Hatsune Miku's Past (My Headcanon)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Miku has been an only child, she lived in a fine with her parents; Keiichi and Amaya Hatsune, whom she did not stop making proud every day, because Miku is a smartly girl who spent her time reading books every day from an early age, preparing for tests and school exams where she always passed with high califications and helped either in home or away to organize things. Miku was very diligent in what she did, but she let herself be carried away by her personal likes, to a degree that she sees as an obstacle everything that for a person being considers "fun" in that...she also applied the fact that she in those times Miku was not sociable, she barely had time to talk to her parents, relatives and even her teachers. That same thing caused half of her classmates to degrade for always being focused on studying, while others simply felt sorry for Miku for being alone.
With the passing of time, it seemed that Miku was clinging more in her "bubble", she no longer had time to spend time with her relatives and she even complained about simplistic things that confused her, which has led both Keiichi and Amaya to not to be convinced that their daughter lived cordially happily like this. Despite this, not everything was lost for the turquoise-haired girl, in her last year of high school, several teachers have managed to convince her to enter prestigious universities where she would only continue promoting what she does best and of course, knowing what Miku is like, she began to investigate them to find out which one would end up going to...it's a pity that it won't happen in the end...she didn't know that after an event, her life would give an abrupt change in her state of life...
One day, after Miku was on vacation waiting for the day she entered university to come, she was walking down the street while doing the shopping sent by her parents, it seemed that day would be practically calm. Until out of nowhere, after paying attention to a song that she heard while walking, Miku without realizing she began to sing improvisedly and when she realized it, she shut up and continued on her own. But conveniently in the same place where she was, she met the very same executive Master of Crypton Future Media, who managed to hear her singing and was amazed by the young girl's voice, offering to join her as a new Vocaloid singer. However, Miku refused the request, because she believed that being an artist requires a lot of work, pressure, stress and above all, she was not attracted to the world of music, but said man did not give up, begging and insisting until the turquoise-haired girl only accepted it, telling her to give more time to seriously think about whether being a Vocaloid was a good idea.
.・゜♪ ・˗ˋˏ 🜲 ˎˊ˗・ ♪ ゜・.
When Miku got home telling her parents about the accident she had gone, she thought that they would know perfectly well her denial of being in Vocaloid since they knew what her daughter really wanted. Only so that in the end, instead of giving her the answer that Miku wanted, they told her that she should explore other interests and not cling to books and study for the rest of her life. What better way to get her into a gigantic company where she would learn about the music to begin with? Of course, also because since there will surely be more people, it would give Miku a chance to improve her status to socialize. She was shocked to known that her parents did not support her, but it was only in order to find an alternative solution for her daughter for her future as a person, still unconvinced of the idea, she accepted as long as she studied and learned about music it would be a kind of benefit to her vast expanse of knowledge.
The day she arrived as an official Vocaloid, Miku was not very happy about what her new lifestyle would be like, it was something that even her new allies noticed, there was also the fact that she did not collaborate in terms of her duties as a star in full practice. Some time after her admission, both the Master and other Vocaloids did not stop self-proclaiming to take her new lifestyle as a singer seriously, but Miku repeated to their faces that she is only there because of her parents' obligation, when in reality it was to change her way of being so focused and distant from others, knowing this, they did not lose patience and faith in her...At least that was what Miku knew about her existence, little by little she already seemed more focused on her duties within Vocaloid and was more sociable with the rest of her allies, sorry I mean, her friends.
But what really made her change was because one day she started reviewing the web pages about how Vocaloid was doing lately, finding positive comments and reviews about her, seeing how many praised her hidden talent for singing and the success she had was starting to have Vocaloid, thanks to her. That made Miku feel with a new emotion that she couldn't even describe with words, she only received praise for her school grades, but since she now receives them from her fans for her beautiful voice and singing, they motivated her to continue in the plan of being in Vocaloid, and more convinced of which she will do without question...and all of this came to fruition in her first concert...where she received applause and great acclaim from the public. Today, Miku is a more sociable, self-proclaimed in music and not as reserved as before, of course she continues with her characteristic taste for reading and learning, but even so, she was happy to be what she is now, such It seems that her parents were right that she accepted new things instead of forever clinging to her common likes.
