T-Series clarifies rumours around Aashiqui franchise; says, “Our proposed film to be directed by Anurag Basu is neither Aashiqui 3 nor part of the Aashiqui franchise”

T-Series released an official statement denying the revival of Aashiqui, asserting that they would only be collaborating with the Bhatts for the film.

A couple of years ago, T-Series announced Aashiqui 3 and later it was reported that Kartik Aaryan will play the lead of the film and it was expected to be directed by Anurag Basu. However, recently the production house released an official statement asserting that they are not planning to revive the franchise. Furthermore, it also maintained that in case of such plans, they would only be collaborating with the Bhatts, who originally possess the rights of the film and that their upcoming venture is in no way related to the romantic drama.

Their official statement read, “T-Series wishes to clarify that we are not presently involved in the development or production of Aashiqui 3. If and when Aashiqui 3 is initiated, T-Series and Vishesh Films / Mukesh Bhatt being joint owners in the franchise shall produce it jointly only. We categorically deny any ongoing rumours suggesting that Aashiqui 3 is being produced under a different title by T- Series. Our proposed film to be directed by Anurag Basu is neither Aashiqui 3 nor part of the Aashiqui franchise. We sincerely appreciate ongoing support and enthusiasm of our fans. Our commitment lies in consistently delivering top-notch content, and we eagerly anticipate future ventures with our esteemed partners.”

The first Aashiqui which released in 1990 became one of the biggest blockbusters of the year as its music continues to rule the charts even today. It marked the debut of Anu Aggarwal along with Rahul Roy, both of whom catapulted to overnight fame owing to immense success of the film. The second instalment released over two decades later, in 2013, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, yet again with music and the film, both enjoying a great run.

A Rich Man With Strange desires (Short Story)

A very rich man, named Ross Getvold. Very kind and the richest person in the town. He has achieved everything he wanted, his whole life has been and is very wonderful. Everyone respects him, but Ross is a busy man because he has many responsibilities. He enjoys everything because he has everything he needs. Due to working continuously for many days, he started feeling restless and bored. Ross decided to take her to her favorite place. And he decides to go on a trip to another city with his best friend.

And they go to their favorite city, they have a lot of fun but Ross remains sad, the friend Ross has gone with is named Jim. Jim asks Ross why are you upset, you have everything you wanted. Ross says, yes, but I have a strange wish. Which I am very sad about. Jim asks, what, can you tell me. Jim insisted a lot, but Ross did not tell anything. The next day they toured the whole city, the kind of life Ross is living is like a king. But still one of his desires is troubling him again and again. They go back to their town, when Jim once again asks Ross what his wish is. So Ross tells that thing to Jim, Jim is very laughs to hear Ross's words. Jim laughs and says, this is very strange,

I can't do anything. What can I do, no one can do anything. Ross says, yes I know but I am sad about this. After several days, Ross goes away from the city, and he sees a beautiful tree on the way, Ross stops the car and sits at a place in front of that tree,And after some time an old man comes to Ross, and sits with him, they become friends, and they talk about a lot of things.

The old man says that you are a very good person but why do you get sad again and again. Ross says I have a weird wish, but everyone I tell it to starts laughing, The old man says, you want to go back to the old days? Ross says, how did you know, the old man says, I am an experienced person. I understood from your words that you are remembering your childhood days. Ross says emotionally, I wish I could go back to those old days. I still remember that day Ross says, the best time of life was childhood, you left so much behind. The old man smiles and tells Ross to come with him. He takes him to a beautiful tree bearing many fruits. The old man says, look at this tree, it was also once small and very beautiful. But even today it is very beautiful, but today it can give fruits to the people. You can understand what I mean. A slight smile appears on Ross's face and he says yes. The old man says, let's assume that I will send you back to the old days. But I have a condition, whatever you have today, you will lose it all. Ross is shocked to hear this. The old man says do you understand what I want to say.

The old man says, think about all the knowledge you have today, all the friends and characters you have, all that was not there then, and it is obvious that if you could go back to those old days, all the things now you have. you Will lost. Ross listens to the old man and hugs him. Ross says, I understand everything. No, now I don't want to go back to the old days.The old man says, when you were coming here, you were coming just like that, you had no destination, you just wanted to roam around. Now think about how many paths and turns you had, but if you had taken even one any more turn, I would not be talking to you. Or maybe we never meet .

Coincidence is good and great part of life. Ross says you're right. I have understood everything and my problem has also gone away.

Ross asks him for his name, the old man's name is Arthur. Ross tells them his second wish.

Ross says I want to make a movie, Arthur says what kind of movie, Ross says I want to do something crazy but it has to be of some use to people.

Ross and Arthur go in the car and Ross is talking to Arthur. Ross says I have seen a lot of people unhappy, I don't understand why. I am a successful man and I too am unhappy sometimes, I know this Is part of life But I want to explain it to people.

Arthur says yes we can do something.

Both prepare a film in a few months. And they spend a lot of money, do a lot of advertising for that film, Arthur says Ross, you know we are going to do something very crazy.

Ross says, yes I know and this is what I want to do. Due to Ross's identity, he agrees to make the film.

And everyone goes to see this film.

Everything was shown well in that film. The film is good but there is no sadness or struggle or victory in it. People do not like the film. Because everything is simple in it.

When people ask Ross if there is nothing in this film. Then Ross says, I will answer this in a big conference.

And Ross says in the conference that we messed something up and I'm sorry for that. But we have corrected it, you can watch the second part of this film again.

And they launch the second part of the film, but less people go to see that film than before. But those who watch that film, like it very much. And when people find out that the film is very good. So many people watch that film.

And then one day Ross does a conference. Many people come to that conference. Ross speaks. I know you liked the second part, but we deliberately made the first part simple.

Ross says, I want to tell you one thing now, you know, why you didn't like the first movie, because there was no struggle in it, no sadness, no defeat. There was no problem.

This is life, if all this is not there then your life will also be boring and useless like that movie.

You all are intelligent, but you become restless due to your sorrows in life, whereas they have a different kind of fun. And this is what brings enthusiasm in life.

Hearing Ross' words, everyone claps loudly. And Ross's respect in the society increases even more.

Ross goes to Arthur. Arthur asks did you do what you wanted. Ross says yes I did, I don't care what people think about me. I wanted to explain something to them and I explained it through a film.

Arthur laughs and says, "Maybe you are a crazy man
