Please intentionally attempt to see the magic in everything. Everything is magic, even if you understand the "boring" reasons why things happen. Look at the magic in growing plants, the magic of your muscles flexing and retracting, the magic of your eyes and skull, the magic of a cat's purr.
It's all magic. Understanding the "why" is just understanding what makes things magical, it doesn't change that it's all significant and magic.

Character relations/opinions!
Alright before I post any more Battle Addict stuff I should probably explain what a League Council is. Here's a summarized diagram:
A Pokemon League is a region's network of specialized skilled trainers. It is run by the League Council, which includes finance, HR, marketing, PR, and other managing departments which are divided into different branches depending on who they work with.
This is all to say that everything gets messy very quickly when news of the diagnosis spreads through the network. Originally the diagnosis was supposed to be private information for only the Battle and League departments, however certain higher ups felt it was a safety risk and notified gym leaders as well in the event of future collaborations.
The network is mostly divided into people who are positive/neutral about the news, and people who feel negatively about the twins as a result. Coworkers who were already familiar/close with the two tend to be positive, or at least supportive, whereas those who didn't know them got another reason to avoid them. Some people think they should go on leave for "recovery", but some are more forward and want them terminated.
If you're wondering where Cynthia falls in this, she's a foreign top league worker (Sinnoh Champion) who is hosted in Unova. Basically she has dept. employees assigned to help her connect to people around the region and get different services if requested. She's basically watching everything unfold from the sidelines, with every interview about her opinion boiling down to "lol if you're scared of people stronger than you then get good". She does also bring up historic accounts of CM/HCCM though, mostly to clarify that CM is not a new or scary thing. She's not for or against the twins, rather just hoping to use this as an opportunity to teach others.
I didn't end up drawing her because I got tired but Elesa got the news too!! She actually got it before everyone else since the twins decided to go tell her beforehand. The general scene basically had Ingo and Emmet deliberating in the car, Ingo telling Emmet it's not too late to turn around and go home while Emmet was hesitant but adamant that they needed to tell her first. She probably took it the worst out of everyone but that's mostly just cause it caught her off guard that her friends would just randomly drop in to deliver the news. She's still rooting for them though, mostly trying to support the Subway with more collaborative events to make the twins look better after the hit from the media. She also tries to rework Emmet's restraints where possible, usually trying to make them look more cohesive with the rest of an outfit or trying to make them less visible (cause as much as Emmet says it's not a big deal it's still the first thing he looks at in his reflection).
Here's them in alt clothes :7
Man is cuffed under there (T_T)
Can't really think of too much to say so hope you guys like the art and see you later!

Geometry Dash trivia i just learned:
the most viewed video on the GD Archives channel is this:
clg0258 by 615164416515
which is some strange, obscure and quite frankly bad 1.6 level
and the reason this video in particular was so popular is because:
someone accidentally made this video an ad directed towards middle-aged Turkish women

a saw a post on here the other day that said something like "when someone says they can't do something because of their religious beliefs and you just have to be like 'ok.'" it was clearly incredibly dismissive and disrespectful, and I'm beginning to think a lot of you don't know or care how to respect other people's religious beliefs and choices.
Obligatory piss-on-the-poor disclaimer: I'm very sorry if you were raised very strictly christian, and yes, evangelicals trying to turn my country, the united states, into an evangelical country, pisses me off too. I believe in the separation of church and state, and I do not think religious beliefs should play any part in government or science. (in fact, an interesting tidbit I like to bring up is that jews do not believe a person becomes a person until they take their first breath, so fetuses are not people and stillbirths are not people, if we were going to make abortion laws according to jewish beliefs, then you could have abortions, theoretically, right up to term.)
back to the main point. if someone choses to honor religious traditions for themselves, and is not trying to force it on anyone else, then you fucking respect them. you don't scoff at a hijabi for wearing a hijab, you don't try and trick your friend who keeps kosher into eating pork, or even just act dismissive of it because "you know that's not real right? that your god doesn't exist and his rules are dumb and you're dumb for following them?" like what the actual fuck. how can some of you have so little respect for your fellow humans? and this applies to individual christians too. like as long as they're not being weird and pushy and in constant proselytizing mode, then you don't fucking make fun of them either. like this doesn't just apply to all us minority religions which aren't Big Evil Christianity.
I don't think some of you grasp that this stuff is like, important to us? Judaism is important to me. Following the traditions (ok not all of them, I am reform and eat bacon lol), and one day passing them on, is important to me. Keeping my faith and culture alive is important to me. I can't even come up with a metaphor to explain the importance of religion to people who follow one because any comparison would feel incorrect.
most of my friends are atheists. sort of comes with the territory of being a gen zer lol. and guess what it's literally fine? none of them try to "debate me" or make me feel like an idiot because I do believe in gd. I've actually had some really good conversations with one of my friends about all this stuff.
You don't have to agree with your friends' religious practices. You can think "I would never chose to do that myself." As long as they are choosing it for themselves and not harming anyone, though, you have to give them fucking respect. It's their life.