Happy Birthday Hatsune Miku 🩵🩵🩵

Megurine Luka's Past (My Headcanon)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Luka was born and grew up for a large part of her childhood and adolescence in New York, coming from a family of high economic rank, from which she descends from Japanese blood (through her father) and American/British blood (through her mother). Her father; Masahiko Megurine leads a huge company (which the Megurines have owned for years) of tourist cruises that travel through all the countries located in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, while her mother; Alice Shellwhite is a very famous fashion designer in the country. The three lived in the Big city, habiting a gigantic penthouse on top of one of the many skyscrapers it owns and not only them, they also had their own staff like any wealthy family. So yes, it turns Luka into a city girl surrounded by luxuries, with a very good education, gifts and the attention of her parents, but it doesn't mean that by living like this she is a bad person as one would expect from this type of family, actually she has always been a sweet and friendly girl who overflowed with love for everyone without exception.
How did get Tako-Luka? Excellent question; There was a time when Masahiko went on one of his many business trips, in which he was accompanied by his team to buy new islands as tourist breaks from his cruise ships before arriving at clandestine. On one of them he found the island which considered a perfect site, except for the fact that it had toxic waste strewn on the tropical terrain, which Masahiko's employees were ordered to clean up all of it. When they finished and he was about to make it official, he ended up finding a kind of octopus that lived on said island with the unrealistic aspect of resembling a tender human face and the tentacles posing as a person's hair, hitting the idea that they looked like that because of the toxicity that affected not only the island, but also the fauna of the place. Masahiko sympathized with those poor animals that instead of proclaiming it as a tourist island, he turned it into a natural refuge so that the octopuses do not receive mistreatment from people who see them, in order to keep them safe.
When he returned home with his family, he did not realize that one of the octopuses followed him after sneaking onto the cruise ship on which he sailed for his business trip along with those who were accompanying Masahiko. Knowing this story, Luka (at seven years old) became fond of the octopus enough to keep it as her own pet. It was to be expected that both parents initially had doubts if she was capable of taking care of it, but in the end they accepted it with certain conditions and Luka, very happy, became inseparable from that octopus, calling it "Tako-Luka". The rest of her life after that was completely normal, she didn't seem to have any problems at school (aside from the fact that her parents hired tutors to help Luka with studies) and she began to brag about her good life by belonging to a family rich, but she continued to emphasize being good and kind to everyone around her, even if her parents were slightly unconvinced of that little path their daughter was taking. However, her happiness would be degraded upon learning that her mother was consumed by a serious illness just the night after her high school graduation...
༶ ༻ʚ ♡︎ ɞ༺ ༶
Once she was admitted to the hospital, they took better care of her than anyone else and the doctors did the impossible for her to be saved, but it was all in vain since in the time she spent days while they were looking for a cure, Alice died...which clearly dealt a hard blow to Luka and Masahiko, for the three of them spending so much time together and losing her affected them like that. One night, the pinkette girl (16 years old) still saddened by her loss, had a dream so real that it seemed unreal, she was reunited with her mother, telling Luka Her last words: « My baby...you don't have to cry for me...I know that this feeling is difficult and horrible for one and I would never wish it on you...but...I want you to keep smiling and being yourself...you are my most charming and sweet daughter and I don't want you to ruin yourself for this...always remember me for that great love and moments we spent together without pitying because I passed away...I love you Luka... » And with this Luka left her more than satisfied and happy to see her through that dream of lovingly taking her words and never forgetting them.
