as your thoughts drifted. Suddenly, you were locked into eye contact with him. Leaning down to eye level, he asked, “You sure you’re okay? You look a bit tired,” a playful chuckle escaping his lips.
You sighed a little before shaking your head resolutely, “Just had a terrible fucking week.”
Geto chuckled, “Tell me about it.” he scoffed, commiserating with your struggles. Although he didn’t know the full story, it didn’t matter, you were seen for a second and it felt good, "I swear they have it out for us."
Ieiri was best friends with both Gojo and Geto in high school. You never really understood their dynamic at all but the brief interactions shared with Geto had been enough for you to come up with a comprehensive answer.
Many people around had said that Geto was like the sun personified, radiating this warmth and light wherever he went. His presence had an undeniable magnetic quality, drawing people toward him but he could leave an indelible mark on anyone in his presence. It was quite possible that what was true, made you smile a little.
Gojo's friends continued their lively chatter, sharing stories and laughter and it wasn’t until you heard the tap turn on that you realised Gojo is standing right next to you drinking water aswell.
“Hey. You smoking or what? I don’t have all day, Suguru,” Shoko chimed in, her voice cutting through the conversation.
“That shit will kill you one day Suguru.” he muttered next to you.
“Funny. You said the same thing to me today.” Ieiri commented and you could feel all their gazes land on you.
“I guess we’re a lot alike.” Gojo joked and you feel yourself smile at his words as Geto and Shoko shared a look.
Geto cleared his throat, a hand coming up to your shoulder, “Things will get better, I promise.” he smiled as both he and Shoko exited the apartment for their smoke.
The atmosphere inside the apartment shifted slightly as you were left alone in the kitchen with Gojo.
“What was that about?” he spoke, regarding the comment that Geto had just made.
You turned your attention to Gojo and shook your head dismissively, “It’s nothing.”
“You sure? You can talk to me, you know?”
“I know,” you nodded, “It’s nothing, really.”
“I’ll take your word for it.” he took another sip of his water.
You paused for a moment, “If I knew you had guests over, I would've brought them some as well.” you stated, pointing at the pastries from the café in the bag.
Gojo raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "So those pastries are for me?" he inquired, his playful tone evident.
"Don't push it." you scoffed, your heart warming at his teasing for just a second. There is suddenly a nagging feeling that tells you he is just being nice to you due to the circumstances.
You clear your throat as you tear your gaze away from him, "Are your friends staying for dinner? If they are, I might skip."  You weren’t exactly feeling like yourself, and would rather not be spending time around people you hardly knew. You were just getting warmed up to the man next to you anyways.
“They’re not staying over. Even if they were, I don't really encourage skipping meals.” Gojo replied, his tone shifting between genuine concern and playfulness.
You can’t even force yourself to smile at his concern, you wanted to keep the discussion going, but your recent experience at the café had left you feeling on edge. "I guess I’ll see you at dinner then." you teased, your playful tone masking the underlying curiosity you had about his intentions. Did he truly want to be friends with you or was he doing it just out of pity?
He nodded at you and you retreated back into your room to grab some clothes but the voices of his friends drifted into your ears.
“Was that Hiroto’s girlfriend?”
“Yeah.” you heard the familiar white haired boy reply.
Their conversation had been about you, and you knew it. Trying to push yourself to stop them from eavesdropping, you shook your head and continued at finding some comfortable clothes for tonight. You needed to do something to take your mind off the events from earlier.
"Wait, seriously? I thought he was dating someone else."
Their words cast a shadow over your thoughts and only amplified your bad mood. You clenched your fists, trying to push down the mixture of anger and hurt.
“I don’t know how she’s still with him.”
The weight of their judgement had hit you harder than ever, especially after what you had witnessed earlier. As you contemplated confronting them about it, you could hear the hushed murmurs growing louder, escalating your frustration as a couple of voices interject.
“She’s kind of pathetic. Don’t you think so?”
You weren't ready to hear them belittle you any further, so you decided to retreat to the sanctuary of the shower, hoping the water would wash away the bitterness.
You turned on the water, stepping into the shower trying to drown out the sound of their voices echoing in your head. You wished you hadn't noticed how little effort Gojo made to defend you. Perhaps you were wrong to think the two of you were friends to begin with and considering his track record, maybe you shouldn’t have been so lenient to think he was different.
As you emerged from the shower, refreshed but still vulnerable, you were in the confines of your room as you messaged Shoko about what had happened. You knew she would give her a piece of her mind when she saw him next. You laid in bed, letting out some breaths steadying your heartrate as you heard Gojo call for you from outside your door. You weren't prepared for this, not after what you just heard between him and his friends.
With your emotions still raw and your nerves on edge, you slowly opened the door to find Gojo standing there, his usual confident demeanour softened.
His presence in the dimly lit hallway was both comforting and disconcerting. You met his gaze, your eyes holding a mixture of anxiety and frustration.
Gojo's voice was gentle but laced with concern as he spoke, "I sent my friends home.”
You nodded, not even bringing it in yourself to even berate him for being an absolute asshole to you when he thought you weren’t listening.
“I noticed you've been quiet since you got home. Is everything okay? Are you sure you don’t want to talk about it?"
Your emotions, a turbulent whirlwind of hurt and anger, surged within you. With a deep breath, you finally found your voice, but your words came out sharp and accusatory, "I don't appreciate it Gojo," you began, your tone wavering but determined, "I know what you and your friends say about me when you think I'm not listening."
Gojo's brows furrowed in confusion. "What?"
"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about," you continued, your voice quivering with anger.
You could see Gojo's expression shift from confusion to realisation, and a pang of regret flickered in his eyes. His usually playful demeanour had vanished, replaced by a sombre and sincere expression.
"I'm sorry," he finally whispered, his voice sincere but unsure of how to proceed.
You felt tears well up in your eyes replaying the pain of your boyfriend cheating on you and the callous things they said behind your back. The disappointment of his apology settled in- he’s only sorry because he got caught.
