Is Remy connected with orc culture? does he still speak the language or feel connected to the orc tribe? Ollie seems very connected to his roots, but not so much Remy. He grew up in the same tribe as Ollie, and Ollie seems to miss his tribe and still speak the language, but they had very different experiences. By the way you answered the last ask the orc tribe was kind of traumatizing to Remy

YEEHAW Remy is nooot connected with his orc roots in fact he'd rather just convince himself it was all a bad dream which is why Ollie may speak orcish whether by accident or instinctively when he's talking to Remy (im sure Kari hears sum orcish curse words slip out in the bedroom lmfao) but that will be the only time Remy will speak orcish is in response otherwise he'll just speak english (or whatever language they speak in that world?? could be something else entirely not of this world??)(and ANOTHER side note: typically when Ollie is speaking orcish in the comic it's in a black speech bubble but that's not rlly important until much later) and tbh maybe Ollie even has a slight accent from speaking orcish all of his childhood but Remy didn't talk much at all when he was in the orc community. The way it was b4 that orc tyrant took over was full-blooded orcs would fight in battles and get different ranks and be on leadership boards ect. while half orcs could make weapons and hunt ect. but they weren't allowed to fight in any battles or be in any position of leadership, they could even have lil coming of age events hence where Ollie got his bone necklace from was basically a "ur not a wee babby time to kill a big horrible beast by urself and harvest anything for a trophy" thing and he chose the teeth (its still goretober so im showin these off lmfao):

while the members of the community who had even less orc blood in them aka Remy being only like 25% orc bc his momma is a half orc and his dad is ssssomething else entirely??, they were only allowed to do farm work, harvesting crops, tending to animals getting supplies ect. sO that left Remy to tend to the chickens bc that's what he liked. Ollie didn't quite understand the restrictions when he was little so he'd sometimes take Remy hunting with him which never really ended well bc Remy was a tender lil soul and had a hard time killing things. That's another reason why Remy never really fit into the tribe bc all the hunting and brutally killing and eating an elf raw or even another orc was too much for him and he never wanted to be a part of it. anoTHER reason is Remy's mom wasn't reeally the best mom so she'd kinda just leave Remy in the chicken coop all day without checking on him so Remy was genuinely just alone with some chickens unless Ollie came to "pester" him or Ollie's momma made him bring Remy along bc even Mogak got more concerned abt Remy's wellbeing than his own mother. It was Super hard for him when butchering day came and they'd come in and take a bunch of chickens and Remy just had to let it happen so after finding Remy curled up in a lil ball with big teary eyes holding chicken feathers, Ollie started to keep track of when butchering day was and would trick Remy out to go on 🌄an exploring adventure🌄 before they came to get the chickens so he didn't have to witness all that. After Ollie built a lil makeshift skatepark in a cool secret spot he found he would take Remy there too so that allowed Remy a little more to do and some enrichment for him so thats how they both got into skateboarding but yeah even after all the Trauma happened Ollie did still have rose tinted glasses on for the orc community but Remy definitely gets a bad taste in his mouth over it hence this section:

this is gonna start at step 2 bc thats where it’s more Interesting

during step 2, edie is an INCREDIBLY anxious girl; she got into an accident when she was 10 and became disabled, so she has to walk with crutches or a leg brace which makes her feel very insecure, mostly bc she would rather die than stand out at ALL

bc edie is so insecure she really latches on to basically anyone who gives her any form of attention, so when derek starts looking out for her n making sure she’s included in things, she IMMEDIATELY starts crushing on him. it’s different w cove, bc at first she had a crush on him too but realised it was more of an infatuation, mainly bc he was just someone new and interesting. cove has no idea about this, and she’ll take that secret with her to her grave. she almost hopes that by pushing her emotions down and ignoring them they’ll go away on their own - which obvs, they don’t. because of this insecurity, she finds herself really upset by derek’s marriage pact and denies it outright, mainly because at this point she doesn’t WANT to feel like she’s just an option for him when she’s spent so long being basically as in love as a 13 year old can be. 

after she turns 18 during step 3, she’s absolutely MISERABLE. she has no idea what she wants to do with the rest of her life and feels very pressured to follow Liz’s success. she’s drifted away from cove a little bit, but still considers him her friend; however, she does still stay in touch with derek, and he's basically her lifeline at this point bc he magically seems to understand what she’s going through. She does a bunch of crazy shit to her appearance, like getting tons of piercings, getting tattoos, and dyeing her hair, because if everything in her life is out of her control, she can at least control how other people perceive her. she did really well in school, but during her high school years it took more and more effort to keep her grades from slipping. 

