Ah yes, my favourite time of year: the time when we figure out what the hell to get my grandma for her birthday

#it isn’t until august but it requires careful planning in advance #the woman is.. particular. about her tastes. and she is VERY vocal if she doesn’t like something #yes even if it’s a gift #she can legit be so rude.. she told the sales assistant in a car dealership ‘i don’t like coffee from these places’ #like ma’am what the hell does that MEAN #but she’s also the only reason i have any level of financial security. she helps me out a lot and i do love her even though she’s ridiculous #so we (me and my mom) have got to figure out what to get for her. especially since my uncle (only other descendant) is useless #he is going to give her a card and some random item someone gave him that he doesn’t want. guaranteed. #best case scenario is that it might be edible. worst case scenario it’s a repeat of the ugly bird clock incident of 2020 #(my granddad got rid of that thing by giving it to a recently bereaved neighbour. as if they didn’t already have enough problems) #anyway. so my usual go-to is to buy her jewellery of some kind but i’ve sort of bought myself into a hole with that #because she absolutely loves the bee necklace i bought her for mother’s day last year and hasn’t stopped wearing it since #and she also keeps wearing the opal earrings from christmas. so i’m a bit like.. what do i do now #my mom suggests ‘book’ but my grandma reads more than anybody and neither of us volunteer at the library anymore #so we can’t find out What she’s reading without committing a comedy heist or possibly bribing my old supervisor #i’m in favour of picking a random slightly lesser-known murder mystery author; or maybe buying her the new ruth ware since we know for sure #she’s never read ruth ware & she’d probably like her & also she can’t physically have read a book that’s not out yet #so. that. and probably some dark chocolates from her favourite chocolate shop #and i might knit her a case for her glasses since she really liked the one i made for mine and was making a huge fuss of it. idk though #i just want to do right by her since my uncle is an idiot and also she’s literally just bought me a trip to america. so. #i’ll think on it #personal

Clockwork paused in his work, gaze turning from his work towards his ghostling (it didn’t matter if he was an adult, he’d always be his ghostling) who was smiling nervously, avoiding his eyes. 

“Oh?” He kept his tone light, even as he worked on untangling a time knot. Honestly at least Danny was immune to any effect of time, even if he couldn’t look into his timelines in exchange. It came with being the other half of Infinity. 

“Yeeah… you know that corner of the multiverse you told me not to go to because you’re working on some time problems? I might have stumbled into one of the worlds in the corner…” 

He stopped his machinations, fully turning towards Danny- Space, his Core whispered and quivered in utter delight at having an Equal in power- with a raised eyebrow, leaning on his staff and silently telling him to explain. 

Danny poked his fingers together, giving a nervous laugh. “So uh, I was just exploring right? Well me and Ellie, you know how she gets when she can’t wander, and um… I er, we might have messed with some things in the creation of it… I didn’t know it was part of that universe, I swear! It was so far at the fringes and halfway into the Zone and I couldn’t just let a universe die before it began and-”

Oh- Oh! His ghostling (and his grand-ghostlings it sounded like) had claimed his first universe! He could put off these time knots, this was a grand milestone for any Ancient, nevermind such a primordial force as one of theirs.

And this is how a DC world came into being with humans evolving with more avian traits. Like wings. And claws. Look, Dan thought it’d be funny if they gave baby humanity wings and Ellie started rambling about how much farther they could travel if they had them and Danny thought it could be cool. Oh well, time to keep an eye on their itty baby world now…

how he will be intense and vague about everything just for the sake of it; to confuse you further, to see the conflict of emotions in your eyes merge with arousal. eventually your hesitance turns into acceptance, a desperate need to feel his hands all over you. and he will be oh so grateful to fulfill that desire.

how his thick tongue pushes past your lips and into your mouth, reaching almost the back of your throat, relishing in the muffled little sounds you make. your drool mixed with his saliva drips down your chin, and your hazy eyes look up at him when he finally pulls away, giving you a second to breathe.

how his hips are slamming into you relentlessly, your wetness and lack of resistance allowing him to move almost effortlessly. forced to hold onto him for dear life instead of pushing away. all of your morals and principles are being tossed out of the window every single time he comes to you. he has you where he wants you, and will not stop until he feels like you can't take it anymore.
