hello! recently I've found someone who's selling brazilian G1 ponies. they already sold a few brazilian baby ponies (including a nbbe lofty) that were in very great condition. what caught my attention was the brazilian Waterfall Playset that they're selling—sprinkles' body is blue! just like the prototype. they're selling the box + playset + blue sprinkles. I've asked them if the pony has been customized to look like the prototype and they told me that it has not. according to them, blue sprinkles has been owned by their family for 40 years now and has always been blue. I'm still hesitant to believe this because I'm unsure if it's even possible for a (brazilian) prototype sprinkles to exist. is there a way to know? if I buy this pony, is there a way to check if its body has been painted? this person is also selling a brazilian blossom that has a far deeper purple body than other blossoms I've seen before (especially brazilian ones because most tend to not have their original blueish purple color). and they're all in great condition (both body and hair) for brazilian ponies.

The pony used for the US photoshoots would definitely not have been Brazilian, so although the pony might be "a" prototype, it wouldn't be "the" ur-prototype, if that makes sense. (The one pictured on the box / in brochures.) I'm not familiar with the Brazilian packaging, but you could look up the US packaging and then compare if they used the same picture versus if Estrela (the Brazilian company) took their own pics.

The only sure way to check if a pony is dyed, that I know of, is to cut into the plastic. With G1s, you can also sometimes tell because they can appear patchy; they tend to take dye less evenly than G3 ponies or HQG1C custom ponies. That said, Brazilian ponies feel smoother than US sold (China / Hong Kong) ponies so I'm not sure how they take dye.

I would be cautious because I vaguely remember reading a thread on one of the MLP message boards where people were suspicious about someone with lots of supposed prototypes. Whether those suspicions are founded or not, I have no idea. But the general observation was that all the 'prototypes' were darker / bolder shades than the "usual" Brazilian pony would be.

Like, if there was never a yellow Bow-Tie, and someone produces a yellow Bow Tie, you know the pony is unique because you can't dye a blue pony to yellow. But you can dye a blue pony purple, or darker blue, or maybe even a really dark red.

i want to preface by saying i actually don’t know a lot about it because as a beholder, i can’t really enter it. as a [human-bodied] beholder, i am literally unable to comprehend most of what even goes on in there, like how companions can struggle to be in our world because ours is hard to understand for them, and a lot of concepts such as gender and language often don’t have direct “translations.” when i view their innerworld/stasis, it’s very blurry, and feels almost like when you’re partially blinded in a dream or struggle to open your eyes fully.

this post might get lengthy, as i’ll be posting images (all of which will be described) but i’m putting it under the cut so it doesnt clutter yalls dashes

1. map

the farm

the farm is obviously Ryder’s area. there is a huge area for him to hang around in, a food garden, a big red barn, and an apple orchard. there may be a house also, but i’m unsure of that so i didn’t include it. Ryder is generally alone here. this area feels like summer time. it’s very hot here and there’s lots of bugs (mainly pollinators.) it sounds like cicadas and wind in leaves. it smells like fruits being eaten by bugs and soft flowers. Ryder’s is the most “realistic” area, and also the most serene

mcdonalds

mcdonalds is well-known to be slush’s area! it’s hard to describe, but it is quite literally a tiny mcdonalds. it feels like the mcdonald’s is scaled to slush, meaning a 5-foot-something human-body wouldn’t fit inside. even as a dog-body, its hard to fit/see inside. there’s a patio out front, and the store layout is generally similar to the mcdonald’s closest to our House IRL. there’s seating on the patio and inside. the kitchen is small, and all of the kitchen appliances are toys.

slush loves these videos, so his mcdonalds is heavily inspired by konapun sets like this. he describes this as not working at mcdonalds, but playing there. he uses toys instead of real appliances so the food doesnt “hurt” (burn.) his mcdonalds smells like mcdonalds, and it feels like joy. customers pay in gratitude. it sounds like bubbles in a deep fryer and “dings” from the opening/closing front door, and faint chatter. it feels like extra-cold air conditioner. it doesn’t feel stressed or crowded.

sugarloaf’s bakery

this is obviously the newest addition into their stasis, only popping up within the last few days. being as Sugarloaf’s in-stasis personality isnt fully formed, i can’t really see inside. all i know is that it’s like a polly pocket playset, which opens up

being as i dont actually have Sugarloaf in my possession and, again, it’s personhood is only partially formed, the bakery is closed and (usually) empty. periodically through the day i’ve felt/seen glances of Sugarloaf inside setting things up or baking. it smells like a sweets bakery, and has “road trip with a friend and spontaneously stopping in a small-town’s bakery and eating the most delicious sweets of your life” vibes.

2. appearances

slush

slush looks the same as he does to us, as a plush. he used to look/feel more like a bio-dog, but since he’s learned to cope with being a plush here, he appears as Himself but in a little mcdonalds uniform.

Slush uses projected pronouns - whatever YOU feel like fits him best (or makes you more comfortable around him,) use them. 

Ryder

Ryder appears as a bio-horse, with the same fur pattern as he has out-of-stasis.

Sugarloaf

for the billionth time i’ll remind that Sugarloaf isn’t fully formed and i have only “seen” it a few times. this could be because i’ve never seen Sugarloaf IRL before, but Sugarloaf is actually a cartoon version of itself, but with paws. below is a drawing i did which is VERY close to how Sugarloaf actually looks in-stasis right now. i imagine this may change when i actually receive Sugarloaf and is a temporary “form”

so first off we have my toy bonnie and baby snaps i got these a while ago at target when the snaps first came out and ive had them in my kitchen lol i think that toy bonnie and baby together in a werid pack lol especially when thares no other toy or funtime animatronics !!! i hope more are coming soon !!! but honestly these two have a very poor design :( baby cant lift her mic up because of her shoulder pads or else her head pops off and toy bonnie cant hold his guitar properly :/

it comes with two tables that have the snaps on them so u can attach the character's heads on them !!! it also comes with an endo head which dose not attach to the table !!! and it comes with a box full of wires and a freddy hat !!!

heres what the room looks like a little more decorated !!! the endo heads on the wall have the face snaps on them so u can put ur extra faces on them !!! so smart !!!! i love that i have a spot for them now !!! the room is a tad narrow but super long which is a odd choice lol u can really only add two figures in without it looking super crowed !!

Checked out the new update last night and opened a couple packs so reporting here for that:

First UR pack for the anniversary was a dud, but at least it's a pretty dud.

Getting Poplar, Diabellstar, and Original Sin in the first tenner was fantastic, and the playset of Ash definitely helps, but no WANTED at all bites. I had enough UR dust lying around to just craft the WANTED playset and a Flamberge to round out the set.