between steps 3 and 4, she’s resolved to move to an entirely different country to start her whole life over from scratch. she studied law and criminology in England, rents her own place, gets in a few long term relationships, and nearly completely cuts contact with everyone she knew in Sunset Bird. while it worked for a while, she found herself feeling incredibly homesick and miserable. she hated to admit it, but she was lonely. once she graduated, she had no idea what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. she started a career as a clerk at a law office, hated it, and floated between a lot of different jobs while juggling a toxic relationship, loneliness, and post-grad study all at the same time. she decided that enough was enough, and reached out to derek for support; this is FINALLY where things start looking up for our girl. 

step 4 happens, she visits derek, and all of her feelings come rushing back all at once and it takes ALL of her effort to not immediately confess her love for him when she first sees him (because she’d just gotten out of her last relationship and didn’t want to rush into anything). but to hell with that, as soon as derek offers to have her live with him, she immediately accepts and they get into a relationship. she feels like she’s spent too much of her life taking things slowly because of her own insecurities, and she’s not gonna let them stand in the way of her happiness anymore. she and derek would get married pretty quickly, and edie really starts coming out of her shell towards the beginning of step 4.

jihyo has been trying hard to like jeongyeon.

jeongyeon's loud laugh still scares her, but she was sure she'd get used to it just like she did with nayeon's. jihyo's ears are sensitive, but she still finds it the cutest thing when nayeon laughs loudly, and punches her shoulder, so maybe jihyo could accept jeongyeon being loud that as well. after promising to nayeon, jihyo really started to try and accept jeongyeon as a whole.

the thing is that nayeon was never a nuisance, and jihyo never had to learn how to like her. even when she was still getting used to living with nayeon, jihyo has never felt bothered by nayeon's unique personality, always head over heels for her. sana and momo, nayeon's friends, never scared her either, so jihyo didn't know why jeongyeon triggered her that much. apart from her being jealous of jeongyeon with her owner, that is.

after weeks trying to accept jeongyeon's presence, jihyo would still go after nayeon when her owner had to answer the door. jihyo could sense jeongyeon's presence from afar, and she had to check her scent each time, so that she knew there was no threat and jeongyeon could go inside their home with her approval.

"are you going to do this every time?" jeongyeon asks jokingly, not moving an inch while jihyo reached closer, sniffing her clothes.

jihyo moves away, happy with her little research. jeongyeon still smelled like jeongyeon. nothing different, which meant there were no threats that jihyo could sense or other people's scents in her. jeongyeon's scent was strong and present, one of the best jihyo had ever found in a human. nayeon's was still better, sweet and acidic just the right amount. too bad that jihyo and mina were the only ones with a sense of smell sharp enough to notice those things.

"she likes it." nayeon comments, pointing at jihyo's wagging tail. jihyo quickly tries to prevent her own body from exposing her feelings, but the attempt is useless. "what did you bring for us?"

"pumpkin pie for your sweet puppy," jeongyeon says, charming. jihyo looks at nayeon and pouts. jeongyeon was cheesy and only nayeon could call her puppy. maybe sana too, but it always made jihyo flustered and nayeon didn't like it one bit.

"don't say that. 'puppy'. that's for me only." nayeon pats jeongyeon's shoulder. "let's get inside, sana and momo are here already."

jeongyeon frowns but accepts nayeon's request. jihyo moves to sit on sana's lap, a bit bored after playing with mina and momo the entire evening and not being able to put together the lego figure that was supposed to be formed once all of the pieces were in place.

"hey there, cutie," sana coos at jihyo, allowing the puppy to rest on her lap. jihyo could be clingy, and that's when she was the most adorable. at least that's what sana always thought. unlike mina, who could be very picky at times, jihyo was always up for a good cuddle.

nayeon was setting the dining table by the time jeongyeon came from the kitchen. for jeongyeon's luck, sana gets called by mina to help her and momo with the legos, and jihyo no longer has her warm lap to sit on. instead of waiting for nayeon, jihyo looks at the only lap available, and it happens to be jeongyeon's.

