Before the plague years I enjoyed wandering in various parts of town and stopping in whichever cafe was near. I meet a few friends on Saturday mornings now @oldtowncoffeepdx and am grateful the owner @nicoletignor has kept the shop going as the virus abates and people return. I think of the places I’ve found in the past and enjoy the idea of visitors to Portland discovering a great cup of coffee, a warm room with friendly people, and coffee and chocolate imported by Nicole and roasted by her in the shop. So i already knew about the skitarii's legs, but im curious about how you feel about the admechs current place in the lore and what your wishlist of things to be added/happen is for them (and 40k in general too)

hmmmmm

dunno much about the actual, like, current state of the lore just since i haven't read the new codex yet. there's a fuckin LOT of it, but there's not a lotta, like, mundane stuff? the actual structure of the cult mechanicum and their beliefs isn't very clear beyond the surface level

anywho, realistic wish: get something about, like, the regular day-to-day life of a tech-priest, the politics of xenarism and stuff, just regular mundane things to make them feel a bit more. . . solidified

unrealistic wish: a major sect of the mechanicus rips itself away from the imperium and plunges the galaxy into desperate civil war on a scale not seen since the Horus Heresy
