For the final day of #WritersLodge we’re talking about our wins. I totally think I’m going to start doing this every month. It genuinely felt good to count the successes in a month where I was actually rather down most of the time (as I mentioned, my son’s school year somehow kicked MY ass). #WritersLodge Day 5 asks for your current scene’s setting. This is a hard one. Currently, I’m writing Book 3 of the Keys & Guardians series, The Keys of the Dawn. We’re on Instagram, a very visual medium, and the setting of my current scene is in the Dusk, a place that exists on the other sides of the dimensional rifts my characters work to close. So, I zeroed in a little closer. Here is the closest picture I found to the cave in the Dusk where my characters are currently hiding out, searching for an ally in a strange world. So I get to explore a whole new world.