"'m going to sit here." jihyo states rather than asking. jeongyeon is taken aback, but she certainly doesn't refuse jihyo's approach, letting nayeon's puppy sit on her lap. "you're warmer than sana," jihyo mutters, her head falling back against jeongyeon's shoulder, body relaxing.

it is certainly a surprise for nayeon when she goes into the living room and finds jihyo sleeping on her best friend's lap, ears twitching and tail swishing softly, as if she's dreaming. she looks at them fondly for minutes and almost forgets to call them for dinner.

tell me abt ur angel oc guy kelo!!

CLAPS HANDS TOGETHER. PREPARE YOURSELF

kelo is a fairly old oc (2017-2018) but didnt actually start growing into himself until 2019-2021. his real personality/backstory was just decided on a whim and it kept being built up from there and im very happy with how it turned out :D

the gist of his story is that he is an angel. obviously. and he had a childhood friend named libra who died violently to a demon. so kelo grew up to join the angel military and got extremely focused on taking revenge for libra by hunting down demons and killing em. he does this for a few years and meets plenty of individuals demon, angel, and human alike (who each have their own storylines in this universe!) until eventually god decides kelo has become too full of wrath and Thats A Sin so kelo gets banished to hell. kelo is pretty notorious down there because he killed so many demons so the residents decide "yo youre an asshole so you get to be a demon too. have fun being the thing you hate!" and well he sure does hate it. hes been forsaken by his own god and now hes a demon/fallen angel so he decides he really doesnt have anything to lose and goes to kill god. he has some development but it only clicks that libra wouldnt have wanted the whole revenge quest when its far too late and hes already fighting god and actively dying. he still puts in his all to the fight and eventually dies and even though theres nothing for angels and demons when they die (for obv reasons) he still feels like he gets to symbolically be with libra again!

he is not the best guy ever and is meant to be a morally cloudy guy so hes done some Things. some of the most memorable things hes done are in a roleplay separate from his story and those include

harassing/traumatizing a friends angel oc by repeatedly calling all her friends demons and treating her like a bastion of purity simply bc shes an angel

he then shot a 10 year old with intent to kill because the 10 year old was friends with my friends angel oc and just happened to be psychic and thus a demon in his eyes

he just claims anyone whos not an angel or normal human/animal to be a demon actually and then tries to kill them regardless of anything

hes been in a few other roleplays separate from his main story and is destined to die or at least go demon mode in every timeline as my personal word of god. bullying him is a fun passtime but thinking too hard about his story makes me get all teary-eyed and stuff. also the arguably most cringe thing about him is that he has a "story" playlist of entirely ajr songs (im sorry it was ajr out of everything). like mystery skulls animated and/or vampair. but thats all i have to say abt him!

Album Review: GUT - Odour of Torture (1995)

this ones gonna be long bc theres a lot to say abt it. do read it tho

Gut is a goated band in... a certain grindcore subgenre which i do not feel like naming but im sure one could guess after looking at their lyrical content... this is their first full length album and best work in my opinion, but how good is their best?

The first thing that grabs attention on this album is the use of samples. After 2 back to back p*rn samples on the first and second tracks on the album (Woundfuck and Perpetual Sp*rm Ej*culation), one realizes that this is going to be a theme for the project. and indeed it is. I haven't been counting but over the course of my most recent listenthrough of this album (I'm about 42 minutes in as of writing this part of the review) most of, if not all of the tracks have some kind of sample. these range from horror movie clips, to p*rn clips, to just random noises, and also helped establish a norm for this subgenre of grind. I think they add to the atmosphere, ik a lot of ppl hate them, but either way, at least theyre short.

The next thing that tends to come up when I discuss this project with my weirdo friends is the vocals. a lot of ppl HATE the vocals on this album, which i completely understand as I did too upon first hearing this. I got into the second track and heard what sounded like a hobbit being waterboarded and immediately turned it off, as most reasonable people would. But overtime, theyve grown on me. in fact, i think the unique vocals r one of Gut's strong points. Unlike most grind bands, which tend to focus on one or 2 main vocal techniques, Gut's vocalist does a LOT. from deep pitch shifted gurgles to death growls, to the aforementioned hobbit waterboarding noises, this album is a multi-tooled vocal ASSAULT and i think it works rly well in the bands favor, especially when it sounds like hes shredding his throat with his shitty technique /gen.

The songwriting is after. This album doesn't get stale, and it isnt too samey, but it still feels consistent and has a solid atmosphere through out the entire thing. This album is like the musical equivalent of being trapped in a sex dungeon, but in a good way and not in the horrible trauma way of the real thing. Every song is distinct from the other, except for maybe the several filler tracks which are usually only 10-30 seconds long and usually only have a sample, a simple drum beat, and a single riff which repeats the entire time. The full-length tracks on this album are all sick and great in their own ways.

