He was on cloud nine, walking without a care in the world, when suddenly a hand grabs him and pulls him in to a closet.

Harry blinks at the sudden darkness and reaches for the door. "I think you got the wrong person. I'll just leave."

"No, I didn't. I grabbed you on purpose, Harry."

"Well," Harry says slowly. "You're not Draco, and I do this sort of thing with anyone so..."

There's a silence for a moment. "What happened to Malfoy, huh? Why don't you call him Malfoy?"

"I don't think I want to have this conversation with you..."

"He's mine." The other person utters a spell and Harry falls to the floor, unconscious.

Draco scrunched the parchment up in his hands in anger, crushing it as much as he could before tossing it into the nearest torch and watching the pieces burn up with a small amount of satisfaction but it was quickly whipped away by the memory of what the words had said. A letter from his mother that had just turned his life upside down and he frowned darkly, turning and storming through the corridors, looking for any excuse to start an argument, rounding the corner and bumping into someone, which flared his anger even more when he saw who it was.

Work: Playing the Role Author: IWillBeYourPet Words:  31 549 Summary: Everyone always knew that Draco would be a veela, and as a Malfoy he  was certain to present as a dominant one.  Only, that didn't exactly  happen and Lucius is not happy to have his only son present as a  submissive Veela.

Lucius gives Draco a potion that will make him smell like a dominant, and tells Draco that he will just have to pretend.  

Draco  is almost certain that it won't work, it can change how he smells but  it doesn't change who is he, but he is willing to try if it makes his  father happy, no matter how unhappy it makes him.

And the whole  thing might have worked if Harry Potter didn't surprise everyone by  revealing that he was also a Veela, and of course, presented as a  Dominant.  

Draco doesn't know if he can manage to keep up the charade, and honestly, he isn't sure he wants to.