“That was the last thing I expected from you.” you spat out. "I thought…” you let out a deep breath, your words hanging with every ounce of pain that you’d felt today. You shook your head as you continued, “I thought we were friends."
"We are." he declared, his eyes wavering now. With guilt or concern, you couldn't tell but you knew he didn't really care.
"We're not." you emphasised, still burning with the fury of all the events that transpired today. "Every day, I see you look at me with those eyes that say how pathetic you think I look."
Gojo's brow furrowed in frustration with himself. He wanted to say the right words, to offer comfort, but he struggled to find them. He stepped a little closer, his hands outstretched towards you. You stepped back, your heart pounding erratically, and he instantly retreated.
“You have no idea how much it hurts but I guess I shouldn’t have trusted you to begin with.”
Without giving him a chance to speak, you shut the door with trembling hands. You felt a thud against the door on the opposite end and you could hear him muttered a few curse words as you slid down the surface defeatedly.
His face that was etched with guilt and regret. That look was embedded in your head as you let the tears slip down your face. He gave a resigned sigh before turning away and trudging off towards the kitchen to make dinner– alone.
You stayed in your room until you heard the door to his room close after a couple hours of distracting yourself: with studying, messaging Shoko how much you hated Gojo, and cleaning your room. Retreating from your bedroom as quietly as you can, you see a plate of food he made for you wrapped up with a small post it note on your favourite drink next to it.
I know you're still mad at me, but I hope you don’t skip dinner. Eat well, you'll need the strength... ᕙ(‾̀◡‾́)ᕗ
You scoffed at his note, scrunching it up, putting it in your pocket. It was all just lip-service.
As you sat there alone, your eyes welled up with tears, and you could feel your composure slipping away. The weight of the day became too much to bear. Your heart ached, the hurt and betrayal coursing through you as you sobbed softly.
What a terrible fucking week.

“I thought I told you not to worry about me.” you said, phone tucked on your shoulder holding it to your ear as you took the grocery bag from the old lady giving a curt nod and smile. You moved the bags in one hand and pulled the phone out from your shoulder, pressing it against your ear.
“But then what else would I do?” Satoru whined, masking his concern with a playful question as you walked to the crossing, going to take the usual route home.
“Go bother someone else.” you teased.
Going for the dramatics you heard him gasp through the line, “You are so mean.” he replied and you don’t have to see him to know he is pouting.
You chuckled, stopping in your tracks as you glanced over the scenic route through the park contemplating to take the long way home. Your attention is suddenly turned to the children with their parents, chasing each other around.
Your heart stuttered.
The mere sight elicited thoughts about your future; the plans you had come up with; the dreams you’d wish to share with Suguru that were torn away from you. The burdens of the jujutsu world were too much to handle alone, and you just know that if you were just a bit more attentive, you could have saved him.
“You need to be reminded that you’re not the only special grade sometimes.” you said, glancing at the way the soft cerulean of the sky weaved with a beautiful light orange. The sunset reminding you of days when Suguru would take you out after missions together.
“Do you think you’re stronger than me?” he chimed, and you rolled your eyes at his comment. Satoru was always like this but you knew that his voice was laced with worry and concern.
“I’m going to hang up.” you threatened as your feet move against their own will, deciding to take the long way home today. The cherry blossoms danced along with the wind, falling beneath you on the concrete as you continued down the path.
It is quiet for a moment and you think Satoru has hung up on you in response to your comment but when you hear him sigh, you can’t help but do the same.
It has been a rough few years for everyone, especially for Shoko, Satoru, and yourself. Not only had you lost your best friend the first time but you also had to lose him another time.
“Are you still there?” he interrupted your thoughts.
“Yeah.. I’m still here.” you replied as you let out an exhale, kicking some pebbles along your path.
“Are you still seeing him around?” he questioned, words picked out carefully.
You sighed, “you make me sound insane.” you responded as you stood at the traffic light waiting for the cars to pass by. Your eyes moved to the blossom leaves falling atop your head and on your clothes.
“I never said you were insane Y/N.” he grumbled and you can’t control the way your whole body relaxes at his words. You knew Satoru cared for you deeply and you had always appreciated it even if you didn't really show it. He had always kept an eye out for you, even before Suguru’s death, and while he was a handful, you knew he always had good intentions. “It wasn’t easy to be there." he added.
You thought back to that day where Satoru insisted you stay back as he went to find Suguru but one look at you and he caved. You wanted to go to find newfound peace but seeing him in this state did nothing for your closure, it only made your heartache worse.
Seeing him smile at you like he did the first day you met had sent butterflies all throughout your body.
Everything about him- every minuscule detail about him- had been exactly as you had remembered. He still had the same sweet and playful look in his eyes. He still had the same goddamn smile. He was still the same person you fell in love with all those years ago so it hurt. You cried, wept, and tried to be strong as you thought about the moments shared with him and how cruel it was that this was where you ended up.
You leaned down, and kissed his cheek as tears adorned your cheeks. Holding his hand and with three tight squeezes- a sign of sorry that you established as your relationship blossomed- he closed his eyes, prepared for the worst as a tear rolled down his face, and then he took his last breath.
“Satoru…” you uttered, completely speechless as you tried to clear your head, “I wanted to be there.”
There was a pregnant pause.
“Do you think it’s possible?” he questioned, uncertainty laced in his voice.
“That what Satoru? That by some miracle he’s alive?” you replied immediately regretting it.
It wasn’t just you that had to grieve the loss of Geto Suguru, and as much as you wanted to just go about your day without thinking about it, guilt would eat away at your bones for not constantly thinking about him.
“i’m sorry.” he sighed and you felt your heart clench at his apology. Why should he be apologising? It was unfair that grief was making you behave this way and you knew that sooner or later you'd need to talk to someone about it.
“I’m the one who should be sorry. I just don’t think my mind will let me forget it...” you sighed as you continued to walk slowly to your apartment.
