YEAH IT'S JEAN LOL <3 he joined the church with renee when he was 15-16 and they took him in from a really bad home life so he was just essentially trained to be a priest since that age! they paid for a bachelors degree in theology for him and all, he lives there, he's a perfect and sweet little priest if you ask me. at first it was less for faith and more so because the pretty girl jean liked was in the church, but it does eventually grow on him, especially as someone whose living situation used to be very unstable.

so he becomes a priest and everything is pretty well and fine until kevin accidentally crashes his bike onto the church's front lawn and has to do some community service (can you imagine). he is only somewhat catholic but he does look so very beautiful and he is totally unaware of himself when his shirt riles up and jean is quickly in a hell of his own making <3 it's a very Innocence that corrupts kind of idea because i love the idea of someone causing someone else to lose their faith without even meaning to, and more so the idea of faith as something that can be naturally worn down!!!! accidental maneater kevin day do you understand. he calls jean father moreau once
