What do you think of the idea of Cadence of Hyrule's Link being included. If for no other reason than to act as a reason for why Time was so young in his adventure?

What if the reason was that Rhythm bit it during the Hyrulean Civil War, so destiny had to course correct quick & in a hurry for there to even be a Link for OoT?

Also, the possibility of Rhythm having been Time's father & Harmony (CoH Zelda), Lullaby's mother?

Like, imagine if Time had either never been meant to be the Hero or, at the very least, he'd never been meant to do it alone.

I mean, I know the game ain't canon, but neither is HW to be fair. And I honestly just like speculating is all.

And me being me, I've already begun to speculate on his personality. Because of course I have.

I've honestly never heard of Cadence of Hyrule, so I can't give any input for that, but the idea that Time had to do his adventure so young because a Hero was supposed to be there and somehow vanished or died is quite interesting!!

absolutely delighted by the confirmation of a fourth element with which you can do necromancy

genuinely one of my favourite parts of DF's magic system is the fact that specific types of magic aren't bound to specific elements. There's traditional elements to use for specific types (e.g. light for healing & darkness for necromancy in the Land of Dragons) but even those traditions can vary by locations & culture! It's cool! And I love when it comes up!

I do love apocalypse world Cas being so deeply fucked up and evil. real Castiel is one of the kindest and most loving characters on the show. his years on earth since the apocalypse have changed him from someone dedicated to a duty to heaven into an extremely compassionate person. alternate Castiel has also left behind that stoic sense of duty, but has become warped and gleefully cruel.

and what's the difference between them? Dean Winchester! real Cas gripped Dean tight and raised him from perdition and then he started to love Dean and then he learned to love all of humanity. without Dean's influence apocalypse Cas is every bit as dismissive and condescending towards humans as any of the other angels.

Hester said the very touch of Dean corrupts, but it's just the opposite. it redeems, if uplifts, it sanctifies. from the moment Castiel laid a hand on him in hell he was saved.

trying to explain game logic sometimes in fics is weird-- obviously ones like "how does the character store 100 items in an inventory that doesnt even physically exist on them, like with a bag" i usually just dont explain it, and have characters pulling shit out vaguely from Something. but one i hardly think about is all the RPGs with those large parties of multiple companions you can swap out. where do the other guys go when you pick the few you need? are they just wandering around? are they all sitting in the same place?? idk man

i do really love that they’re hammering home how terrifying and evil vader is because i think in this show of all star wars media it would be easy to get caught up in this being anakin (played by hayden no less) and we all know how this will eventually end, we know the scene in return of the jedi where anakin and obi wan stand side by side again as friends and brothers, it would be so easy to remind us of that as soon as we see vader. but instead he’s as terrifying as ever and it really drives home the importance of luke still seeing that bit of good left in him

#like of course he's terrifying in jfo and rogue one but i think the kenobi show in particular #where we are being reminded constantly of the prequels and their friendship #it would be that much more tempting to bring their eventual make up to the forefront #but they made him more horrible and made it seem even more impossible that anakin could be saved #which is fun! #star wars

I will say, I'm surprised by how administration's been handling my recommendations for the graduate class this year- any other year would see the sonnet sequence dedicated to the 'lovely boy' get push back, but they've been rather lax this year.

RIGHT?? originally i was using the captains but i thought the top aces would be better (especially since i had ushijima as the champion, it all just kinda went together)

for hinata, he's kageyama's rival! or like, he considers kageyama his rival but the feeling isn't mutual. he's not particularly skilled but he is very enthusiastic and he has great bonds with his pokemon!!!

unfortunately i haven't done any like... team building for him rip. he won't specialize in any type but i do want to lean a little towards flying-types for... obvious reasons haha. i also think i want to try and choose pokemon that people might underestimate? like they see his team and think "lol his pokemon suck" and then he beats them. very rough ideas! i wanted hinata to be kageyama's rival from the start but i haven't done as much thinking about his team as i have kageyama's which is... unfortunate.