The line is quiet and you don’t know what else to say. You don’t expect Satoru to even reply to you.
“You don’t have to forget. You can just live with it.”
Shoko had once told you that 'grief was love with no place to go' and while you hadn’t really understood it then, you did now. It was a way to understand the emotional ruins of grief as a continuation of the love you once had, even if the object of that love is no longer a part of your life. In a sense, Satoru was also telling you the same thing. He acknowledged that moving on didn't mean erasing the past and staying stagnant in the moment, but recognised that you can continue living a meaningful life whilst also carrying the grief with you.
You thought you were losing your mind and that seeing Suguru everywhere was a curse but maybe it was the world's way of letting you know that he was finally at peace. As you walked up the pathway to your apartment in a comfortable silence, you thought about his and Shoko’s words.
Every single day you would return home to a place void of any remnant of Suguru. A place that is supposed to offer comfort now did the opposite but today felt different. Maybe it was a step towards another way of living and it wouldn’t be so hard to live with the grief.
“Where are you now?”
“Outside my door.” you spoke as you used a key to unlock the door.
“Okay. I’m glad you got home safe," he remarked, "I'll see you tomorrow?”
“See you then.”
“Stay safe.” he said and you know what he means.
“Love you too.”
You hung up the phone and took off your shoes before tossing everything onto the kitchen island and groaning as you stretched your back and neck. You turned to open the fridge, “Whoever you are, you have ten seconds to run before I kill you.”
You wouldn’t say you were the strongest, your abilities were nowhere to be compared to Satoru but everyone deserves a second chance, right? You let the entity decide its own fate. Don't say I didn't warn you...
“So... you’re the infamous Y/N.”
That voice…
Your feet were frozen in place and you could feel your own heart sink into the pit of your stomach. There were words stuck in your throat as the nauseous feeling crept up and threatened to spill from your lips. This can’t be right…
What felt like minutes passed by as you processed what, or rather who you just heard. The way your name rolled off their tongue was foreign. Was it really who you thought it was? Your mind must be going through it right now and although you know it’s not possible, you can’t help but hope it is who you think it is as you turned around.
“Suguru?” you uttered, eyes wide as the tears brimmed the edge of them as you stared at the man in front of you.
“Bingo!” he chuckled.
You begged yourself to snap out of it. This was clearly a sick and twisted transformation technique but your heart betrayed you, standing there and not making a run for it.
“You’re probably thinking this is some illusion but thanks to your friend, I was able to obtain this body without much trouble.” he smiled and you felt goose bumps crawling up your arm at the strange sight. Despite how much this man looked and sounded like Suguru, you knew this was not the case at all.
Your jaw clenched, “What the fuck did you do to him?”
“I could ask you the same thing,” he said, standing up from your sofa as he trudged towards you, “My cursed technique allows me to transplant my brain into anybody," he explained and you're heaving as you tried to keep your rage at surface level, "I have access to all of his memories, his skills, and whatnot."
You don't have it in yourself to attack just yet.
"He lived a long time without you in his life but somehow," he paused, "you take up almost every single memory.” he sounded frustrated and the tears threatening to escape your eyes do so- whether he was telling the truth or not, they still hurt you immensely.
“So why are you here?” you growled as your body allowed itself to move again and maintaining eye contact with him as you focused all your energy to charge your technique.
“You are a hindrance to my plans.”
His weakness.
You released your cursed technique at him immediately and launched him across the room and as you moved to the table to grab your phone. One of Suguru’s cursed spirits wrapped around your hands and restrained you and using your abilities, you managed to get away from it. You shot him a look as he tilted his head with a smile, “I gave you ten seconds to run but I have something else settled for you now” you snapped as you continued to use your technique to your advantage as you continued to fight him.
You would say that against Suguru, it had always been a close call of who would win in a fight but this time it felt difficult. Who was this guy?
You continued to attack the man, fighting back with all your might. He wasn’t actually Suguru, so you didn’t feel the need to hold back. He caught you off guard with a calculated move and knocked you to the floor. You saved yourself from further injury as you used your arm to break the fall, but you managed to hit your head on the furniture with your head in the process.
You winced pushing yourself off your elbow as the man walked towards you with his hands in front of you as he tried to force you up by the throat, “Suguru...” you managed to say before he could grab you.
Before you can even process it, there is a twitch of his hand that came up to his throat, choking himself as his fingers pressed down against the side of his throat, ultimately stopping himself from putting a hand on you.
Your eyes widened as your breath caught in your lungs. Was he still in there?
Kenjaku’s eyes widened, as his vessel- Suguru’s body- fought against him, and a laugh that used to be full of joy now sounded like nails on a chalkboard as it echoed through your apartment, “This is impressive!" he spoke, amused at the action.
By no means was Geto Suguru still alive, but protecting you had become muscle memory; it was an instinct that has embedded itself deep within his soul, one that Kenjaku would never truly be able to understand..
You are still on the floor, blood dripped down the side of your head as you moved up from your spot. Using your technique, you try and catch him off guard by putting all your strength into your next move, attacking him when he least expects it, “In all my years, I have never seen anything quite like this and it is all because of you.” he cackled.
“It sounds like somebody is scared.” you taunted, smirking at the imposter to try to size him up.
“Well, let me tell you this,” he cleared his throat, “When a part of the original host reacts, you know what that means?”
“What?” you seethed, jaws clenched as you waited for him to finish his sentence.
“He’s still in here.” he whispered, and t had caught you off guard.
You wanted to attack but instead your heart sabotaged your next move allowing Kenjaku to have the upper hand. You struggled to react as you felt the pain of something on your left side and suddenly, you are on the floor gasping for air and you can feel him hover over you.
He pinned you down to the floor and slammed you against it to stop you from struggling but you were already incapacitated so what was the point?
In terms of physical strength, Suguru would always win by a landslide and this is when you wished you had taken your training more seriously.
