if i may be a bit serious here, on my very own blog, i think the reality of mickey’s situation is that he knew he was gay or he knew that girls didn’t do it for him, but he also very likely did try to “make a girl work.” his situation with terry was so violent & so dangerous that he probably would have gone a lot longer/the rest of his fucking life with a woman to stay alive/in good graces/employed/housed/whatever the fuck he needed from & with terry. not to mention all of the internalized homophobia.

y'know i was just thinking that in literally ep/chapter 1 it's established that Blair is a magical cat that has nine lives. and then after being "defeated" Blair continues to live with Maka and Soul and even accompanies them on several important mission, growing to truly love them. and she has all these extra lives to spare. hmm. why wasn't anything done with that

The Slope by @megatron-fucks provides a great scene where Pharma gets to blow up on Ratchet about how he lost everything good in his life and faced a fate worse than death so Ratchet has no right to judge him.

But you know what else I really want to see and might write myself?

I want a post-Delphi scene where Pharma gets to verbally rip Ratchet apart about how he disowned Pharma and is acting as if the 'new Pharma' is a completely different person, but in reality Ratchet is just desperate to convince himself that Pharma was always a bad apple and the "best friend" Ratchet knew was either a lie or a person who's "died." Basically Pharma getting to lambast Ratchet about how 'the person he used to be' isn't some separate entity, that the old Pharma LITERALLY IS HIM and it's Ratchet who's a piece of shit for being unable to reconcile that Pharma could be his former best friend and also the monster he ended up becoming.

Mostly in regards to the aspect of canon where despite being former best friends, Ratchet made basically zero efforts to have any sympathy for Pharma or extend help/mercy to him and mostly used their former friendship to prey on Pharma's insecurities to manipulate him into doing what he wanted.

Of course it's a narration by Pharma so it might not be 100% correct or unbiased, but like. I just desperately crave some sort of resolution between Ratchet and Pharma. Or if not a resolution, at least some catharsis where Pharma gets to unload and Ratchet acknowledges he was a bastard.

Anon had no idea what they were talking about anyways. Giving a young person (the right) Pokemon can help them learn responsibility, and the gym circuits have been a way to teach independence for as long as I can remember. The circuits are safer than they ever have been and parents, professors, and other adults in circuit areas know to look for and assist any kids that need help. (There is also a reason why specific starters are chosen by professors, they're easily handled by kids).

Piano-centric video game tracks that I associate with Vivia

A majority of these songs are from my character playlist, but I feel like being my music man self and wanna ramble a lil bit about them while providing individual links to each song.

Darkness Falls (Deltarune) - The og piano-centric track I tied to Vivia like it was wrapped around his finger. Fits his sense of mystique and storybook-esque view of the world to a T.

My Castle Town (Deltarune) - I feel like this song would be one Vivia could play on his lonesome in the secrecy of the undisturbed hotel. If his perception of peace and quiet were to be a song, this would be it.

Laura Plays Piano (Silent Hill 2) - I'm a HUGE Silent Hill nerd, so it was instinct to pile up a bunch of SH2's tracks on top of Vivia like a warm, heavy comforter. I'm mainly showcasing this one because this song encapsulates the feeling of spectral projecting, wandering unseen among the living and dead. (Please listen to Silent Hill 2's OST, it is filled with so many good piano tracks that feel close to Vivia it pains me)

Breeze - In Monochrome Night (Silent Hill 3) - My personal favorite track from SH3, a slow burn instrumental that remind me of Vivia and Halara's dynamic specifically. I associate Halara with drum kits, as previously discussed in my post about each character's instrument motifs. The piano and drums work in tandem, creating a shockingly well-played duet.

By Your Side (Omori) - The warmth of a rare smile from Vivia, finding genuine happiness in his place within the agency. Surrounded by those who love and care for him, a stark contrast to his horrible home life, Vivia wouldn't trade this tranquility for anything else.

Lost Library (Omori) - The solace of a good book in the homely nook of the fireplace, guided by candlelight. No sooner does he rest just as easily in his own little spot, dreaming sweetly of a better life away from all the difficult truths hiding in a desk drawer across the room.

Guardian Battle Theme (Breath Of The Wild) - Don't you just hate it when your peace and quiet is threatened to be taken away from you? The anger that arises is subtle, but the flash of a blade sprouting from his hand is a clue unaffordable to miss. If you've managed to piss off Vivia, then you've sure as well earned it. Lookin' at you, Yomi.

Wielder Volo Battle Theme (Legends: Arceus) - If one small detective is the only thing that stands between Vivia and his peace and quiet, he'll do whatever it takes to force him away. Since Yuma wishes to see the truth that badly, then he'll have to fight him for it. Neither of them want it to be this way, but they must protect the one they deeply admire, unknowingly colliding into each other's beliefs of who the culprit really is.

#I'VE GROWN INTO A DEEPLY UNLOVABLE ADULT: playlist. #I know this is kind of a weird place to start with misao BUT I swear this song is relevant to her character jsjsj #During the 400 years she spent in Japan after she left home she had actually become acquainted with Japanese Pirates. #And she had joined them on their ' travels ' ( which basically just means raids / illegal exploits JSJSJ ). #But something unexpected happened during her time spent with them. There was one other woman on the ship and of course Misao wanted to try- #to connect with them as a result. And Misao was left being in complete wonder of her as she had never seen someone be so agile with a sword #before that point since the other woman in question ( her name was reika ) was known for being a BRILLIANT swordfighter. and due to her- #bunk being right above reika's they often found themselves have late night convo's with each other. And over time Misao felt this- #overwhelming feeling of warmth within her heart whenever she was around her as they soon began spending pretty much every single waking- #moment of their time together. And because Misao had never experience romantic love before this point she had thought she just held a deep- #admiration for Reika for a while. But then Reika volunteered to show Misao how to sword-fight and that's when she knew that she loved Reika #Because every single time she would physically correct Misao's stance with her hands or show her how to do a move more properly- #Misao felt this uncontrollable desire to kiss her. She just thought that Reika was so beautiful. And she wanted to have the spirit- #of a ' warrior ' just like her. And Misao was sooo in love with her that she wanted to find a way- #to make her immortal too. But decided not to when the topic was met with Pity by Reika whenever Misao finally revealed to her what she- #really is.
