Ok real talk
I still think that the F&C universe is strongly linked if not created by Ice King, and then when he became Simon again (or something that he made) all the world morphed to fit his actual psyche

He remade the world were everyone is human, in a normal modern setting, without magic, like way before the war

Wild Tears of The Kingdom theory but it’s been floating around in my head all day.
This is long and probably all over the place but please bare with me.
So I’m sure by now most of you have already seen the official artwork for Ganondorf and noticed that he had one of the tear shaped Gems on his forehead.
Except this one is red, you might even say it looks corrupted.
Tumblr media
But we’ll get back to that, because I wanna talk about the hero on the tapestry in botw for a hot second.
Tumblr media
So I know we’ve all already talked about how the hero in the tapestry isn’t Link, doesn’t even look remotely like Link, with the red hair and beard, but you know who does have red hair and a beard, oh yeah, Ganondorf.
Also, in the opening of the tapestry he isn’t called “The Hero” which is what we always call Link, he’s called “a warrior wielding the soul of a hero”
Tumblr media
So here’s where it gets crazy, well, crazier. What if for some reason Link wasn’t around for Calamity Ganon 10,000 years ago and Hylia, (or I guess it would technically be Fi?) was forced to chose someone else to battle The Calamity. A strong warrior, like someone from the Gerudo, like maybe….Ganondorf? And perhaps the “soul of a hero” refers to the master sword.
So let’s say I’m right and Ganondorf somehow ended up being the hero from 10,000 years ago, then what happened, why does he want to destroy us now?
Well, here’s where we pick up where I left off on the tear gem because I have a second theory inside of this one. Maybe, because he wasn’t the true hero, because he wasn’t LINK, he somehow got corrupted by malace during the battle, and they ended up having to seal him away somewhere deep underground. And the reason he’s so angry now isn’t just because of his malace corrupted soul, but because they betrayed him, they forced this role upon him, this destiny he never asked for and then when he needed help instead of trying to save him they locked him away, abandoned him after everything he had sacrificed for them.
I saw a post on tumble where someone mentioned they wanted to be able to save Ganondorf, which got me wondering if we can purify his little gem thing, but yeah that’s pretty much it.
Also, in not related to this theory, but I noticed the Zelda on the tapestry seems to have a dark skin tone, which makes me wonder if this is the Zelda from 10,000 years ago.

so obsessed with the fact that every single person at this wedding was up to something absolutely unhinged. like we started off with aniq planning to propose at someone else’s wedding and i was like well that doesn’t seem like a good idea. and then it turns out that was actually easily the least insane plan that anyone had.

I was about to make a post on my theory/headcannon that pre-fallen world Quixis actually dabbled in multiverse stuff and they (in sherb fashion) flew too close to the sun and everything went so wrong...
But sherbs aren't usually the ones with world experimentation? (I'm not up-to-date on many other smps so I could be wrong)
But to my very limited knowledge, it's normally a Rae who is invested in other world stuff?
So new theory:
It's was Quixis' Rae who went too deep in world -> multiverse travel and Quixis got caught in a cross fire??
Or playing on the idea that Quixis is doing this for their Rae/family/world??
Maybe Quixis and Rae fought and caused something to happen - Sherbs and Raes apparently have a theme of not always being healthy???

Theory: At some point, Caine will do something like this while warning Pomni not to mess with him
Tumblr media
At some point, Pomni will get a little too rowdy in trying to escape or pry some other kind of information out of Caine. Caine will do something like this as he reminds her who's in charge here.

You talked about how Jake and Tobias thought the treehouse from A-town was a genuinely good idea, and that makes me wonder if you think there’s any other good ideas from it the Animorphs thought they could have done? Also, how would A-Town have been different in the canon ending where Tom and Rachel both died?
[For those of you just tuning in: A-Town is the shitty postwar sitcom inspired by the life of Jake Berenson, to the eternal annoyance of Jake Berenson.]
Pt 1. Since A-Town is inspired by AniTV, I think it'd be less a matter of the Animorphs going "huh, the fauximorphs sometimes have good ideas", more a matter of them going "thank GOD the real Yeerk Empire never thought to do that thing The Gathering just did." Because the show's lack of effects budget means their yeerks are forced to be a lot subtler than the ones we see in canon.
So like AniTV, A-Town would probably have a bunch of B-plots with The Gathering offering perks that are actually hard to resist (e.g. disaster relief, much-needed health care). It'd have a bunch of extras from Brandon's town pop up in the yeerk pool, to save money but also to ramp up paranoia. It'd imply that controllers are harder to kill than ordinary humans. It'd use the plots with yeerks in cell phones, yeerk tech inside computers, yeerks tapping phones and security cameras. None of this is meant to be super-creepy — the phone-tapping plot is used to engineer a romantic misunderstanding between J.J. and Trina, while the lacrosse coach being a controller sets up a bunch of gags with Brandon almost getting caught morphing in the locker room — but from the Animorphs' point of view, it's super creepy to watch.
Pt. 2. Honestly I don't know that the show would get made at all if the inspiration for Daisy A. is dead. Even for these writers, that might be taking things too far. Like, in canon there would almost certainly be some kind of TV show about the war, but it wouldn't be A-Town.

This is probably the wackiest and most unnecessary theory out there, but given the ages/timeline, there’s a possibility that Ranpo’s father “Clairvoyant” was a detective at the time that Murase was a detective. Given the timeline, Clairvoyant would’ve been a detective for quite some time while Murase would’ve just been starting out. This is interesting because I wonder if the two could’ve possibly crossed paths even though Ranpo’s father worked just right outside of Yokohama.
I’m totally being wacky and delusional right now, but what if, Ranpo’s parent’s death was a planned accident, or perhaps, not that much of an accident at all. What if, through working with Murase on some kind of case, Clairvoyant discovered a little bit too much about the Japanese military, and perhaps, he might’ve discovered the existence of a certain scientist by the name of “Professor N”. Now, given Ranpo’s personality, I’d assume that Clairvoyant wouldnt be all too happy discovering that there was a wacko scientist that kidnapped a child and experimented on said child, and I can also most likely infer that Professor N or other members of the Japanese military would’ve not been too happy that Clairvoyant would’ve discovered anything about Arahabaki and the research done in Yokohama.
Im implying that either the military staged an accident, or Clairvoyant himself (or his wife who was apparently more clever than he was) could’ve set up an “accident”. The military would’ve done this for obvious reasons, while Clairvoyant could’ve done it to protect his son in some sort of way. (I don’t really know. I’m just saying stuff at this point)
The only kind of proof we have is the possibility that these two were detectives at the same time, as well as, Clairvoyant’s message to Ranpo to go to Yokohama Police Academy's principal for help if anything were to happen to him. If Clairvoyant hadn’t had any connection to the Yokohama Police, then why would he trust them or the principal of it with his son if something were to happen to him?
Don’t know what this would do for the story if it ended up being true, but it’s something fun to think about when your favorite characters are Chuuya and Ranpo.