There was a visceral reaction that tears at Kenjaku as he has you in his hands which entertains him once again, “You have some nerve calling yourself a special grade sorcerer,” he sneered, “Are you holding back?”
You looked up at him and tried your absolute best to move but the pain is too much to handle. You clenched your jaw as your breathing became erratic, “You will find no peace, so long as you live.” you choked out.
He laughed and wrapped his hand around your neck tighter, his right hand reaching over to your hand- you don’t know what he expected from you now that you’re bleeding out. "You're hilarious," he rejoiced as his hand intertwined with yours, “So let me make this easier for you. Just think about him...” Kenjaku needed you to suffer so that he could shake Suguru’s will to its core, stripping anything left he had. You don’t know what you expected but then you felt a gentle squeeze.
One.
You forced your eyes open to look up at the man who squeezed your hand. It seemed that he was unaware at the action. This guy said he had all of Suguru’s memories so was he just doing this on purpose? Is this Geto Suguru or is this the imposter that is using his body?
“It is honestly so sweet just how much he loved you after all those years apart.” he chuckled.
Kenjaku continued to put pressure around your neck with one hand, feeling the exact opposite of what Suguru was probably going through- an intolerable, gut-wrenching pain, without exaggeration. He can’t do anything but squeeze his hand in yours again.
Two.
You can’t fight back, you have no will. Even if by some miracle, how could you possibly hurt the man in front of you? The man you once loved...
“Is that why you’re not fighting back? Do you love him too much to hurt him?”
Suguru’s soul pleaded.
He wondered why he couldn’t be strong right now for you and resist but it was no use. You could see a tear falling from his face now as the final fragment of his soul tried its best to push through.
Three.
You’re choking. You can't swallow. You can't breathe. You can only see the man you loved in blurry vision from the lack of oxygen and through tears. He was sorry...
“I… I.. forgive.. y-” you choked out, voice restricted as Kenjaku forced himself to push through with his execution, tightening his grip. The finality of it all settled deep within his soul as Kenjaku watched the life leave your eyes as you took your last breath.
A tear rolled down your cheek and your existence on the Earth came to an end.
Suguru was not really gone but he might as well have been. He will exist for a long time knowing that he was the one that killed you and that he couldn’t do anything to stop it either.
It was on that night for the first time that Kenjaku felt the overwhelming amount of agony from his vessel. His soul ached, cried, and wailed that night, longing to be with you but he couldn’t- that was just how things were meant to be for you two.
You hoped he knew that you forgave him and that you would love him endlessly but as for now, you would wait...

BE MY BABY
Tumblr media
gojo satoru loves you so much and doesn’t want the relationship to be a secret anymore + fem!reader. satoru is annoying but he will forever be the loml.. 🫶🏼 i’mfeeding my brain bc this man is absolutely not subtle at all and just wants to touch and kiss you all the time😵‍💫 anyways i want him so bad u guys don’t understand..
Tumblr media
“you look good.” you turned your attention to the voice, feeling your knees almost give in at the playfulness laced in his tone. it was gojo satoru donned in the most beautiful blue button up and black pants, sunglasses hanging loosely from the bridge of his nose.
it was after the baseball game of the annual kyoto sister-school goodwill event and you had some ‘important business’ to attend to.
“you don’t look too bad yourself.” you chuckled tilting your head to the side, flashing him a sly smile. the action almost sending him into a cardiac arrest as he walked towards you.
“oh yeah?” he leaned down so that he is face to face with you, “that’s not what you said last night.”
“satoru.” you stated, but it is more a warning than anything. he knows you’re being cautious but he can’t help but tease you.
“what?” he questioned as you move your hands over to his glasses pushing it over his eyes and forehead to rest on top of his head.
“you should wear blue more often…” you brushed your hands through his hair and stare at him feeling all your stress and worries dissipate, “i couldn’t keep my eyes off you.” you whispered, it’s a sentiment reserved just for satoru.
“are you trying to kill me?” he questioned, heart swelling from hearing you compliment him. he closed his eyes leaning back with a hand over his eyes as he tried to hide the smirk.
“you know i could never.” you smiled at him before removing his sunglasses from the top of his head and putting them over his eyes.
“you know you don’t have to pretend we didn’t just see each other the other night, right?” he questioned as he raised a brow. judging by the tone of his voice, you know exactly where this is headed. he moved up toward you, hand on your waist as your bodies were close to each other.
“that doesn’t mean we still can’t be extra careful.” you replied as he stared at your lips and then back up at your eyes. you didn’t do anything to stop his hands at your waist though.
“actually, i wouldn't mind- in my eyes, getting caught isn't too bad.” he admitted, his mouth met yours in a passionate kiss, as he brushed his hand through your hair and back over to your cheeks.
“you’re insufferable.” you muttered against his lips as you lean forward for more, hand moving to the back of his neck.
“you can’t get enough of me.” he chuckled, allowing himself to pull away despite mind telling him to kiss you. he knew things would take a turn so with an all knowing smirk etched across his face, he pecked your cheek once more before taking your hand in his and leading you to another place.
“how’s megumi?” you asked, using your other hand to trace patterns onto his that was currently intertwined with yours.
“he’s good, or as well as teenagers can be.”
“i hope so. i know i haven’t been around often but-”
“but nothing,” he interrupted, not taking anymore of your rambling, “as far as i’m concerned, you’ve done plenty for us. i don’t want to hear any of that.” he stated and continued onto the track down the pavement.
satoru knew you had this habit of overthinking and always found a way to reassure you, despite how much he tells you to, you just can’t help it. you were lucky to have him in your life and as much as you’d like to keep it to yourself, you tell him everyday just how much you wished you could show him love publicly.
“us?” you stopped in your tracks and stared at the back of his head as the trees danced along with the wind.
“not just with megumi and tsumiki, but with me too,” he said, no hesitation behind it and you can’t help but send him a grateful look, “you worry too much you know? it’s really bad for you.” he spoke continuing down the path to the dormitories.
