If Steve didn't want his co-workers to assume he was taking a vacation to 'reconnect' with his partner perhaps he shouldn't have looked at Danny like that and touched him in a way that indicated that this decision to take days off is directly related to him. Subtlety, thy name is not McDanno.

okay so thoughts about creation saying that tubbo never was alive. This has been making me go wild. I have so many thoughts about his character and what this may make his character. So in we go, my inane ramblings.( warning, this is Long long)
So first off, during Fit's birthday, after Tubbo had been bugged and Etoiles had said that there was going to be a lot of tweets about how his character could see ghosts now, Tubbo responded with "look man, I was dead a long time ago". So not only has creation told people that Tubbo has Been dead, Q!Tubbo is also aware of this fact. He knows he's not human, he knows hes not alive, he just doesnt really care. Which does kind of make me confused about all his suicidal tendancies but hey, maybe since he's already died at least once he doesn't really care anymore. It's all a joke to him. That's why he always plays it off as nothing serious because he knows, worst comes to worst, he'll be back one day. Or at least thats what he might think. It might also just be the desperation of 'Maybe this time it will work. Maybe this time I will actually die'. Maybe he's been dead for a long time actually. Maybe this is his first iteration or maybe it's his fiftieth.
so my main thought is that he Was alive. Not recently. not recently at all. But he was, once upon a time. There was a time in the far far past, or the far far future where his heart beat on its own and he had to breathe to keep living, to keep creating. Then something happened. Maybe he got into a tough spot and the feds found him and changed him. Maybe in his creation he changed himself. The main reason that I think he Was alive at some point is because of what he said at the party. that he "was dead a long time ago". He doesnt say somehting like 'I've always been dead' just that he Has been dead for A Long Time.
Im personally all for him having died, time and time again, not quite robot not quite human. His conciousness just inhabits a shell. That's why he still has all his limbs despite definetly getting hands caught in crushers before. Maybe that shell is mechanical. Maybe Its something else. Maybe it is like creation. Something he made, that he molded from metal and flesh and clay that is just... hollow. A puppet with cut strings when its not being inhabited. Maybe he got too attached to this shell, maybe thats why he needs to be brought back this time.
I do like the thought that he changed himself. somewhere along the line maybe he got sick, or maybe he just got curious. He started swapping parts out Just Because. He's not Totally a robot. He still looks human enough, just that some of his joints, his muscels, his organs, well, they're not quite organic anymore. He did this to himself. He needed to keep living, he needed to keep creating. He couldnt leave his Creations behind. He needed to continue to make more and to up keep the ones he had already made. He just... forgot to upkeep himself while he was at it.
I also fully believe that he Knew that he was going to die. It wasn't that he wanted the two lives left, its just that he Knew that his body was going to fail soon. He doesn't have create to upkeep this body (this shell) for much longer. It could only take so much damage before it started to give out. That's why he made the 'deal ' with chayanne. He needed the others to think there was a reason for this, that he had signed his life away for more excitement. He needed them to not question it when he didnt get back up. He needed there to be an easy answer to point at. That's why Chayanne said that he thought that it was a joke. He didn't think it was serious because the deal never Actually Happened. But it didnt matter. He was going to die either way.
So anyway, thats like, most of my current thoughts rn. Im So Excited for this :DDDD I want it to permanentally affect Everyone.

OKAY HI I'VE BEEN SHAMELESSLY SEARCHING THROUGH YOUR ACCOUNT DIGGING FOR ANSWERS I COULDNT FIND ANYWHERE ELSE (Ik I'm late asf but I hope you still answer questions related to wmmap seriously I'm desperate lmao) So I've read the entire novel and there wasn't any mention of their marriage (Lucas and Athy) 😭 IK THERE IS A BRIEF MENTION ABOUT "SOME" MARRIAGE In BOTB but all the translations I've read haven't specified who she decided marry at the end when she turned 26 💀 how is everyone so sure it was Lucas and did they decide whose gonna rule the empire in the end? I think from Hari's pov, it was yet to get decided later on, and a prince consort was chosen again, I wanted to clarify if it was really Lucas and I don't think there was any mention of her having kids except for in that one parallel dimension.
I mean, WMMAP and BOTB explicitly take place in the same world (they aren't parallel universes, there are no "what-ifs" or anything similar), Athy even meets Cabel and Hari (indirectly). Indeed, the marriage mention is in BOTB, not WMMAP, but it's pretty obvious the groom is Lucas, even if he isn't mentioned by name. Athy also isn't mentioned by name, Hari just says it's the wedding of "Obelia's princess". Considering the novel ends with Athy kissing Lucas, and that they keep dating during the side-stories, it would be very strange that she didn't marry him. As you say, LP! Lucas even sees their future daughter (granted, that could be a different world, but even so, he says that Athy is always with Lucas in all the worlds he visited except one).
I guess it's technically possible that the groom isn't Lucas, but considering that Athy was dating him and that she explicitly rejected Ijekiel, it's incredibly unlikely. What would be the other alternative, Athy marrying a random guy?
Regarding how they decided to rule the empire, there's no direct answer to that question, but Claude said that Athy would be the next empress and she knew that the day would come when she had to rule Obelia. BOTB's novel says that the prince consort (actually, there's no mention of the term "prince consort" as far as I remember, but I'll use it since that would be the title used for Athy's husband/husband-to-be) married into the royal family, not the other way around (naturally, since Athy is the powerful one of the two from a political standpoint), and that's about it. It isn't that the prince consort was going to be decided "later on" after the wedding, that's not how it works, Lucas (or whoever the mysterious guy is, but he is totally Lucas) most likely got that title after the wedding. I think it's safe to assume they rule together but Athy is the one with the most power and doing the most work (I can't see Lucas being very interested in ruling lol). This is the most logical explanation of post-canon's events, but the reference to Athy's wedding/future is pretty brief. Take a look at @lithi's translation.

