Aliens: Bishop will be published in hardcover, e-book, and audio book on December 12 via Titan Books. The 496-page novel is written by T.R. Napper (36 Streets, Neon Leviathan).
It serves as a direct sequel to Aliens and Alien 3 in which Weyland-Yutani, Colonial Marines, and Bishop’s creator all pursue the android for the Xenomorph data contained in his brain.
Massively damaged in Aliens and Alien3, the synthetic Bishop asked to be shut down forever. His creator, Michael Bishop, has other plans. He seeks the Xenomorph knowledge stored in the android’s mind, and brings Bishop back to life—but for what reason? No longer an employee of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, Michael tells his creation that he seeks to advance medical research for the benefit of humanity. Yet where does he get the resources needed to advance his work. With whom do his new allegiances lie? Bishop is pursued by Colonial Marines Captain Marcel Apone, commander of the Il Conde and younger brother of Master Sergeant Alexander Apone, one of the casualties of the doomed mission to LV-426. Also on his trail are the “Dog Catchers,” commandos employed by Weyland-Yutani. Who else might benefit from Bishop’s intimate knowledge of the deadliest creatures in the galaxy?
Pre-order Aliens: Bishop.

Expect soon a post about me rambling about Isa Palant because she's a character and maybe if we all dream hard enough we could have what she had in the end. She's living the life we, monster lovers, cannot
She's from the Rage War trilogy. I really recomend the series, besides the fact it has our beloved hunters, the buggy bois and our fantastic mega company aka weyland-yutani, all the sci-fi scenario is enjoyable, check it out!

thinking about how the reveal that ash was a company shill (and also an android) recontextualizes his decision to bring kane onboard.
like, we’re made to think he let the facehugger inside because he was stupidly blinded by his comradery and fear for his coworker, causing him to be short sighted and endanger the entire nostromo. you still side with ripley for being rational and logical, but it’s easy to see that you yourself could do what ash did if someone you cared about was in trouble.
but then we find out, nope. him breaking standard procedure to bring kane onboard was not for kane’s benefit at any point, it was for the company. he was knowingly condemning him to one of the most agonizing and violent fates in movie history. and he had the nerve to call ripley uncaring when she gave him shit for breaking quarentine and endangering the crew. my brother in christ, she wanted a 24 hour quarantine to avoid potentially bringing a parasite onboard, and you prolonged his suffering just so he could be forcibly empregnated then explode from the inside out. so many thoughts about this crew and how evil weyland yutani is

A xenomorph holding a decapitated space jockey head. The idea being that maybe this could be the xeno who killed the space jockey in original Alien movie. Digitally painted by me.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007, The Strause Brothers)
05/03/2024
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is a 2007 film directed by the Strause Brothers.
The film was released in the United States on December 25, 2007, in Germany and Australia on December 26, 2007, and in the rest of the UE on January 25, 2008.
From the corpse of the Predator Scar, infected at the end of the first film, a Predalien emerges, a Xenomorph born from Yautja and therefore much stronger than a Xenomorph born from a human.
Mrs. Yutani is the one who will soon co-found Weyland-Yutani.
Work began on September 25, 2006 in Vancouver, also changing the name several times.
In Italy, viewing of the film was prohibited for minors under 18, while in the United States only for unaccompanied minors under 17.
However, it received heavy panning from critics, recording a 12% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film also received two nominations for Worst Prequel or Sequel and Worst Pretext for a Horror Film at the 2007 Razzie Awards.