Days after that event, Luka gradually recovered and was still the same as before, but even so, she continued to miss her mother very much every time she remembered various things in her home because she did not see herself without her there. This gave Masahiko the advantage of cheering her up knowing how his daughter felt, he gave her the news that they were moving to Megurine's hometown; Japan, since as the family's main company is located in Tokyo city, he was given the hereditary position and personally, take his daughter to live in a completely new environment so as not to leave Luka stuck in the nostalgia. This made her doubt a little considering that she missed her stay in New York and since she has visited Japan so few times it would be difficult for her to get used to it, but she accepted with the idea that her father would be right on the last point and ensuring the future experiences that they waited for her once they live there, plus it's not like they'll never come back to New York considering they can fly to visit their old home on that city.
A couple of years after the move from New York to Tokyo, Masahiko had a surprise in store for Luka for her eighteenth birthday. When that day came and after having celebrated ad nauseam, she had as her last gift that her father enrolled her in Vocaloid for the musical talent that her daughter had developed in recent years (grateful for the lessons she received in her music classes given since she was five years old), the news made Luka overly excited when she learned that she will become a singer for a recently popular company. As soon as she moved, three months after her birthday for the audition time, her life went from good to better, she ended up making friends with the other Vocaloids who joined before her, as well as making new friends with the new ones who joined they were part of Vocaloid. Luka assumed that her mother would be proud for how her new life began and she promised herself that she would keep hers as she already is and everyone knows her, continuing like this from now on without more negative cases affecting our octo-pink lady.

Kamui Gakupo's Past (My Headcanon)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
He used to be a happy child at an early age, he had a nice and perfect life, together with his parents; Midori Yamamoto and Ronin Kamui. But not everything will last forever...that simple life had left since he was four years old, Gakupo had found out that his parents would divorce because Ronin ended up using Midori, cheating on her with another woman, losing everything the love for her, leading them to a strong argument to the conclusive point of separating. The jovial woman planned to keep custody of her son to have a closer and healthier relationship with him, but Ronin insisted that he could take better care of him, she questioned left and right if it would be a good idea and the end she involuntarily agreed to give him a chance believing that being with Gakupo would change his way of being and since that night...little Gakupo never saw his mother again and that Midori ideology was clearly a mistake. Ronin kept belittling and mistreating him in different ways, from simple things to scolding him for certain point of hitting him, forbidding him good things that would make him smile and even burning his toys in his presence, which that he reached a breaking point in Gakupo and that was not enough, his school life was just as bad.
Since from a time when started elementary school, he was despised in the same way by his classmates and let the bullies take him humiliate them, making this not convince Ronin for describing his own son as a coward who would never achieve anything in his life. It was because of a bad upbringing and school bullying that led Gakupo to accept the "dark side" of himself...he managed to defend himself against his bullies, at the same time that he was made the new troublemaker of his school, this apparently made Ronin proud because the way he had raised him was "bearing fruit", as Gakupo still kept his deluded child's mind, he continued with that idea in his head, slowly corrupting that sweet and innocent little boy that once it was, just to maintain the pride of his father who won. But without a doubt, the day that Gakupo graduated from elementary school at the age of twelve, was the same day that his heart was completely broken...Knowing that Ronin was "busy" enough not to attend his graduation ceremony, he went home early, only to find halfway there his father sneaking out with another woman and with her he claimed to have two daughters to whom he gave more love and attention than his own son.
Filled with anger at the news, he left his father and home to start a new life from scratch, but Gakupo was alone on the streets with no one to take care of him...feeling hatred for anyone who crossed his path for seeing them so happy with their lives, while he lost his one happiness several years ago. For days without eating food and not sleeping well, one night he was so weak that he was already about to deal with death, but miraculously his salvation came...A woman found him in his condition and with her help he managed to recover Gakupo's life, when he opened his eyes to see who his savior was, he cried with happiness because the one who saved him was none other than his biological mother, Midori, whom he longed to see again for years after being separated, she was Just as happy as he was to be back with his son, to whom, after taking into account that his ex-husband had taken him, she promised that now, being in her charge, his life would improve from now on. Settling in Midori's current home, Gakupo was in for a shocking surprise; while he lived with his negligible father, his mother remarried another man, Shigeru Nakajima, who already had a second daughter with him, named Gumi.
