So I found out I probably need a walker.

internalized ableism in tags but I'm going to clarify that this is only directed to myself and I think other disabled people are cool as hell and none of the things im describing myself with. #god i feel so fucking pathetic. #i dont think i deserve one. im not in *enough* pain. #i still have days where i can move unassisted without pain. #so i feel so fucking pathetic for feeling like i need one. im not in enough pain to justify it. #but at the same time it hurts. it hurts so much. every step hurts. every movement hurts so much and its getting harder every day. #but. its not ALL the time so i should just shut up and deal with it. #im trying to do thought excercises with my boyfriend right now and its helping. him saying stuff like #'if someone else was in your situation would you think they would need a cane or walker?' and my answer is yes of course. #and it is making me feel better but at the same time i just feel so feeble and helpless in my own body. #i need help. i need help so much. but theres also other disabled people who are in much more pain than me. #so why should i think i deserve extra help when other people have it so much worse. i'm *lucky* i'm not in as much pain as other #disabled people. #i feel like i should just count my blessings and deal with the pain. but. it hurts. it hurts so much every day. and i dont know what to do. #i cant actually get help until i move out of my dad's place since. he'd kick me out since he thinks i'm going to end up like my mom. #lying to get drugs and moving on to harder non medical substances. but. thats not what i want to do. #in fact ive told every doctor ive had about my family's addiction history. all of my medicine for my depression and anxiety are on #low doses they give to people who are pregnant to make sure theres no chance i get addicted or too dependent on the medicine. and like. #the one time i didnt get that was from post-surgery pain medicine my doctor described. a highly addictive intoxicant. but. #it only made me paranoid and afraid and it made me sooo scared. i hate the feeling of being intoxicated. it horrifies me. #but he'll still kick me out if i get help and i have nowhere to go. #so im just trapped. and im in so much pain. but its getting so hard to be a person. but because i live with him and hear him every day #im internalizing it so much. clearly i have to be faking right? how dare i claim to need all of this when there's actual disabled people #who actually need help #god. #im so pathetic. #i don't like how i am. i hate myself for wanting help i havent *earned*. #and i know. i know that's stupid. and if i met another person in as much pain im in i'd definitely say they need a walker and/or cane and #that they deserve to get the help they need to live their life. #but its me. so its different.

Youve been a fan of Walker for a few years now. When you saw the Adam Project something was pulling you towards him. Following him on Instagram you gave it a rest. Its when he got his role of Percy Jackson on Disneys new spin off is when he really blew up. You saw all the behind the scenes and interviews he was in. The show itself was amazing, other than the slight jealousy you would feel here and there but thats normal for any teen.

He quickly became a HUGE celebrity crush for you. You knew that everyone felt like that for a celebrity crush but Walker felt like a school crush. You felt like you knew him. And like any cleberity crush, you told your best friend, your mom, your dad, your sister, your brother, your cat/dog, your school friends your not as close to, yiur favorite teacher, your least favorite teacher, and the old lady next door that loved hearing you talk.

“No you dont understand, hes different. I feel like I ACTUALLY know him.” you ranted to your best friend at your guys lab station in science.

“Y/n, hes just a celebrity. Half of the teenage girl population feels the same way you do right now.” She responded sort of knocking some sense into your brain. It didnt quite reach the part of your brain responsible for common sense as you still felt the same way.

“Please tell me this is for me.” He sort of yelled as he tried to make his voice louder than his screaming fans.

“Yes, yes of course.” you giggled as your shaky hands gave it to his. You noticed how his hands gently went over yours. Then the screams of fans changed. They went from begging for his attention to being on them to sounds of awes and your personal favorite; “are you guys dating” “is that your girlfriend”

When he walked away though your eyes and heart didnt miss the way his head turned back around to see you, that smile was back on his face.

When you got home you were euphoric. Walker THE Scobell noticed you and you were freaking out STILL.

Your phone buzzed again. A more agressive vibration so it wasnt a imessage.

‘Walker Scobell followed you!’

Your heart dropped into your ass.

siiiigh. todd autism headcanons because im projecting.

(using they/he/she pronouns for todd in this post. will explain but also if u dont agree i dont care, tw for alcoholism. time period is vague but autism hasnt existed as a legitimate medical diagnosis for all that long, so keep it in mind i guess.)

- cannot for the life of him stand welton's blankets. so itchy, just thin enough to not warm you up enough but still make you sweat, not long enough to cover your entire body. yes im making the blanket line in their poem about actual blankets, a boy needs to vent somewhere.

- beyond terrible temperature regulation, ALWAYS just a little too hot which is made worse by her sensory issues when it comes to wet fabric. constant slight agony and it never really goes away. theyre about 5 minutes away from crying about how uncomfortable they are at all times.

