favorite trope, non g/t or g/t, go!
- 🧱
Finally got to this skskksksks
Oh man oh man uhhhhhh this one's soooo hard!!
I think favorite g/t trope is probably when there's a language barrier, not a full one but when the giant knows few words maybe some basic phrases and has to convince the tiny they aren't danger and why they act the way they do and because of them barely putting few random words together it doesn't sound sincere at all! :D
Also platonic love between a normal person and a sizeshifter I- my heart can barely stand it TwT
And favorite non g/t?
Am a sucker for fear play overall no matter the size!
But my favorite thing which I don't REALLY consider g/t are nagas. I used to be unsure about them, but now they are just so fun! The only thing better than a naga is a piebald naga with one hell of a human lusting appetite 👀

First art of the new year is all about re-structuring your internal monologue.
In my early 20s I was working full time in London with many social commitments and a variety of hustles and side projects.
In my later mid 20s I cater to many sensory and social drain needs I have and indulge in special interests while respecting my lower energy reserves and celebrating my different way of processing the world.
Did I get more autistic? Nah. I got less fake.

[Art description: Three panels showing figures on a black background. Long descriptions follow.
1. A drawing of OP as a person with hip-length hair and a dress standing sadly with her hands clapsed together in front of her. She is coloured a muted rainbow gradient. Behind her, two pairs of nondescript figures chat while smiling. White text says, ‘I’m getting more and more autistic the older I get.’ 2. OP’s colours are brighter, and her expression looks happier. Crayon-like scribbles have crossed out the text from the previous panel. 3. OP’s colours are vibrant, and she balances on one leg and throws her arms out as she dances. The text above has changed to say, ‘I’m becoming more and more myself the older I get.’ \End descriptions]

i don't talk too much about how trans women get treated in original posts because im not a trans woman and plenty of trans women on this site are sharing insights that i can just reblog but also sometimes i see other trans dudes talk about trans women in ways that make me want to step in 1 on 1 like "hey man, do you remember what it feels like to be a girl getting treated like a piece of meat by some guy you don't know then dismissed for standing up for yourself. because you're that guy now"

will never get the whole “don’t compare an artist’s work to another artist! don’t compare an artist’s original character to another character!!” Thing that people are always on about online. personally I think if you are sent into a spiral because somebody said “oh that looks kind of like Jhonen Vasquez did you watch a lot of Invader Zim growing up?” then you maybe don’t have the most healthy relationship to uh. art. in general.

I made this post the other day on impulse, it's mostly just me banging the old "reverse the nsfw ban" drum that I'm sure staff has already heard a million times. It wasn't meant to be like a researched thing, but I do want to say like, I know staff can't just flip a switch and magically turn the porn back on. I know FOSTA-SESTA is a thing, I know credit card companies are getting stricter, I know tumblr doesn't want to get pulled from the app store. I get all that. I'm sympathetic even. That doesn't mean I think it's impossible, or that it wouldn't be worth the effort both from a cultural and a financial perspective, but I get it. But folks
Folks it has been such a shit year to be an artist.
Between AI art, Imgur banning nsfw content, reddit's impending implosion, and twitter asphyxiating... it's fucking rough out there right now. And I'm lucky. I stayed on tumblr, and my content all falls comfortably within the (poorly defined, arbitrarily implemented) nsfw guidelines. There are thousands of artists way more talented than me, way bigger than me, who are starting from essentially scratch. Who are now picking up the pieces and figuring out where they can even go from here. You know how we always joke about how if you wanted to make money as an artist, draw furry porn? That... can't really happen anymore. You can open a patreon, get lucky, get some commissions, but the platforms for building a robust audience just aren't there like they used to be. It sucks.
Look, fact is tumblr doesn't have to do anything. They can do what they like, keep the nsfw policy in this nebulous grey area where they don't have to commit to repealing it or enforcing it. And that's probably fine enough for them. But if it's not going to be tumblr? I don't think it's going to be... anything. Not for a while. Not until we get something new.

Is it selfish of me to wish that Phil doesn't log on the qsmp tomorrow?
Like i care so much for Chayanne and Tallulah, don't get me wrong. But i care more for fair working conditions and making changes to the qsmp team.