ᕀ . ⋆ ᕀ ♤ ⁺ . ⋆ ⁺ . . ᕀ ♤
This news that more than gladdened him, disappointed on Gakupo. He had been paranoid with the idea that Midori was also replacing him, he refused to accept his new family and a new life with them, this made him hurt his mother with the fear that her son would end up the same or worse than Ronin, but never she lost her faith and both Shigeru and Gumi did the impossible to change Gakupo. Four years later, Gakupo had become a bitter and melancholic teenager, labeling himself the "black sheep" of his current family, still living under the care of his mother, his kind stepfather, a grown up and cheerful Gumi and his new younger half-brother, Ryuuto; an infant barely two years old. At least his school life improved when he entered middle and high school, of course he did not interact with anyone and they did not mess with him because of his apparent cold, at home, he vented his time locked in the room with his loneliness, listening to music at full volume, doing homework or reading Japan's culture and history of Samurais.
One day, Gakupo, his mother and his half-siblings were invited to a meeting that would involve the reunion of the purple-haired teen with his biological father...as well as meeting Ronin's other lovers and the daughters of each of them have. The reason was because upon learning that he had more daughters, counting those that are not biologically Ronin's, that man proposed the idea of gathering them all in one place so that they could live well with each other and not end up knowing any longer to their own account that they had more siblings than each already had. Both mothers and children accepted the idea, all except Gakupo who gave him excuses not to accept the proposal and would be further away from the beings who love him. At first the children began to be cared for by Sachiko, a woman who was hired to be their babysitter, who ended up getting along with each of them, for being the only one who continued to disagree, Gakupo had to try to endure in see their new little sisters every day; Lily, Kokone, Cul, Chika and Una as well as the usual ones, Gumi and Ryuuto.
For several years later, he would enter Vocaloid as the first singer of the company Internet Co. Ltd, for the reason that listening to music of metal and rock genres, and his mother who supported him both in his musical passions and his desire to be a Samurai, they inspired him to express his emotions through the method of singing songs as most artists commonly do, of course, there he would also have to deal with his new companions that at first he saw as annoying parasites but in the future he would end up accepting their presence to the degree that because of them, they would end up being the key for Gakupo to change, if this also included that all his sisters and brother also joined Vocaloid for their reasons and of course, also to be able to stay together, but who else would change their way of being would be the new and last Cryptonloid that entered after he...a girl he once met in his teenager and never saw again...until now.

Kaito's Past (My Headcanon)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Kaito's life from the beginning was completely calm, he used to be very attached to his two parents from a very young age, whom he never separated from at all times and loved them unconditionally. But when he was old enough to go to school, he was afraid to be there because he would know that be with other children that the blue little boy didn't know and he still hadn't gotten used to being away from his family, in the early days it's not that has been mistreated by his classmates, what he did was sit on a bench or chair in the classroom while he watched the other children playing together, Kaito was sad because he thought that his problems making friends would affect the idea that no one would approach him.
When Kaito's parents found out about this from his teacher when he told them, they each came up with some ideas about teaching their son things so that he can solve his problems. While his mother; June Shion showed sign language for Kaito to use when talking to deaf-mute people, his father; Naoto Fuuga decided to tell Kaito about his musical career, to see if that way he could interest the young man to enter a future life around music. It wasn't exactly teachings related to solving social problems that Kaito had to make friends at school, but he ended up fascinated by learning new things, mainly being inspired by his father's singing life.
After grasping that passion and other teachings that he was given as an upbringing at home, Kaito felt more confident to the point of beginning to be more outgoing with his peers and thanks to the fact that Naoto had told him about his job before he was born, the young blue-haired really wanted to learn more about music and his father gladly helped him in everything related to that career. Years later, when Kaito entered high school, he felt more self-confident and more independent of what he wanted to do, on his first day his attitude became the center of attention of his classmates...and by this I mean that because he was such a happy, innocent and nice boy, the Troublemakers saw him as an easy prey to annoy and humiliate.