- had god awful handwriting until high school, like his teachers could BARELY read his handwriting it was Bad. - had a VERY INTENSE special interest in aquatic life + marine biology growing up, like read every book about any ocean animal in any library intense. his parents eventually forced him to abandon it because its "not a good career focus" but he still perks up when anyone mentions fish. once talked neils ear off about the biodiversity of coral reefs for roughly 2 hours, neil took her to an aquarium for their first date. rip todd anderson you wouldve loved spongebob squarepants.

- looooves pets, namely cats, but they have Too Sweaty hands all the time so any animal fur sticks onto their hands and just feels. so awful.

- had a brief period in his 20s where he was definitely an alcoholic, started as a social drinker but got too addicted to the feeling of not having to adhere to social conventions quite as hard, especially around other drunk ppl. eventually went sober after they realised they just Cant Stand the feeling of a hangover anymore. autistic ppl r more likely to develop a dependency on alcohol if we do start drinking. just btw.

- gets a Pretty Expansive vocabulary after actually starting to pursue literature. sometimes his family lightly teases him about using big words but it confuses the hell out of him. its just a word she thought would apply best!!

- soooooo obsessed with what other ppls idea of them is, both in an anxious way and out of genuine curiosity. would never ask ppl what they think of her bc she thinks thats 1) very broad 2) seems compliment fish-y and 3) just gonna lead to "i think ur great/ nice/ whatever filler compliment." but the dream is to sit someone (neil) down and just ask him every single question possible about how he perceives him.

- asks a billion clarifying questions about anything someone asks him to do, gets anxious about how many questions he's asking, tries to just figure it out, freaks out about the possibility of getting it wrong, ends up doing the thing perfectly. weekly occurrence.

- never fully grasped the appeal of religion (most definitely grew up catholic or christian or Something) just bc she could NOT let the lack of proof go. ALSO not an atheist bc the vastness of space scares them out of it. religious beliefs r a weird topic for them.

- suppresses a good chunk of his stims in public bc One total time someone looked at him weird while he was chewing on a sweatshirt string and he was like i gotta stop NOW. eventually develops tics and has to mask THOSE in public too. dear god someone let this girl unmask. also i started ticcing while writing that bc my body does this great thing where i only tic when im reminded of the concept of ticcing. its great and totally doesnt make me think im faking them (faking for who? dunno bc it usually happens when im alone)

- DOES in fact stim around neil bc NEIL STIMS TOO!!!!!!!! joyous day when they found THAT out! gets vocal stims of random lines from whatever play neil is practicing for. YEAA ART THOU THEEEEREE was a vocal stim for a solid week and a half which made neil VERY excited (autistic neil. how i love u autistic anderperry)

- velcro is The most evil vile disgusting material to ever grace this mortal realm. he hates it more than anything ever and i mean that fully. the feeling of BOTH sides, the noise, how easily it comes apart, she hates it all.

never really viewed gender and gender roles as anything to adhere to beyond the fear of punishment if they dont. finds any social convention relating to gender to be Really dumb and meaningless, bc gender isn't (scientifically) real in any capacity, so why treat it like that? for the longest time just shrugged and said "eh, i guess im a boy" bc thats what she was used to being told, and didn't feel particularly drawn to agree OR disagree. eventually realised on a late night that Wait. i dont Actually care what i am. like yeah im a Male i guess but also im just me. my brain doesnt have a gender and i basically am my brain, right? and then never really thought about it again because that's genuinely how little he cares. adhering the most to canon with that mindset, she never really tells anyone (for obvious reasons on top of the overall apathy) and just lets the he/him happen to her but. in my dream world? agender they/he/she todd anderson. and this is MY blog so those are the pronouns im using from now on. i will forever love talking abt how autistic ppl very often view gender differently than allistic ppl, will forever love talking abt how autistic ppl are more likely to be trans. autism!!!

I need to make something clear or else the fans might attack me and send me threats, I like this show and was kinda scared to post this but I gotta say it........

.......Anyways, Im just rant about some excuses for Helluva Boss that are just not good excuses when fans defend the wrighting.

1. "If you dont like it dont watch it 🙄"

So this excuse I hear a lot when fans are backed into a corner and cant protect the critisisms from the show (Sorry I am tired, so my spelling might not be that good) And even if people deny it they use this excuse anyways without giving a good argument to why whatever critism the show gets is wrong.

Also I told this to someone before, but by the logic of this excuse, that means anyone who watches and said they openly hate a show like Velma or High Gaurdian Spice secretly likes it.

