Lacrima keeps him healthy, if he uses too much magic it’ll make his immune system plummet

Gives off static electricity even without meaning too

As technology advances without the need of lacrima, Laxus short-circuits pretty much anything electronic he touches

Can create thunderstorms when feeling intense emotions

Deep maroon scales with bright yellow along spine

Can take any medicine when sick, nothing works on him unless it’s magic based

Has night vision, but his is the worst of the group, luckily his scales slightly glow

It's been 8 hours and I'm still not okay lol

I uh, finished FFXVI this morning around 7:30 am and I'm still not okay lmao

I really enjoyed the game.

I'll try to sum up my thoughts of it without anything spoilery

The Eikon battles were over the top, I have never had a game where each boss fight was more insane than the previous one. During the Titan fight I was literally hollering at my television.

The music was incredible for the whole game (with Soken doing the music I knew we were in good hands) I can't wait to get my hands on the soundtrack coming out at the end of the month

While I have seen some people have issues with the amount of side quests (especially towards the end) I felt that the side quests really helped flesh out the world and the characters of the game. I actually cared about the side characters...I actually wanted to see their stories wrapped up...and some of the side quests were really dark and emotional.

Combat was fast and fluid. I also thought it was nice that they let you pick story focused or action focused (story focus apparently makes the game easier and automatically equips you with accessories to help you do combos automatically in battle) I know some people were nervous going into the game with it being more action oriented combat but I felt they did really well with it. I had a lot of fun with the abilities and using different combinations of things.

The story was great. I was so invested in what was going on....and I just wanted to keep playing to see what was gonna happen next. It took a turn about halfway through and wow what a turn. I have never yelled "what the fuck" at a game so much in my life.

If you have a PS5 I highly recommend the game. It's not gonna be like previous Final Fantasy games game play wise but the heart of the series is still there.

Also I will not be posting any spoilers for awhile...at least two months. Trust me, you wanna experience this game for yourself, seeing everything first hand unspoiled made such a difference.

The game is girthy too (took me about 72 hours doing all side quests and hunts) and I'm still missing three trophies

i like the concept of a murder/detective mystery set in historical times like for example that subgenre of mystery novels set in ancient rome. i've never read those but the concept itself is intriguing. but imagine in other time periods too like, speaking of europe, the middle ages (the name of the rose comes to mind) or revolutionary france. it allows you to work with not only that era's available knowledge and resources to solve the case but also with the historical context too (just like in more modern works ofc)