⊹ ˑ ִ∘ ֗ ִ ۫ ˑ ᳝ ࣪♫︎ ⚬⠀. ִ ་ ּ
Fortunately, before that happened, his savior arrived: Meiko, she knew that those boys would not leave Kaito alone, so she took advantage of it and defended him from them, making it clear not to bother him again, since the brunette already had the reputation of being half a fight how to have respect for her. Kaito was so grateful to have her by his side that he decided to want to be a friend instead of Meiko acting as his defender. After several attempts to accept trust, both began to be closer to each other to the point of meeting and doing various things that any duo of friends would do, which would later become a trio, since some time later one of the friends joined smartest boys in their school: Kiyoteru, from there the three formed a great bond of friendship.
After graduating from middle school and high school, Kaito, Kiyoteru, and Meiko drifted apart for a while to look for jobs before the latter two go off to college, but they still managed to keep in touch. Kaito for his part decided to help his mother in her work, part of his family owns an ice cream factory well known throughout Tokyo, so he was in charge of selling them in a store that distributed them, from which they worked. some close friends of June. A few years later, together with Kiyoteru, he found out that Meiko separated from her parents and the two offered to help her in her situation so as not to leave her alone. Some time later, they both received the news that their friend was auditioning to enter the newest music company in the country: Vocaloid.
Kaito was very fascinated by that news that he also wanted to join there and was more glad when his father planned to enroll him, knowing that his son wanted to have a singing life like the one Naoto had long before he was born. They spent more than three months preparing for the auditions that he would have and in the end he ended up entering, he was completely happy to know what the future would hold for him being part of Vocaloid. In addition to the fact that he liked being there because he was a fan of music, he also wanted to join for two other things: One, to keep his two friends company so that they were not alone, and Two, to make his father proud because in the end she decided to follow the same path as him.

Meiko's Past (My Headcanon)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
For as long as she can remember, Meiko was pressured by her own parents; Osamu Sakine and Hatsu Haigo. They wanted their daughter to be a "Perfect Girl" forcing her to wear clothes that made look like a doll, putting in thousands of different classes so that she is good at any physical, cultural and strategic activity, educating in the most constructive way possible and scolding her for doing acts that a lady shouldn't do. But all that...never made her happy, Meiko could not breathe easy due to the fact that her parents managed her life and they always opposed what she really like, the only thing she wanted was to be independent on her own, even if it was just one time. Fortunately, not everything was lost for Meiko with that unjustifiable life, she had her great-aunt; Meiko Haigo, nicknamed her "Aunt Mei".
Who unlike her parents, she let her be as she was when the two were together and like her niece, Mei also hates how Osamu and Hatsu controlled their daughter's life, because she was more of a free spirit and thanks to her, she ended up inspiring Meiko to follow the same life that her great-aunt had, which we will talk about later. When puberty arrived, there was a stage in Meiko that lasted from twelve to sixteen years old, for a moment feeling oppressed by the life that her parents gave her, it began to reveal itself once she entered high school, she cut her hair and she dyed it a reddish brown, leaving makeup and put black clothes giving her an air of pure rebellion and began a whole life of disobedience by being in school such as being late, misbehaving by committing mischief, fighting with bullies and being almost daily in detention.
Her parents were obviously disappointed by her daughter's rebellious stage that they had no choice but to take her punishment to the next level...but even knowing the cruel punishments...for Meiko, she would still be worth a little having them. When she turned seventeen, the waters calmed down and by the time she turned eighteen, Meiko had fully matured, leaving behind her life as a bad student to concentrate on being a responsible adult like every woman when she reaches that age, with the ideology of wanting for finally manage hee life as she finally wanted. But it was not like that, even as a young adult her parents continued to torture her with all those rules that prevented her from living in peace, including threatening her that she would continue to live under their roof, she had no choice to run away from home and start a new life.