A quick nod to the production, the guitars sound GREAT, very muddy and washed out, and the drums compliment them perfectly, crisp and snappy without sounding too processes. Really just a great production job overall. This album feels dirty and claustrophobic, and while most of that is due to the songwriting, the production compliments it perfectly to create an album that i feel like i need to shower after listening to.

Standout tracks: Woundfuck, Vomitorium of Maggot Infested... , Consequence, The Taboo Room (really all of them r standout, but these came to mind first. please listen to this album)

sooo i finally watched invader zim enter the florpus!! i was gonna wait until i finished the comics first but then i saw that apparently clembrane appears in the comics after the movie?? and i didnt want to risk getting spoiled bc yknow. the movie is when he First Appears so i thought id watch it before picking the comics back up again.

anyway, here r my thoughts on the movie down below!!

it was....pretty good!! there were a LOT of positives for me, but ultimately one major thing that i really wish could have been done better (but we'll get to that in a bit). again, i liked it, i thought it was a good movie! im gonna list all the things i especially liked followed by the things that kinda bothered me a bit so bear with me lol

i know this is an Unpopular Opinion, but i actually rly like the art style!! i still think the show's designs r better, but i rly RLY liked how vibrant and smooth the animation was in this film. plus movies based on animated series already tend to have a slightly different art style anyway (the spongebob movies and the mlpfim movie come to mind) so i didnt mind the change. add to that the fact that this movie came out 17 years after the shows cancellation and its no wonder that jhonen vasquez's art has changed since then, plus i'd imagine there was a much bigger art/animation team this time around. anyway ofc i rly loved the part where they Enter The Florpus (lol get it) and go thru all the different art/animation styles, i loooovee stuff like that and i think every animated production should do smth like that at least once solely bc i love it so much. for me

clembrane is rly funny and i love him. im glad hes here now. dib and gaz have TWO dads

im not entirely sure how i feel abt the tallests canonically dying, but i do think its a funny way to kill them off and end their story. like.....ofc they die bc theyre too entitled to steer their spaceship. what else would they die from SAKFJLSDKJ

all that being said, there was one major thing that kind of bugged me a bit, as well as a few minor nitpicks.

negatives:

starting off with my biggest issue, and this might be a confusing one for some, but let me explain: in my opinion, compared to the show, this movie felt just a bit too.....sanitized? "feel-good"-ish? ....happy?? now just hear me out. a large part of what made invader zim so appealing, especially to that older tween/young teen crowd (many of whom fell into the emo subculture), is the fact that, compared to other kids cartoons at the time and even today, it was a very mean-spiritied, cynical, pessimistic show. the main protagonist is a villain trying to take over the world. his rival is the show's antagonist, so audiences may find themselves rooting against him even tho hes trying to save the world. gaz is on no one's side but her own and frequently bullies her brother and does not care what happens to zim. and it works!! thats a key factor in why so many people, myself included, like the show. it isnt afraid to have unhappy/unsatisfying endings, and there are very few "happy" moments (aside from gir, ofc, who is a fan favorite for this reason; his happiness in spite of the dark world around him is a great source of irony and genuine enjoyment). and i feel like this movie lacks a lot of that cynicism and bitterness from the show, yknow? like....i like dib and i want him to succeed, but part of his appeal is knowing that he never will, or at least not in the way he wants. we want dib's family to recognize him, we want gaz to show that she still loves him, and we want prof. membrane to say that hes proud of him. but.....invader zim is not really the type of show. i understand that this is ofc a movie for kids, but again, part of what made the show so appealing was the fact that it was so dark WHILE still being for kids. the closest thing we get to any kind of "mean-spiritedness" is the tallests deaths, which, while deserved and executed in a funny way, only happens at the end. idk i just felt like this movie was kinda....playing it "safe" compared to the show it was based on yknow. but thats just my opinion idk i swear im not one of those "WHOA look at how DARK and EDGY this show is!!! that proves that its NOT FOR KIDS" types, i just feel like the overall tone was a bit lacking compared to the source material