“and you don’t worry about anything.” you rebutted, catching up to him and linking your arms together.
“like that’s a bad thing.” he scoffed, as he pulled you close to him.
from afar nobara, megumi, and itadori were on their way to their dorms when they noticed you.
“who is that that he’s with?” nobara butted in and before megumi can answer her.
“gojo-sensei!” itadori exclaimed and all eyes are on him as you and satoru turned to the voices behind you.
you beamed at the three in front of you, especially at megumi who gives you a small smile as they rush towards you and satoru. you tried to pry your arms from his but he had you trapped, “i never got to properly introduce myself, but i’m the second year teacher here. it’s nice to meet you all.” you smiled at them.
satoru is stood next to you and he can’t help a growing smile as he sees you interact with his students.
“when did you two get together?” nobara asked, curiosity glowing in her eyes as itadori stares at you waiting for your answer.
a nervous feeling flutter in your chest, and you know you have to say something but the words are not forming in your mouth.
“uh, well-”
“we’ve been dating for eleven years.” satoru threw a hand over your shoulder pulling you close to him but before you could push him away.
“that’s so long!” nobara exclaimed as megumi shows no reaction at all.
“congratulations!” itadori shouted with a smile on his face.
despite the fact that you both decided to keep the relationship a secret, you found yourself turning to the man with a smile, “i thought we’d at least talk about it before telling people.” you mentioned giving him a stern stare but it does nothing— he knows you aren’t actually upset with him.
“is it so bad that i want others to know how lucky i am?” he smirked before giving you a kiss on the cheek.
“you’re annoying.” you uttered as you push him away from you and he chuckled, placing his hands into his pockets.
he leaned down face to face with you before saying, “you love me.”
“of course.” you reassured as you give him a kiss on the lips.
“will you two stop acting like a couple already?” megumi butted in and walked past two of you.
satoru scoffed and you laughed before following the black haired boy, throwing your arms over nobara and itadori’s shoulders, “let me treat you guys to some food!”
“c’mon satoru.” you gestured over your shoulder as he resumed walking. satoru is reminded just how lucky he is everyday. he smiled shaking his head, if he couldn’t wait to tell other people that you were his girlfriend, just imagine how he would react when he gets to call you his wife.

KISS IT BETTER!
Tumblr media
gojo satoru who refuses to sleep unless you’re in bed next to him + fem!reader. this started off so sweet and fluffy but my brain decided to take this another route (it’s very suggestive; i don’t go into it too much).. also the petname baby is used… it’s gross but i couldn’t help it… not proofread, sorry for any mistakes!!
Tumblr media
you let out an exhale rubbing your eyes as you let out a yawn. your eyes moving to the figure sprawled out over the couch by your side, a sleeping satoru.
you chuckle to yourself as you adjust yourself and lean over the couch a bit. satoru had made it clear that he would not go to bed unless you were there next to him but because you’d been caught up in a report, he took his solace in the sofa next to you.
satoru had been doing this for a while… reading every now and then or watching something while waiting for you. usually you wouldn’t take any longer than a couple of minutes doing your own thing but this time it was different and it seems that satoru had finally cracked and fallen asleep despite his promise.
you brush a hand through his soft snowy hair as you observe his breathing. you didn’t care that he broke his promise, it was great seeing him so quiet as you carded your hand through his hair. you didn’t know how you got so lucky with such an amazing partner.
“you’re being a creepy weirdo with your staring.”
you were going to pull your hand away but you decided to keep it there, brushing his hair down to fix his bangs as his eyes were still closed.
“you’re awake…” you hummed with a small smile.
he exhaled, “i was never asleep.” he explained as he opened his eyes and looked over at you. just as beautiful as the first day he saw you.
“i like your hair down baby.” you mumbled, voice tired and kinda sexy (well at least to gojo).
“please… don’t talk to me like that.” he groaned as he brought a hand over to caress your cheek.
“sorry for keeping you up.” you said as you lean into his touch, his fingers moving side by side as he continues to observe you.
“don’t ever apologise for something so stupid.” he replied as he started to sit up from his spot yawning a little, stretching before watching you get up.
“you had a long day toru, let’s go to bed.” you held your hand out to him as you pulled him up from his spot.
“you’re not tired right?” he questioned as he looked over his shoulder at you as you walked to the bathroom.
“hm?” you hum, a little confused at why he was asking that. you continued the routine to brush your teeth as you stared at satoru who was leaned against the doorframe with a small smirk, “why are you being like that?” you mumbled with the toothbrush still in your mouth as you finished brushing. he just shrugged and you squint at him before flossing. you wanted nothing more than to go to bed.
“no skincare?” he posed the question as you turned off the bathroom light, following you back into your bedroom as you closed the door to your shared bedroom.
“too tired.” you yawn as you rub your eyes looking at the dim lighting in your room, you couldn’t wait to jump into bed and sleep forever.
“my girl is tired?” he cooed, backing your figure up against the door, his hand adorned your waist as he caressed your cheek with his other hand. his fingers interlacing with your hair as he looked down at you giving you a look you were all too familiar with.
“satoru-”
“you talk a lot,” his hand are warm, soothing as he moves it down to either side of your body, trapping you. his eyes are locked with yours and he leans just a little bit closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispers, “let me take care of you.”
his warm breath against your ear is transferred to your cheek as his plush lips peck feather light kisses down around your neck. you struggle to keep the noise to a minimum as your hands move up from his biceps to his nape.
you can feel his body heat. the smell of his expensive fragrance mixed with yours filling the air as he nips at your neck slightly. you feel your heart beating irregularly, a flutter of emotions racing through you as you moan lightly.
he pulls himself away from your neck meeting your gaze with a small smirk, his eyes locking onto yours. a second or two of silence as he just observed your state, before leaning toward your lips.
you close your eyes as he wrapped his arms around your waist- those strong, muscular arms- as your mouth meets his. your hands that were on his nape now dangles around his neck, resting on his mid back and you can feel satoru’s fingers move through your hair.
despite being with him for years now, he still kissed you with so much passion… his lips are warm, sensual and you can feel his tongue, his breath, his desire and it feels amazing, so you kiss him back harder.
he smiles into the kiss and he finally pulls away from you, both breathless, “still tired?” he said and it makes your legs weak.
