i just woke up and saw this... i literally cannot breathe
it's so rare to hear han sing so calm and melodic, and his voice his so beautiful. and the lyrics... THE LYRICS.
a song about reminiscing about a lost love that you felt you never gave enough to, remembering the happy times but feeling like you don't deserve to remember that happiness because you know it's not yours anymore...
his lyricism is so beautiful idk how to even begin to explain how nostalgic and sad but yet healing his words are
every single skz-record this man releases is such a masterpiece...
... i'm so in love with him, bro.

Here's one of my inspo pages for the mix of logan angst animatics I'm currently working on (the lyrics are all from different songs)
I'm using a lot of different animation styles and experimenting with some animation tricks I've never tried before in quite a few of these animatics, so it's been helpful to kind of have a quick reference on hand, which is what this is sort of meant to be
I'm hoping I can get the first of many animatics out this month, so you all can finally start to see what I've been up to all this time!

Also i haven't seen many ppl talk about "lay me gently on the cold dark earth, no grave can hold my body down, I'll crawl home to her" vs "if the wind turns, if i hit a squall allow the ground to find its brutal way to me" and how both scream devotion but are on the opposite sides of it. One is prideful and stubborn, ready to fight for every scrap that could be part of the desired one, an image of hands on the soil, grasping it violently; the other is about admiring from afar, giving up from the strength of such feelings, it's about appreciating anything that comes that way, no expectations, no pretences. In I, Carrion (Icarian) it's devotion deprived of its fire, it is cold and distant, almost let down by its own existence. In Work Song it's passionate, fiery, ardently burning in one's veins. It's lustful and loving at the same time. The devotion in Work Song has known itself reflected in the other, while the one in I, Carrion (Icarian) is lonely, with no mirrors and simply servile to the other.
I, Carrion (Icarian) was Work Song before it lost its devotion reflected in the other person

In like a split second (literally) I had an epiphany for a Clarisse fic
Here me out!
Clarisse x Apollo!Reader but but... based off of Would That I 🧍🏻♀️
Idk if it's as genius as I'm making it out to be but it's honestly a perfect concept in my head
Especially with Apollo being so tragic in love (inevitably passing that off to his kids) and then the meaning behind Would That I. Like it just works so well to me

Mitski is a national treasure you do not fucking understand. “did you know the liberty bell is a replica silently housed in its original walls, and while its dreams played music in the night, quietly, it was told to believe”, “And you’d say you love me and look in my eyes but I know threw mine you were looking in yours”??!??!!
“If you would let me give you pinky promise kisses, then I wouldn’t have to scream your name atop of every roof in the city of my heart”, “And with everybody watching us, our every move, we do have reputations” WOMEN PLEASE STOP
“You’re the sun. You’ve never seen the night but you hear it’s song from the morning birds. Well I’m not the moon-I’m not even a star but awake at night I’ll be singing to the birds” MITSKI PLEASE I BEG OF YOU MY EYES ARE SWELLING FROM HOW MUCH I SOB

I really love the whole concept and design of this album so far🤍 It also reminds me of good times at uni because my degree was in English Literature so I’m loving this era😂
