The more I think about it, the more I feel sad that we didn’t get Colress in the SunMoon anime

Like not even from a shipping perspective, it would have been hilarious to see him and Faba interact. In keeping in the style of the show I think Faba would have been super jealous of Colress at first, but after his demotion I can see him becoming kind of enamoured by him- like a science groupie lol. Colress would have so much fun making up bizarre, random facts and then teasing Faba when he earnestly believed them.

It would be even funnier if Wicke was the one to first introduce Colress to the kids as this real stand-up guy, and Ash immediately recognises him and blurts out to everyone that he tried to take over the Unova region with Team Plasma. Awkwaaaard.

I like to imagine that Ellie was a very hyper-mom before she found her footing and relaxed into her motherhood. She`s never had a mom and he`s never been one so it`s only natural that she was anxious at the beginning, trying to get every single thing right. You know like that kind of new mom that hands you a foot-long list of hyper specific rules and regulations concerning their child`s care before you even cross the threshold? Yeah, that`s Ellie. And Joel notices how stressed and tired she is and he offers to look after JJ so Ellie can take Dina on a date and relax a bit.

Problem is Ellie refuses to leave without explaining every single thing to Joel and the list is endless. And he`s amused, he remembers all too well how it felt to be a new parent and stress over your newborn AND what a mess he`s been when he had to leave Sarah for the first time. But most of all he`s just so goddamn proud of Ellie. So he wraps her in a hug, interrupting her rumbling, kisses her forehead and tells her:

“Ellie baby, the light of my life, you do remember that I`ve raised two exceptional daughters, right? I can handle one potato, I promise you.”

And then he has to physically remove her from the premises.

sorry you are probably tired of pggy discourse but I just wanted to say that it's very telling that in smithsonian exhibit we have interview with pggy but not with howlies (because I think howlies knew steve rogers and not only captain america, but pggy never really knew steve and only knew him as a captain)

The other reason of course is that they never filmed any footage of Pggy with Steve and the Howlies (because that never happened; she was never there) so they have to do separate interviews. 

(And, Doylist reason, including the Howlies would involve paying more actors). 

It is very indicative of her character that she is doing interviews about Steve while she is running an organisation with the Nazi that ‘killed’ the very best friend featured in that exhibit, like a total hypocrite, in the movie where he’s going to try and kill Steve again, and that she is happy (and sees nothing off?) about people thinking she’s the kind of woman to still be obsessing over Steve, decades later,  while she’s married and has kids with another man. 

God she could have been such an amazing villain.