“shut up.” you declared, pulling him back onto your lips giving him another kiss as his hands move down to caress your thigh and then he rests his hand at your waist, his grip tight. his touch feels like electric in your state as he suddenly brings it up to your face to kiss you more and more. he tilts his head a little giving him a bit more entrance as he slips his tongue in. you’re moaning and groaning into his lips and satoru is turned on to the max. shit….
you feel yourself moving from the wall and onto the soft mattress finally being pulled from the kiss. both of your lips were swollen but your brain only craved more, “fuck. you just looked so good in my shirt.” he panted as he looked down at you.
“i bet i’d look even better without it.” you tease him and his eyes shine with lust at the comment.
“oh, i know baby,” he whispered as he presses a kiss on your thigh. his hands inch from the bottom of his shirt that you’re wearing and moves it up slowly, pulling the shirt over your head. he looks at your bare chest and takes a moment before speaking, “you are so fucking gorgeous.”
“today satoru…” you whined, a little embarrassed at his staring.
he leans down kissing you once more before pulling off his own shirt. you hands trails his abs and he looks down at you, sprawled underneath him and he wants to have you so badly.
“sorry,” he said, “they say you eat with your eyes first.” he smiled.
if you weren’t tired before, you certainly would be after tonight but it was the perfect way to end the night.
satoru would be asleep next to you, just as he intended.

SAVE YOUR INSULTS !

If Atsumu didn’t prompt you, then you probably wouldn’t be in this situation to begin with.
It started off with a simple bowling game with your friend group but as the night progressed Atsumu’s group decided to join -sadly, excluding Sakusa - and it was a pure coincidence that their lane was next to yours. It was also ‘fate’, as your friends would put it, that you and Atsumu went up to bowl at the same time.
Atsumu always joked around with you like it was his job; you and him were always neck and neck and competing against each other ever since high school. Despite graduating high school, the blond had somehow found his way back into your life and Atsumu, somehow, acted more cocky since then.
He found humour in getting a reaction out of you. Within the first few minutes, he was already taunting you about how he could gather more strikes than you and especially how he could beat you at bowling ‘without blinking an eye’.
The further and further into the game they got, the more frustrated you grew at his nonchalance and how he was possibly right about beating you at bowling - not that you would ever admit it to his face.
The scores were 81 to 108 - Atsumu taking the win.
“When are you gonna admit that I’m better than you?” Atsumu said with a cocky look plastered on his features. You clicked your tongue with a heavy sigh as you thought about how even under the flickering lights, he still had such a punchable face.
“You are not better than me Atsu.” your voice drawled, emphasising each word carefully. This earned a scoff from the blond setter that made him cross his arms over his chest.
You eyes scan over his figure as his toned muscles that were evident in the black t-shirt which hugged at his bicep perfectly as his arm crossed over his chest... Did he always look this good? You caught herself staring a bit too long at his arms so you looked up at him with her brows raised.
This action alone said more words than you could muster at the moment as your bodies were mere inches apart and Atsumu felt betrayed by the sudden beat of his heart.
Fuck.
He pulled back uncrossing his arms and leaning down to be on the same level as you, “Okay sore loser,” he chuckled seeing how a scowl was now etched on your features but he missed the embarrassed look in your eyes under the purple and blue lights, “How about a game of laser tag?” he mentioned with a suggestive look, waiting to see your reaction. Atsumu loved teasing you but he also hated also seeing the dejected look on your face when he beat you.
“My team versus your team?” you retorted as you stared at Suna and Osamu who appear to resting on the couch, and Bokuto and Hinata probably running around the arcade somewhere.
“Yes, we’re going to be in teams, wherever they are but it’s going to be me against you? What do you say?” he raised a brow before putting his hand out in front of you to get you to shake it.
Totally not to hold your hand at all.
At first, you hesitated to shake his hand but slowly inched forward to hover over his palm, “When I win, you’re gonna regret it.” you taunted.
He chuckled before tightening his grip on your much smaller hand, “I am going to demolish you again so maybe you should just accept your fate now or watch as I beat you once again.” he stated, just as cocky as before.
If you weren’t certain before, you knew that now, more than ever, that you had to actually devise a plan that’ll guarantee a win. Your hands were still in his while you tightened the grip on his hand as well, “Oh you’re fucking on Miya Atsumu.” you declared.
Tumblr media
The vest situated on your chest uncomfortably as you adjusted your position in between the ramps. You were holding the small gun in front of your chest under the strobing lights and fog that had appeared when the match begun. The thumping beats of an unknown edm music was way too loud as the sound of shooting and vests dying could be heard.
A couple of your friends had decided to team up and run around shooting Hinata and Bokuto who were confused and spent the last few minutes running (and screaming) around the area. Osamu and Suna were also running around somewhere, you lost the pair after finding and shooting them a couple of times. You assumed they were somewhere hiding and scaring the shit out of your other friends. You hoped you were taking the lead with the amount of vests that had dulled because of your trustworthy companion.
Your breathing slowed down after running up and down the ramps, hiding, crouching and shooting at the boys when they were distracted but after all your hard work, you still hadn’t shot Miya Atsumu...
You knew what his plan was actually; he was going to marinate you long enough so that he could get you to let down her guard. To hell you were going to let that happen - well, not on purpose anyways.
It’s go time.
You exhaled before sprinting down the ramp hearing a high pitched scream sound from... somewhere - the echo in this place fucked up your senses.
You knelt behind some prop as some of your friends giggled running past. If you read the situation right, you knew that Atsumu must’ve been hiding in one of the areas you hadn’t been to yet - the mazes.
