one of my favorite things to do in ffxiv of late is what my friends and i call "favorites roulette", which is that we go around and nominate 1-2 boss fights each that we like doing (up to a max of 5 because duty finder limitations), then queue up for all of them and see what we get. we only pick from normal trials and raids so it's always an 8-player story-difficulty fight, and due to personal preference we usually end up at level 80 or 90 (though there are sometimes a few 70s in there, and maybe a final steps of faith every now and again). the first time we did it, it was just for shits and giggles because we were bored, but now even though i prefer harder fights in general, Favorites Roulette is one of my favorite parts of the game. 10/10 would recommend.

there's an outbreak of BPD in men and it's called The Manosphere.

Since they are men and we villainize men more readily, everyone's insisting that "no it's not BPD, it's Covert NPD / Compensatory NPD". Failing to realize that these two conditions are the exact same thing. BPD is literally just the unstable and more openly wimpy version of NPD.

insane to me that duolingo teaches prices the way it does because I get that it's because they just haven't gotten to teaching the words for higher numbers but you are very much skewing the impression of how much pesos are actually worth. like I had the vague knowledge in my head that they weren't worth a lot in comparison to other (western) currencies (aka the ones I'm familiar with) but then duolingo goes "la falda cuesta catorce pesos" and I go huh ok I guess I was wrong. and then check a currency converter to make sure and no I was right 1 mexican peso is worth five cents (of a euro) so I feel like there is a flaw in the duolingo teaching system

ill reiterate another general reminder that i have given you before: y'all seem to think cast members on any show or movie are are all best friends. are you best friends with everyone in your office? at your job? being on set and doing press is their job. sure, absolutely true that there are some people who grow close while working together. it happens in every "office". but the vast majority of the time actors are simply coworkers who get along as well as normal coworkers do.

the whole concept is even more distorted when you're shooting on location because then you're with a certain group of people for months on end while away from home. of course a lot of pictures of you hanging out together will exist. you were literally stuck with each other during production, your regular friends/partners/family aren't there. it's almost inevitable that you'll end up spending time together with the fifty people you're working with for three months in louisiana or vancouver or whichever random place you're shooting at. stop translating that into people being best friends. stop equating the "they're the best!" answers actors give when journalists ask them "how was it like working with xyz?" into proof that 1) they're best friends and 2) the people they're talking about are actually nice. what do you want them to do? sit at a press junket for the show or movie they're promoting and be like "let me tell you...that dude is a dickkkkkk" lol. they have to be professional about it and obviously say they loved working together or throw general praises. why would you think they'd give a different answer? "but their cast members have never said anything bad about them!" what do you expect?! like...truly. y'all don't use your brains.