(I am gonna bring these shows up a lot to use them as examples. Should probably mention now that I dont like either Velma or HGS, but Helluva Boss has SOME THINGS in common, not ALL THINGS, but SOME)

2. "The Series isnt finished, you should wait for it to be done"

Now to an extent this one is ok. Like for example: If Aang from ATLA were going on a journey to learn how to Waterbend, Earthbend, and Firebend to defeat the Firelord, then obviously its gonna take awhile and shouldnt be like "wHy DoEsNt He BeAt HiM NOW!!!". BUT that does not mean you cant critisize the episodes where Aang might get out of character, Katara does something that will leave a bad taste in your mouth, or anything that might not be good writing.

Yes Helluva Boss isnt finished, but thats still a bad excuse for defending the writing. You should still put effort into the writing. Like the fight between Blitzø and Stolas was resolved in A TEXT MESSAGE AND PEOPLE SAY ITS GOOD WRITING. IT ISNT!!! Like if your most emotion point in your show is going to be resolved in something we dont see happen, then there is no growth to the characters. (Saying this is an easter egg is just another excuse for bad writing.) People say that later on it might get resolved and that we should be patient I call bull crap. In S2E2 Stolas and Blitzø are not even akward around eachother, so I highly doubt future episodes will talk about this.

Also, I just thought, shouldnt shows like Velma also go for its excuse? Like its getting a Season 2, so we shouldnt judge the show until its finished right? I dont wanna hear "Its because Velma ruined Scooby Doo!" Or "Velma is an acception since it can make my eyes role" Nope!!! We gotta wait till Velma is over to fully critisize it.

2.5 "You shouldnt be comparing VELMA to HELLUVA BOSS!!!"

Gonna bring this up since SOMEONE WILL. But I do NOT like Velma, I think its crap. I like Helluva Boss, not a fan of the stans and a lot of things Viv says and does. They can not take Critisism. She says she can but accually doesnt. And I kinda realize that there are some things Velma does that people role their eyes at, but when Helluva Boss does it, they get praised for it. Again, I 👏DO 👏NOT 👏LIKE 👏 VELMA. Im treating it equal to other shows, when Velma does something everyone hates it. When Helluva Boss does it everyone likes it. For example, the Swearing and Sex jokes. When Velma does it, people say that they swear and do sex jokes for no reason and it ruins the mood. But when Helluva Boss does it (Which keep in mind, 90% of the dialoug is sex and swearing.) It gets praised. Just wanted to point it out.

3. "Its Hell, what do you expect? 🤡"

I saved the best for last. Yall probably heard this one before lol. So, Im just gonna say that yes the characters do live in hell and that can lead to their bad behavior and cruel humor. The issue that I have is that will be used to defend bad writing. Yes they live in hell, but that doesnt mean 90% of the dialoug should be sex, swearing, and angst. Yknow the end of Unhappy Campers where Moxxie and Millie dressed as siblings and had sex on stage infront of minors? "But its hell!" Yes, BUT its out of character for Moxxie and Millie. MOXXIE ESPECIALLY!!!! ITS ALSO GROSS LIKE HOW IS THIS FUNNY?????

There are also double standards. For example when Stella turns out to be a abusive bish, we are made to suppose to hate her. But when Loona was abusive to her adoptive father who took her in and gave her love, we are suppose to laugh??? Also, dont say "But he threatened to replace her!" No, Loona brought it up AFTER she was attacking Blitzø and he roled along with it.

"But its Hell!!!" my butt. If Stella is abusive to make Stolas look like a justified character and her unlikeable, then why should I like Loona? And no, trauma is not an excuse. She is 22 and she has control of her own self.

And like??? If I were to write a story of some unlikeable guy in New York City who killed people for no reason, should my excuse be "Its society, what do you expect? This is life, get over it."

Conclusion

In conclusion, if you accually want to defend the writing of your horny demon show, then find accual critisms. Again, I👏 Like👏This👏Show. But when Fans and Viv shield any critisms and just see it as blind hate, it makes me upset. Most people who critisize this show like it. The thing is, if we praise or ignore something that needs to be critiqued, then the writing wont get any better. If we critisize it, then there is a chance that Viv will realize she needs to put effort into her wrighting.

I like this show, it inspired me, but Season 2 is such a downgrade from the previous season.

Ur post on Vox is based. Vox was clearly hurt by the situation, but when you consider everything Doki was going through at the time, do you really think she WANTED to do that? Suicidal thoughts don't just appear and disappear in a flash, we have no idea how long she's been feeling this way and thats going to change her behavior. People can do things they otherwise wouldn't when their life is at risk, what Doki did wasn't good but considering her mental state, Vox making that information public and inviting further harassment towards her just because he's hurt is not acceptable. It doesn't matter how many times he says not to spread hate, we have all seen how little that matters in this space (just look at everything Mika and Reimu went through). I think management is the real villains here - pitting livers against each other to distract from their own wrongdoings. There was no reason to have shown Vox those documents other than to make him upset, and putting him in an easily manipulated emotional state seems awfully convenient for management.

yes, fucking exactly. there was NO reason to show the livers that document other than to freak them out. what niji is doing seems entirely simple to me. they turn the livers against selen by showing them the private documents. they turn the public against the livers by making the livers do that horrible stream. i wouldn’t be surprised if they were also trying to turn the livers against each other. anything, anything, to stop people from turning against them.