Atsumu, had been sneaking around like a sly little fox ever since the round started and your friends had run to you with their vests off ranting about how, ‘You better take that fucker down or else i’ll do it myself’ and sure while it was completely funny, it was also more of a reason for you to take Miya Atsumu’s pride and crush it. You kept your ground whilst manoeuvring around the arena as if you knew the place like the back of your palm.
Unfortunately for you, the plan had to be postponed for a bit, “i’m going to kill you suna!” one of your friends yelled so loudly it cause you to burst out in fits of laughter as you retreated to the nearest place you could. You pressed your back against the wall and a hand over your mouth. Were you a bit too loud?
You walked forward and looked out of the tiny frame that was built in the wall; why did they build laser tag place like that? While you shook her head, you looked out to check if maybe Atsumu was around somewhere trying to lead you into a trap. Maybe Atsumu was just around the corner so you could take a detour to get back to the maze and make it just in time to sho-
The light of your gun lost it’s vibrant blue colour as you looked back in disbelief at the person that just shot you. Lo and behold, it was the one person you had been be looking for since the beginning of the game.
“I thought I heard yer laughing. S’cute ya know?” he yelled over the thumping of the music which was less loud in this secluded area. You sighed as you loosened your grip on the gun, letting down your guard down now that you’d been shot.
“You don’t have to flatter me now, you shot me already.” you rolled your eyes, replying to his comment. You saw his figure inching towards you and you thought, once again, that he had a very punchable face.
He was still on guard as you saw his eyes scanning the vicinity before slowly approaching your figure, “I hope you’re ready to compliment me,” he chuckled as you pressed your back against the wall, out of sight of the little window frame, “Or you could start now?” he suggested as he towered over you.
His dialect, still, caught you off guard as you looked down at your feet, now a bit ashamed at how you wished he would come and put his lips on yours; you bit your bottom lip, trying to suppress the butterflies from spewing out of your stomach. You looked back up and felt your heart thump louder at the proximity between you and atsumu.
You were all giddy until a few shooting noises were heard along with yelling that turned into laughter, “Keep your voice down.” you expressed before watching him turn his attention back to you, now with an insinuating look etched all over his face.
“Or what?” he teased until your expression became one he could not read.
“Or they’ll hear us.” you informed as your hands leave the gun which hung off the vest, and move towards his cheek. The contact between you two wasn’t new yet triggered a vulnerability in Atsumu as his eyes widened, understanding what was about to happen.
Atsumu was quick to let go of his gun as you inched towards his face, lips hovering over his for a second almost like you were asking for permission before he let out a breath leaning into your lips. Atsumu took control of the kiss, his hand coming up to brush his fingers through your hair and the other hand to cup your cheek.
You were quite flustered at how impulsive you had been with this decision because, oh my God, you were kissing Miya fucking Atsumu. Your lips moulded into his perfectly as you brought your arms over his shoulder, pulling him closer by the nape and Atsumu thought he was going crazy but he tasted strawberry, was it your lipbalm?
He pulled on your bottom lip and giggled as your eyes shut at his action, you pulled away and let out a shaky exhale. Was it getting hotter in here or was it just Atsumu? For a second you swore that Atsumu’s eyes were full of lust and that he wouldn’t stop at any given time - not that you were complaining - and you were evidently right because he didn’t stop.
Atsumu’s lips were back on yours almost instantly after as he craved more, holding your face in his hands. You pushed yourself off the wall and spun to pin him to the wall; he grunted at the shove since it caused your lips to separate for a millisecond. Atsumu tried to lean more into your lips because he couldn’t get enough of the strawberry taste and he couldn’t get enough of you...
His eyes fluttered open at the sudden loss of contact and as he felt a vibration shoot through his vest. Atsumu stabled himself against the wall in disbelief as he saw a sly smirk on your face. You felt your lips throbbing at the intense makeout kiss you just shared with Atsumu but nonetheless poked out your tongue at him.
‘GAME OVER’, the robotic voice announced as both you and Atsumu looked up at the flashing lights. “Maybe there’s one thing you’re good at Miya Atsumu.” you implied, blowing him a kiss before sprinting off and chuckling.
The nervousness in your voice was evident but not to the blond setter because he was still high on your kisses and how soft your lips were.
Atsumu put his fingers over his lips before chuckling at the memory and the way your lips fit in his.
If there was one thing he learnt from today, it was that he loved the taste of strawberries.
Tumblr media
“Even though you lost most of your pride, you still seem pretty ecstatic.” Osamu began after remembering the distinct score difference. It seemed that you had won the laser tag competition and it was supposed to be in character for Atsumu to be sulking about how he could’ve been beaten you if he planned things out better but to everyone’s surprise, he was not making a scene at all.
“Yeah? I saw you guys run off somewhere, don’t tell me you finally boned.” Suna teased as he stuffed his hands deep into his jacket pocket but no one could ever really tell if he was dead serious or coating all of his words in sarcasm.
"You know if all it took was for a competition to get Y/N to kiss me. I might have to take them up on a challenge everyday for the rest of my life.” he concluded giving you a side glance as you raised your brow at him. The boys eyes widened in shock and the girls opened their mouths in disbelief, trying to take in every word atsumu just said. Did they hear him right?
"Atsu. You’re just a sore loser asking for a rematch.” you pointed out with your arms crossed over your chest and an amused smile.
“Save your insults Y/N, at least I’m a better kisser than you.” he poked his tongue out at you after he twisted your compliment from earlier.
“You guys kissed?” the group yelled at you two.
God, you had a lot to explain.
Tumblr media

BABY I'M YOURS...
Tumblr media
miya osamu is overwhelmed by how much he loves you but doesn't know how to tell you... until today + gn!reader. this is so cute (it’s very suggestive).. i also included a scene i thought was cute from given if you've seen it teehee but also this is so cliché sorry guys… not proofread, sorry for any mistakes!!