Just going off the vibes I get alone I think tau should basically be portrayed as the British empire
While I get the gist of your notion what with the annexing and assimilating... no, I don't agree.
The signature thing the T'au do is put up a front of diplomatic inroads, usually trade or medical relief or general assistance and political interaction, and then use that as an avenue to introduce more and more of their forces and culture and ideals to a non-integrated populace/world whilst passively using all their ships and suits as a show of force. Even if that populace/world is difficult, provided that violence is kept to like... a controllable level, the T'au aren't inclined to explode into warfare.
Now, obviously, by today's standards, this is still very bad. We understand what they're doing is colonisation, but the key difference between the T'au and the British Empire is that T'au colonisation aims to be as bloodless as possible, and takes a vested interest in communicating with and learning about the people they're trying to assimilate, so as to show the doctrines of the Greater Good to them in a way that resonates more effectively.
The British Empire didn't give a single fuck about the ins and outs of cultural integration. The British Empire didn't invade new places with the intent to be as tactful as possible, or to induce amalgamation through politicking and implicit threat. The British Empire wanted to go to other places, take possession of all their shit, kill/torture anyone who disagreed, and then fill all the gaps created by these murders with upstanding white British people.
You know the bits of the Horus Heresy early on where the Imperium is "bringing order" to "savage"/"degenerate"/"heathen" worlds by giving them one opportunity to accept being part of the war machine, then siccing thousands of bloodthirsty soldiers on them if they refused, and then graciously accepting them into the Emperor's fold? That's the British Empire.

The rich and nobility of Faerûn have a reputation for being "eccentric" - it's just a common fact of life that they've got the freedom to be downright fucking weird and they're going to buy weird shit.
But did nobody look into it when the Szarr family decided to buy up a swathe of land outside the Cliff Gate and later build a graveyard?
Baldur's Gate has no room for graveyards: all space available is required by the living, so cremation has historically been the only funeral plan available. The patriars also cremate their dead and have private little family shrines with the urns, so it's fashionable. It is the done thing. The proper thing amongst the real nobility of the city.
And then suddenly these new money shut-ins desperately need to build a private graveyard. Yes it's very important that their corpses be buried. And that they be buried outside the city limits, where the government and laws hold no power. Stop asking questions, please.
And alright, that could be easily dismissed as "rich people nonsense".
Except that stories keep coming back about dead family members walking around the graveyard. Like "yep the district we built around this graveyard is haunted, and people keep going missing. Oh well!" And certain Szarrs have this tendency to be pale as fuck, are never seen in the daylight, and their house in the city is giving off major undead vibes. Like the negative energy plane vibes are kind of unmistakable. And the fact that it's situated over even older, ancient cursed tombs.
There is a prominent shrine to Lathander in the city. There is a temple not that far off. Even if Faerûn's typically "live and let live" attitudes do sometimes extend to the undead, your religion does involve undead hunting, what are you doing with your spare time??
Alright, so whichever Szarrs were vampires (of whom there have been at least two) probably had the money and connections - and magic and vampire mind control - to shut down investigations, but it's still a massive hint!
The Szarrs should just install an enchanted flashing sign that says "we're vampires!"

the thing about knightfall is. I've seen bruce-batman do shit that violent and that cruel to random perps before let alone the truly dangerous rogues. and not only in other media but ALSO in mainline comics (some mainline comics older than this even) so. I acknowledge jean paul-batman is presented as soooo much worse and sooooo unhinged immediately after putting on the cowl, even before he does anything really drastic, but also uh. it does require suspending my disbelief a little bit that everyone is SO SHOCKED about how UN-BRUCE-LIKE he's acting. I can do it! but part of me is like....... fam I'm not buying this.