NOW onto the nitpicks!! these werent rly major flaws that interfered w my enjoyment of the movie, just stuff that mildly irked me (lol get it). for starters i wish tak was there :( i know she was originally planned to be in the movie but they had to cut her for time constraints which is fair. still i miss her so much. tak my beloved come back to me

another nitpick, but pretty much the only other thing that i didnt like abt this movie and its SUPER minor: i dont like how frequently gaz's eyes are open throughout this movie?? ALKSJFSDLKLKDS I KNOW THATS A WEIRD THING TO COMPLAIN ABT LMAOOOO i swear it doesnt actually bother me that much but it was kind of distracting. the reason gaz's eyes are almost always closed is to add to that angry, apathetic look she always has; it conveys her personality. when her eyes DO open, they're large and cute, which is a nice contrast to her normal appearance and makes these scenes in the show/comics have more comedic impact. here, they're open a bit too frequently for my liking, and i think it made me perceive her character differently. i think she should have been grumpier LOLLL but that kind of ties back into my first point

but errmm yeah!! despite the block of text i just wrote i still rly liked this movie!! in terms of continuations to the show, however, i think i prefer the comics, although again i have not finished reading them. i just feel like theyre closer in attitude to the original show and have a lot more interesting story ideas. but again, this movie is not bad!! there were a lot of things i rly do like abt it!! im pretty easy to please tbh.

overall id say this movie has like.....7.5/10?? maybe?? its still a good movie and id probably watch it again if given the opportunity. theres a lot of cool things about it and i did enjoy myself watching it. thats just my Onion tho, lmk what u think abt it if youve seen it :) just pls be civil if u disagree w anything i said, i like hearing other ppls perspectives on things!!

this is a really good question. i think they both have the same heart to it (of course with dean conflating dean with mary and sam conflating dean jr with dean) i think they would be set apart slightly because of course the backdrop and circumstances of their relationships are different but at their core they follow the same rhythm. also im going to mostly go into this in a non-sexual abuse way because i want to go into the more broad dynamics these relationships have and that goes so much further than sexual aspects. so im sorry for the lack of dadfucking. instead u get psychoanalysis. fun.

i feel like john and deans relationship has a lot to do with how john parentified dean, relied on him emotionally, relied on him as a hunter, to take care of their his kid, to mediate, to be his right hand man, all that shit. dean filled so many different roles for john and dean did it all because dean was isolated and john was all he knew. i dont think john intended to fuck dean up like that but he sure made all the decisions that lead to the environment that dean grew up in.

things with sam and dean jr are much different. i feel like the two schools of dad sam thought are either sam very consciously telling himself "im not going to be like my father" while making decisions involving his son OR sam unintentionally spiraling into john like behavior. i personally -- despite loving angst and bad endings or whatever -- am a fan of the first one mostly for the sake of mixing up dynamics (but also sam can still slip into classic john treating his son like his dean partner every now and then before realizing to his horror what hes doing. as a treat.)

which would really set sam and deanjrs relationship apart from dean and johns. there is no isolation to the level of sam and deans upbringing, or treating dean jr like an equal when he should be treating him like his 13 year old son. but i do think sam falls into obsession with dean jr.

like dean jr is a normal kid with a normal life but when his friends ask if he can have come over for a sleepover on friday dean jrs like sorry i cant my dad doesnt like me being out of his sight for more than 12 hours at a time otherwise he has a breakdown and also he and i are going on our monthly trips where we drive around aimlessly while he talks about his glory days and about my uncle dean and how perfect and wonderful and great he was and he'll eventually slip into talking to me like im not his son and it's a little weird but i like it because he treats me like an adult and it feels good to have that sort of respect even if its not because he respects me its just because he projects his brother onto me because he physically cannot grieve properly from a loss that big though it does kinda suck because now i feel like i have to live up to the infallible legend of this man ive never met and i feel like i have to do everything right because i dont want to disappoint him but id do anything to make him love me the way he loved his brother.

so sam - even in all his attempts to give his son a normal life - has basically achieved a "normal life" version of john and deans dynamic. i will say i do think sam is a good parent outside of this. like he tries, but its just not going to be possible for him to be normal and just move on after losing dean. its always going to haunt him and his relationships no matter what.

again, i think the core of john and deans abuse - as well as sam and dean jrs abuse - is the conflation of their child with their lover. and this can also manifest sexually too. i wouldnt think sam and dean jr would have anything frequent going on. not like johndeans relationship which i tend to imagine as being more similar to them being lovers, almost like fucked up husband and wife type shit where they are lovey dovey behind closed doors and dean embraces being johns wife. i think with sam and dean jr it would be something more. casual? not the right word, but i mean stuff like casual nudity, or physical contact that seems atypical for a father and son that r mostly are explained away by a lack of physical boundaries set between them, until you remember that sams brother lover and how sam gets into these mindsets where he treats dean jr more like a brother than a son and thats what causes alarm bells to go off.