Asks for you I have for your super market au.
From the lil snippets and chatting, I have to know.
If Dream views Tinies as pest and sapnap is protective of them, was this always the case or did their views change?
I’m also curious since noms are potentially part of your story, how do they work?!
Love hearing your rambles and sharing your world and I treasure every interactions❤️
First and foremost, thank you for the ask, I appreciate it so much even tho practically nothing but snippets is posted off of it 💜
Second of- let's get to answering these beautiful questions! :D
It definitely wasn't always he case, I will let some things intentionally vague but I'll say that Sapnap used to have a lot worse "ew ugly yucky pest" phase than Dream ever had. That said, Dreams heavily self-centered and closed in personality compared to Sapnap's more brash yet deeply caring and protective one is what set each of them on different paths. Even if Sap is initially repulsed by them- he just can't help but care for them!
Yessss noms are a big part of the story! I've seen various different approaches to safe noms from acid resistant tinies to storage stomachs but I wanted to do something a little different...
Very very basically, giants stomachs only digest food when hungry. Where our stomachs work as practically nonstop furnaces, giants store food in as it's being eaten and only when enough time passes from the last meal and they get hungry do they digest the contents. This allows them to save energy and also digest in very strong quick bursts (usually while asleep).
Everything still travels down to the stomach but when not hungry, this place is safe of any dangerous acids.
Hope that answered your questions mi amiga! Will absolutely be looking forward to seeing you around again ^^

wow...... MANY artists take requests randomly. this isn't the original anon, I just saw your post&was blown away by how rude it was. this anon wasn't even rude. artists are always putting out informationals with like guides on how to speak to them&it's the so egotistical&rude&controlling. I literally won't commission random artists anymore&only my close friends bc of these rules that change artist to artist&don't apply to everyone. anon asked you a simple question&was extremely nice about it&you chose to be an asshole in response. y'all act like you're training rabid dogs or something. just, say no, don't answer, or block the anon. like I can't figure out what ticked you off so much about that. talking to ppl like shit won't help them. it will just make people afraid to speak to you at all. anyways lol you're losing a follower&a fan. maybe let your anger out at the gym or something before you take it out on someone asking an innocent question. they truly probably thought "the worst they could say is no" &you proved them wrong. exactly the reason I no longer commission art from artists who aren't my close friends. my anxiety is too high to deal with the anger&your need to control how other people talk to you(even when it's not mean&they're just asking an innocent question).
Good lordt
Mate, I said "no hard feelings just letting you know this ask came across as rude" after we had a bit of a giggle about how funny it is that they hadn't stumbled upon the specific kind of fanart they wanted to see when IMO it's extremely common in the fandom, and then pointed them to another artist who had already drawn what they wanted to see.
"Don't ask/hint at artists to draw you things for free" is not being rude or demanding or egotistical, it's just a firm boundary. It's not a minefield to navigate, and artists who accept random requests usually say so somewhere in their bio/about. I also think blocking the poor anon would've been way more harsh and unnecessary than letting them know how their behaviour was perceived, cuz if they keep doing it, some other artist is going to be way meaner about it.

Aro-culture is trying to understand why society created the most ridiculous rituals and signs for romance and not finding a single answer/or that makes sense.
(No seriously, all the explanations I find are dumb. Send help)
.
#aro culture is#aro#aromantic#actually aro#actually aromantic#ask#mod axel#honestly all i got for u is that romance is a socially described category of emotion#and social categories are notoriously full of all sorts of cultural biases and assumptions and history that got lost to common knowledge#not to mention the human tendencies to create lil rituals that sometimes become big (ie knock on wood / slug bug)#so u end up with like. 'yeah u gotta not directly tell ppl that ur in romo with them immediately because...'#culturally it signals like. moving too fast or it's seen as embarrassing or you gotta do xyz things first#my sister advised me as a teen that in her experience and opinion - delivered like the words of a sage - if someone is bad at kissing#then they are bad at sex#(me [a kissing repulsed aro person who enjoys sex]: uhhh)#and honestly like. especially when viewed from the outside those things are fuckin wild#like... my mom came from a tiny backwoods type of place in [redacted]#and when i moved to [redacted] and one of the biggest cities in my state (though tbh not that big actually lol)#it caused all sorts of fun. she thinks it's exceptionally rude that not every single person on the street smiles and says hi#if there's not a crowd#she also gets really upset that service workers are less likely to make small talk#and both of those come from City Etiquette being more about like... not taking up ppl's time and attention and that being respectful#like smiling and saying hi to every stranger on the street is... honestly gonna be seen as a Huge Danger thing#and service workers do not have the *time* at most locations to chat with you - especially if it's busy - and it's seen as disrespectful to#both the workers and the people in line behind you to insist on it#but from her POV with Country Etiquette#this is equivalent to like. getting slapped in the face and told that you are specifically mad at her#and she gets legit anxious about it in a very 'this means i fucked up' way