Tumblr media
your arms slowly made their way across to the figure that laid by your side. the sudden movement on the duvet created sounds that pulled osamu out from his sleep. as his eyes fluttered open, like the wings of a butterfly, he realised that he wasn’t dreaming at all and that the person in front of him was all he had hoped for his whole life.
the warmth that emanated from your arms that were now draped over his torso had soon travelled up his body, a tinge of the heat travelling to osamu's face. their legs were tangled and he sighed in content whilst observing your sleeping figure. he wasn’t staring, more so admiring the person he’d managed to secure in his arms- and his heart.
he took it upon himself to bring a hand up to your cheek as the glow of the moonlight entered the room, illuminating almost everything around him except you. the contact upon his hand to your cheek felt like electricity. the beautiful melanin that basically made you glow and the way your lashes rested as you were sleeping was unreal.
he remembered the first night by your side so vividly because your face hadn’t changed at all: it was the perfect mixture of tranquility and worry. osamu found it adorable that you fell asleep so easily in his arms and how you looked so cute in your sleep, no matter how much you protested otherwise.
his lips moved toward your face as he pecked your cheek, “s' perfect.” he muttered against your face, moving towards your lips and then your jaw.
he brought a hand up to the side of your face. osamu was hoping, praying, that you wouldn’t wake to his touch but due to the especially stressful and busy week his worries were soon erased, you would pretty much be deep asleep. “ya smell so good” his voice lacked energy but he sighed as he brushed his thumb over your cheek, “s' gorgeous f' me.” he murmured as he inched closer, planting his soft lips against your forehead. he felt comforted knowing that you were at peace and next to him.
osamu was glad that you hadn’t woken up yet because he was genuinely baffled. he was absolutely bewildered that no matter if you were awake or asleep that you still looked as perfect as the first day he met you. you were ethereal and osamu knew no matter the several jabs that you made about yourself, he would always love you for you...
“i love ya gorgeous... i love ya s’much.” he declared pushing himself closer to you, so close he felt your head fit in the crook of his neck. your breath fanning over his neck as he pulled you closer in to him, sighing as he felt your hands instinctively wrap around his body. he didn’t want to let go, ever, because you were his now and he wouldn’t want it any other way. he shut his eyes in an attempt to hold onto this moment forever, to have you in his arms forever.
osamu was never fond of affection- quite the opposite of atsumu- even as a kid osamu had only ever allowed affection from his mother. he always found that personal space was better than constantly being smothered with kisses or hugs so the sudden display of affection, especially coming from osamu, was very surprising. you weren't ever going to leave him but, recently, he was afraid you would finally have enough of him not being the best boyfriend and he wasn’t about to risk losing you.
osamu felt himself being pushed back softly as your hand had come over his chest pushing yourself away from his chest as you stirred awake. he observed your face as your eyes fluttered open.
you were like an angel.
you pressed your surprisingly soft lips against the palm of his hand as you pulled them away from your waist, “why are u awake 'samu?” you whispered as your breathing matched his. there was a beat of silence between the two lovers but after a short period of time you continued, “did you have a nightmare?”
you pushed up from your elbows, osamu following suit as he sighed, shaking his head looking down. how was he supposed to tell you?
your backs were against the headboard and you shifted your body to face him when he didn’t answer for a while. “nah, i didn’t.” he shook his head and kept his gaze on you. the worry had yet dissipated from your eyes and as he is looking into them he can see that way your pupils dilate. fuck. he was so in love with you it was cruel that he couldn’t even fucking tell you just how he felt. osamu was never good with words but he couldn’t just not tell her now that you were awake and worried about him.
you moved from your spot, sitting cross legged just diagonally from him, “okay babe,” you chuckled as you moved onto your knees, both of your hands are on either side of his face. you leaned forward, kissing the top of his forehead, and pulled away from his face to brush his hair back, “i don’t expect you to tell me everything going through your head but i’m right here. i won't go anywhere.”
those four words were enough to make osamu let down his guard. “i love ya.” he spoke. it felt like your heart was going to fall out of your own body when you heard those words fall from his lips, “ya told me so many times but i could never say them back. i didn’t want ya to forget.” he uttered as you were still processing his comment.
your eyes were casted down as you got out of your position, letting out a heavy sigh. you waddled across the mattress before finding your place in osamu’s lap, legs on either side of his body. you were straddling him as you moved your arms over his neck before pressing your cheek on his chest, letting out another breath. osamu was surprised but he returned the hug immediately. his hand brushing through over the small of her back, “thank you for loving me.” you chuckled as tears flowed down your cheek and onto his shirt.
“yer killin me here,” he returned the chuckle before pulling you from his shoulders, bringing his thumb over your cheek to stop the tears from flowing, “i love ya. i will show ya until it’s engraved in yer tiny little brain.” osamu spoke as he pressed his lips to your cheek before pulling you in for a kiss on the lips.
your lips matched his, moving in sync with his. though the kiss was slow, there was something about his lips that had made you melt in his touch even more. you held his face to control the kiss but to no avail. osamu loved your lips and pulled your face closer to his to deepen the kiss. your lips were soft and tasted of the same flavour of lip balm you use and it was driving him crazy.
he finally pulled away from the kiss, moving his hands to your waist and softly rolled you over to your side of the bed so that you were now under him. youlooked too beautiful, it was impossible that someone could look this beautiful when they had just woken up and been crying. he smiled once more as you covered your face putting the back of your hand over your face, “samu! stop staring at me like that.” you mumbled under her hand, trying hard not to laugh as you squeezed your eyes shut.
he licked his lips as he laughed at your flustered state, his finger tickled your palm a little and you pulled your hand away from your face looking at him now, “i love ya.” he said again planting a soft kiss against your lips before finding comfort on his side of the bed. you was shocked when his arms snaked over your waist as his chest pressed against your back, “goodnight love.” he murmured pressing a lazy kiss to the back of your head. your eyes slowly fell as you felt his arm across your body, making you feel safe and loved.
you knew that then and there, home was not a place, home was a person- and his name was miya osamu.
