Work was supposed to be nutty today. And while it was, it was less hectic than I thought it would be. And so...I accomplished a lot!

Opened HP Fruit Fest

Filled my first Astrology Analysis request!! Which was a lot of fun even though my brain is now fried. (You try to writing a 7k astrology reading in 1 day.) (Oof.)

Oh also I did work things. What work things I don't quite recall but I definitely did them.

Oh also continued typing Astrology Analysis when someone came into my office to ask me a question. She was suitably impressed by me looking at and listening to her while still typing. It's a small flex but I'm FLEXING IT OKAY.

➤ The thing is about Teresa and how her personality works stems from how she views life.

She doesn't think she has a future or rather, the future she wants. Everyone expects her to do certain things in her life. To follow in her father's footsteps as some kind of leader, to make a great name for herself, anything that will boost the Ryder's name even further. While Teresa wants to make everyone proud and actually do great things, she doesn't know if she could do what they expect her to do. Joining the Systems Alliance military and being supportive for the Prothean Researchers is enough for her at the moment. Even when she did join in on her father to go to another galaxy, she did it because she knew it's expected for her to do so.

Don't get her wrong. She doesn't mind doing her job to join the System Alliance military or help with looking for the Protheans ruins or even help support the researchers who studied Protheans. It gave her something to do in life while she figured out what she wanted to do for her own self. Her decisions kept bouncing all over the place.

She may have some skills as a pathfinder, but it's nothing compare to Cora. So, at the time, Teresa never consider to be a pathfinder since Cora would be expected to take over the position. Up until Alec handed the position over to his children, causing Teresa to do a small panic because she didn't knew she was getting herself into this position. It doesn't help that before she left the Milky Way galaxy, her career of doing what she did crumbled around her, leaving her to search for something else to fulfill the spot on what she could do at the moment.

If asked if Teresa blames her father for what happened, she doesn't blame him entirely. Sure, he is the reason why she needed to figure something out because his interest in A.I. grew a little too much to be booted, causing a ripple effect for everyone else in the family. At the same time, she can't blame him. Maybe at the moment, she did, but after calming herself down, she took back the thoughts.

So, if you ask Teresa wanted she wanted to do outside of these positions - what she wanted to do and not what is expected - she'll shrug and say, "I don't know."