˚ ₊ ‿ ︵ ‿ ♩ི ‿ ︵ ‿ ₊˚
Having as a last resort to be with her Aunt Mei, who sympathized with her and welcomed to stay in her home, remaining in her one custody, Meiko did everything possible to get a job to continue with her new lifestyle and at the same time be one on what she would like to do to stay there for a long time. Luckily, in addition to her aunt, she had her two friends by her side who have always been there for her: Kaito and Kiyoteru, she met them both when she started high school, being that she saved Kaito from being almost bullied on his first day of school, while Kiyoteru involved Meiko and Kaito feeling sorry for him that being an intern for the teachers was left absolutely alone. Returning with the present; when the two found out how Meiko lives now, they had to support her in whatever was necessary to move on.
As both Meikos already had more time to live together, Mei took the opportunity to tell her niece about the life she once had when she was young, because that was being a successful singer who worked alongside Kaito's father; Naoto Fuga, even before Meiko began to be attracted to the world of music and feeling motivated by the story of her great-aunt, considering playing the piano well at home inspired her more, she decided to follow the same steps as her and she did the impossible to enter the first musical company that would receive her with open arms. After almost four years of searching, which she took advantage of to further refine her singing and dancing skills, she ended up being part of Vocaloid, being the first Japanese singer they admitted, after the first three Engloids singers from abroad who began the existence of said company.
She had been more excited when she found out that Kaito entered after her, so that some time later, Kiyoteru would also be part of Vocaloid, unfortunately, not in the same company that Meiko and Kaito were assigned to (Crypton Future Media) but something is fine for them. Currently Meiko lives happily in full peace, despite not being the most recognized among her group as she wanted and for being one of the first to enter, they gave her more authority that was degraded due to the problems caused by the younger Vocaloids of other companies, still she had no complaints, the only thing she focused on was being one of the ones in charge of all of them (apart from the bosses/leaders of Vocaloid and their companies) and the one who takes care of her fellow Cryptonloids being seen as the mother of the entire group, and of course being happy to dedicate herself to singing and the stardom that was given to her.

Kagamine (and Rin's) Past (My Headcanon)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The story of this pair begins with a couple of "friends" called; Aiko and Akemi. These two were defined as an example to follow, because they were very close, they got the best grades and they had the same goal of having a promising future, so identical were they even in appearance that many portrayed them as sisters. However, there is always a difference between the two, Aiko was a severe, upright and even malevolent woman, while Akemi was a lady full of love, compassion and pure goodness, that key difference made Aiko start to hold a deep grudge against her and envy what she once considered her "best friend". Some time later, they both got what they wanted, a gigantic house, a dream marriage, good jobs and finally, their offspring, by then, both had announced that they were pregnant, only Aiko gave the news a couple of months before Akemi. Everything around them seemed to be wonderful.....until things went wrong for poor Akemi, her husband ended up losing his life in a traffic accident, having to support herself along with her future baby, working day and night without rest without Thinking about her health, when Aiko realized it, more than feeling pity, she felt pleasure considering the 'Karma' she had asked so much for Akemi.
As the long-awaited day for Aiko to give birth arrived, it was shocking that it would also be the same day that Akemi's baby was born considering that her announcement was two months after Aiko's. Coming to the point, after all, both babies were born on the same day with the two happy mothers of their offspring, but Akemi's happiness lasted for a short time...Due to the fact that she have worked with exhaustion in the last months plus giving gave birth to her daughter prematurely, she died, leaving the newborn and longed-for girl an orphan. In the months when Aiko was recovering from childbirth, she did not ignore such tragic news, one would think that she would not care what would happen to Akemi and her orphan baby girl. But it turns out that she would not leave her hidden hatred there, she convinced the doctors to be an Akemi's Familiar just to keep custody of the baby, they did not doubt the woman, because it was better to give custody to the closest familiar than to hospitalize her an orphanage. Once with the 'solved' case, Aiko and her husband Ringo had two children in charge, Rin and Len, one was the biological son of the couple while the other was what Ringo considered his "adopted" daughter, however his wife was actually had other plans for Rin...
