Summary - Detective Sylvan Okeanoú is in for the ride of his life in this G/t murder mystery when his perspective is, unwillingly, shifted. In order to finally solve a year-long case of disappearances, get himself back to his previous standing, and preserve the lives of his loved ones, this cold-shouldered detective will need to learn to let himself rely on those who care for him. Oh, yes, and hopefully be held in gentle hands somewhere in the process.

iwtv casting department: let's have auditions with people from all over the world, so we can cast the best actors regardless of where they're from. iwtv writers: let's use the inconsistencies and contradictions of the original text to tell a story about the malleability of memory. Let's keep the beautiful language of the original text but move the story to a different time period. Let's not hide from the themes of race and sexuality. iwtv costume department: let's make elaborate pieces that reflect the characters identities. Also, lets make suits that fit the protagonists like a glove, and patterned leather shoes (even if they're barely visible). iwtv set design department: let's make a super detailed, super accurate recreation of New Orleans at the beginning of the 20th century. Even the lightbulbs have to be accurate. iwtv actors: let's pour our body and soul into this characters. Let's be sure we know their stories and motivations inside and out.

amc marketing department: let's have a shered social media presence for both interview with the vampire and the mayfair witches. This way we can bury iwtv's podcast under the mw's podcast. Also, let's make an instagram post celebrating alexandra daddario's birthday, but not one for sam reid.

There needs to be a Goncharov rumor that Francis Ford Coppola ghost directed it for Matteo JWHJ 0715, with fierce defenders of Matteo JWHJ 0715 as an original directorial voice versus supposed first hand accounts of Coppola on set directing, but all the accounts are at best circumstantial or debunked to varying levels also circumstantial to thoroughly.

He believes that salvation will be found in the roots of my soul. He digs his dirt-caked nails deep into my abdomen, searching for that holy place. I tell him, ain’t nothing about the soul worth wanting by god. Least of all mine. The soul is supposed to be some amalgamation of all that we are, all that we want, all that we could be. I try to tell him, there’s too much of us to fit in some unknown pit of our guts. 

Still, he’s on his knees, elbows deep in bile and intestines. He’s looking up at me like I could answer all the prayers he don’t want me to hear. He wants me to be something exotic, something foreign, something fantasy enough that it’ll rub off on him, give him something interesting, something to like about himself. He’s cute when consumed, so I don’t bother telling him I’m just normal.

as someone new to the cccc fandom i keep seeing all of these AUs of HMS with different names and I want to look into them more but it seems like theres a lot. got any sort of starting guide or direction if ur willing to share it?

OH god. no I do not unfortunately. I can't say there is any big directory. I know CJFS has AU threads, CJFS being the fan discord server.

As for my aus, I do try to use tags of names of each of my aus! Like sun down or eleutheromania or lacuna or swap! But for others. I can't say whether or not its the case?

If I had a bit more time tonight I'd go through and find all the big long rambly posts I've made but there are quite a few!

I know ones under the cjverse or cjverse chatroom tag are also from an rp I'm in which may have stuff from other people too.