i dont know if dean jr would know that his father was in love with and fucking the brother that dean jr lives in the shadow of. i dont think he'd find out about that until he was older. but i think things would all start to line up and make all too much horrifying sense after he realised it.

i am really curious with the lore you're making! this is a bit of a strange question, but what happened to his teeth? you mentioned that the candymanification happened inside out and he had a fever. how "inside" is a person's mouth? even if it doesn't count as being inside a person, his mouth must of transformed at some point so

did his teeth fall out? did his tongue melt? could he still breathe like a normal person at that point? does your candyman have bones? or is it solid yellow? if only the inside was transformed, and if the candymanness is sort of melty or malleable, does that mean that if you mushed his arm it would indent? i love body horror and the question of teeth came to my mind when i looked at your art again

HI OKAY IM SO SORRY IT TOOK LIKE A MONTH FOR ME TO FINISH THIS ASK i adore thinking abt this topic so much but like halfway thru writing this response i got so excited and had to walk away to stim but ended up forgetting to finish this. anyway i did it everything written here is from months ago except the last paragraph

these are all rly good questions bc i dont know most of them!!! i was thinking earlier and i think i came to the conclusion that the mutation progressively melts fran’s bones and turns it “candy” along with his skin. as fran became more mushy and melty the barriers between organs, bones, skin, etc (eyes being the only exception) kind of all melted together and became the same thing. his teeth got all gooed up and melted/became one with his mouth. same with his tongue, it melted with his mouth. though after the mutation was complete and candyman learned how to work with and transform his body better, he just reforms his tongue sometimes like for comedic effect.

to go further on this topic of francis/candyman (actually im gonna call mid-mutation of him frandyman thats funny) learning how to transform his body, at first he struggled heavily with breathing since his throat+lungs began closing and melting in on themselves. eventually though he was able to transform his body to compensate for this and somehow find another way to get air to his brain, or he just opened his throat back up again im still not 100% sure on this part.

candyman doesnt exactly have bones, but his body does kind of have layers to it. during frandyman the mutation would spread in a red->blue->yellow gradient, and the reds+blues are still in his body despite not being visible. the red is the first layer and is EXTREMELY hard so it practically acts as bones, blue being the second layer and being not as tough, and yellow being the third and having the texture+softness of skin (though still feeling like Not Skin). i have an explanation for why candy’s mouth is red despite it being the first layer but idk how to explain it and id like draw a diagram of it but itd make me look insane So. Come to your own conclusions . also candys able to change the texture, malleability , etc of his body and its how hes able to walk through walls.

during frandyman his body was VERY melty and malleable and he hadnt learned how to control his body yet. whole limbs would just melt, fall off, get disfigured, merge with other limbs, etc without him even doing anything. though because of, Brain Instinct? not sure but it would automatically grow frandy’s limbs back without him knowing how to or that he’s even doing it. when he became candyman he could regrow his limbs much much easier, it all just kind of comes down to how well he could control his body and how it progressed during the mutation.

a plothole i noticed in Candymans Fucked Up Body is that im not entirely sure how his blood and organs would work. i considered his organs melting entirely and his entire body being The Organ That Can Perform Everything The Other Organs Could Perform but that sounded lame. how his brain would work during all of this is the biggest one to me, because i imagine it was heavily impacted and disfigured but shouldnt be entirely melted because the man needs a brain somehow to live! the main thing im going with right now is that the red layer of his body isnt like, a solid chunk of red, but like a hard HARD shell and it protects the organs who are now like massively fucked up and disfigured but somehow still pumpin. i may change this eventually, but its what im going with rn so ! blood is also interesting for me because there’s no space in between each layer for blood to be stored, and the layers themselves dont have blood in them and are completely solid. so for now came up with that his skin kind of acts as his blood, when it’s cut it kind of just. melts on the inside and seeps out of the cut. also of COURSE his blood is silly colored (red, blue, yellow again)

also since this ask was from like a month ago ive decided that candy’s mutation had symptoms similar to like, a mix of rabies and radiation poisoning. both in the sense of once the person has it they have no idea they have it until it comes into full effect, the only sign for like the first week being mild sickness. ALSO fun fact he physically cant sweat since his skin is Not Skin. his sweat builds up underneath his skin and just causes his actual skin to become all mushy and squishy. Anyway tldr they fucked this guy up