HOWEVER.

i would argue that vox did not intend or want to make that info public. i am nearly positive he was forced by contract or by threat of losing his job to make that statement. we know these livers, we know how out of character all these claims are… this is a high-stress for the livers still at niji as well (see my post where i said they’re allowed to be upset due to Agency Falling Apart). they aren’t gonna say everything perfectly. they’re trying to stay in the public’s good graces and also keep their jobs— do you see how hard that is?

vox and everyone else are probably anxious out of their mind just trying to do right by everyone, and hurt, and confused, and scared. i don’t think it’s right to hold him accountable for his actions under an agency like kurosanji— we’ve seen what they’re willing to do.

the real villain is management. don’t lose sight of that.

"Do you think our families are okay?" He asks, barely a whisper in the quiet space. You stared down at your hands and let out an awkward laugh. "Is it bad that I haven't thought of them at all since this shit started?" He shakes his head with a small smile. "I just remembered them too actually." You hummed. You notice how he opens his mouth sightly before closing it back and turning his head around, pretending to inspect it. "What?" He acts confused. "You were gonna say something just now, what was it?"

He stutters as he's confronted, trying to convince you it's nothing. "Just spit it out Jace, we're like, a thunder away into dying."

"If you die on me, do you think I'll have any spark of hope left in me to go on?" He wasn't smiling either now. "I won't die." You assure him. He remains tense, the new fear of you dying begins to haunt him. "Maybe we could just sleep for a very long time, and it'll all be well when we wake up." You dreamt aloud, earning a raised brow from him. "Oh I wish so too."

"Do you want to hold my handas?" He asks suddenly.

If it was during anytime else, you'd tease him of it, you'd tell him; if you wanted to touch me, just say that. And you'd hold it before he could say anything else. If the world is ending you'd know the right things to say to him, the right response to his assurance and comfort.

But the world is ending, so you said what you wanted to, all the things you wished you've said before and never did. "If you wanted to touch me, just say so." He chuckles sincerely, showcasing his perfect teeth. "If I say yes, will you finally come sit closer to me." You tilt your head towards the ceiling, pretending to think. "So stubborn, up until the end." He mutters.in an annoyed tone.

"You come here, I'm not moving." You decided, making him roll his eyes but complied to your demands anyways

You give a good look at his face once he's next to you. "Better?" He whispers. "Better." You nod. Turning your head back to your front, you let your eyes shut close as your head leans into his shoulder. Seconds after, you feel him leaning into you too. It took less than an hour for the both of you to fall deep into a tiring dreamless sleep.

"No showers then?" He finishes up the noodles and carries yours to eat in bed. You thank hin as he places the warm bowl in your hands. His grip on your waist is a bit stronger, though you were as light as a feather to him,"You're more than beautiful to me Y/n. You are Irreplaceable, Intelligent, your personality like no other–"

Illumi wasn't so good at expressing his feelings. He was still so new to it. So to you, for him to say something like this it was absolutely cute to you. "Thank you Illumi". Majority of the time Illumi was emotionless, there were rare moments when he shown emotion. Because he wasn't so good with words he made sure to show you. Fortunately, this was one of those moments. Illumi's movements were so smooth and airy. Once the both of you pull away from eachother, you pulled him into another kiss by his shirt collar. Which caused him to lose his balance. His hands reaching out before him to keep himself from crushing you, caging you in against the tree; his hands were placed on each side of you.

Pulling away, Illumi whispers lovingly to you. "Ha...So pretty–"

The two of you freeze. You push Illumi away, proping yourself up against the tree.

"T-Tsubone! Heyyy..! Oh! Miss Amane too?"

The pair just gazed at you two, Illumi dusts himself off as he got out of the bushes you'd just pushed him in. "Master Illumi, your mother is waiting for you. I recommend not keeping her waiting any longer."

"Yes", Illumi grabbed your wrist leading your wrists and leading you past the two butlers,"Next time, please refrain from interrupting Y/n and I's intimate time together."

They both bowed as you walked past them. You'd look back waving to the both of them. Now looking forward at Illumi, accidentally catching a glimpse of his flustered face. It was obvious he was embarrassed Tsubone caught the two of you on the verge of making-out.

You stop him, this grabbing his attention as you instead of his hand clasping your wrist, you intertwine fingers. You can almost see a smile pierce his face. This time you drag him along.

His eyes staring, falling in love with you again. Something about you makes him question..How could he get so lucky with a wonderful person like you? Always so outgoing, so smiley, so happy. You were what illumi needed in this world.