The years passed, Rin and Len as they grew up, they loved and cared for each other as they were ""twin siblings"" as their parents claimed. Both lived happily blind to the true relationship they had, but it seemed indirectly noticeable by the fact that Rin was degraded and despised by Aiko (since she is the daughter of someone she began to hate, she reflects on Rin as a sack of relief to never admit what she thought about Akemi) while she loved Len unconditionally. He also didn't feel comfortable considering that her mother treated Rin like she shouldn't be, but hey, at least he rewarded her heartbreak by offering her love and acceptance of both the young boy and his father. One day, with Rin and Len being ten years old, they were forced to sleep separately with the idea that upon entering puberty it was necessary for the two of them to have their own rooms. This was something that the two tried to accept considering the company they needed from each other even when sleeping, so one night Len steeled himself by visiting Rin in her room, since Aiko had made it clear to him that the evenings in the quarter of each were strictly prohibited.

They did the typical thing of an innocent sleepover, fighting with the pillows, watching television in the room, all so that in the end they fell asleep very late. And that sweet reunion turned into a lawsuit because the next morning Aiko found them asleep together to do the routine of waking them up on a school day, she ended up completely angry with both of them for disobeying her rules, mainly with Rin since blame her for letting Len visit her, which was not the case and the young boy mentioned the same thing, also confronting her for being fed up with the fact that his mother did not accept Rin and that he had deserved the same love before her for a long time. Aiko at the level of hysteria she had admitted the truth...that Rin was never biologically part of the family, that her real parents were already dead and she only got it with the cheeky desire to claim her hatred against Akemi based on her daughter for no longer being alive. This revelation made both of them speechless, petrified by what their mother had hidden for years, on the one hand Len felt disappointed not by Rin, by his mother for the reasons for keeping her, Rin was devastated to learn that she was no more that an orphan and a stranger living with another family, it was difficult that morning to the point of not going to school together.
Upon entering adolescence, each one began to generate their own hobby-likes, Len was attracted to surfing and Rin had the hobby of writing in a journal that they gave her, the sad thing was that Rin was no longer united with the Kagamine as before and with Len feeling a little guilty that despite not being his sister, he wanted everything to be with her as his friend. There was a summer in which their neighborhood began to hold auditions to recruit new Vocaloids, upon learning, Len was excited that the two could participate, to fix things with Rin. They had a hard time perfecting their skills since they barely had enough interest in music, but they did the best they could, Rin for her part had almost no interest in the idea, but considering what a good person Len is and how important he was in her life, she had to agree to give him another chance. One day before the elections, Len found a chest hidden in his parents' room, inside there were a couple of necklaces with the keys of Sol and Fa as charms in each one, he thought that one would use each one as amulets of the luck to participate, also in the box contained writings from Rin's parents and her birth certificate, which managed to comfort the blonde as it was the only thing she had of them.
By the time the day of the auditions arrived and it was their turn to show the best they had to give; a song written by Rin as the lead singer and Len accompanying her in part of the song with dance steps to show, with executives from Crypton Future Media and Yamaha Corporation as judges. When the rest of the candidates passed and as usually, Rin and Len ended up winning, their reaction was also confused since they just went there for fun, but the reason they won was simple: there were few participants and most were amateurs. Even so, the two were happy not only for having entered Vocaloid, but Rin regained trust and friendship with Len, not seeing him as a brother but as a best friend and life partner, when they told of Len's parents about the news. Aiko was not pleased with the idea of them abandoning their true studies for being singers like that out, instead Ringo gave them his permission to be free of his wife's control and in itself, to disagree with her opinion, meanwhile Rin and Len are happy to start a new life as singers in the Vocaloid Music Empress.
