It’s gonna be a slow last day at work but I’m thinking abt Duke & Leslie & so many others so much now like

Elaine also being a social worker revealed after WAR could lend itself to the reason why Leslie becomes involved in Dukes case. The Thomas family being used to recreate the Wayne murder, how so much of Duke’s story is history being forced to repeat, but not accepting that repetition. The ties he has with Alfred thru WAR before Bruce even takes him in, the distrust that should’ve been built bc of Dick during Robin War!!! Hell I NEVER see anyone talk abt his team-up with Helena like ever and I get it, it’s a one-off issue & fandom hates doesn’t care about both characters of color & women but like 😭😭😭

I haven’t had the time or energy this year to talk abt all of the team ups/parallels that I see & love btwn duke & other characters, but esp with my holiday break looming on the horizon I rlly wanna start getting into that. Duke my specialist littol guy 💛💛💛

Well y’all after blood sweat and way too many tears, I’ve finally been moved into my new place 😭 🎉

It’ll be a bit before I can show pics of my comics displays, esp bc I’ll be sorting thru a lot of stuff & likely will rearrange it ten thousand times too

But on a nice note, my mom was rlly careful with my comics that I have framed and she actually sounded rlly excited to help me find good ways to display them and I’m 🥹🥹🥹

Hopefully will have some more framed eventually too, but ahhh one thing at a time

Chance Encounters of the Demonic Kind - the Origin Story™️ of how things went immediately after Constantine accidentally summoned Raven & how he and Zatanna ended up taking her in. There’s a few things about this fic that I want to edit & expand on (& ultimately conclude ofc)! But know that it will largely remain intact (at least I’m hoping so).

Arkham Exorcism - a tale of Ravens first Official™️ mission with John & Zee’s turmoil as a backdrop. Oh also the asylum, the ghosts &/or demon that may or may not haunt it, and a couple of cameos from some of our favorite rogues, can’t forget about that. A rlly self-indulgent fic bc I loved (& still do love) the Arkham games & wanted to give two sides of dc a love letter in the form of fic. Similar sitch where I’ve been editing some of the previously published chapters over the years and will be reworking just a bit of it. God it’s really been awhile since I touched it publicly tho akdjksj

Little Miss Moonbeam - Harley & Ivy kind of, sort of, accidentally? maybe not so accidentally kidnap Raven for a road-trip back to Gotham. Naturally, Zatanna is not happy with this, especially give where she & Raven had left things off. This one actually probably has more snippets here on tumblr that it has on ao3, but those pieces are flashes of inspo from prompts. I have the general plot laid out and some scenes here n there in a skeleton form. But this is another one that I’ll be editing just a tad and building up a whole heck of a lot from.

Tbh all three of these are near and dear to my heart, which is probably another reason why I’ve been so paralyzed by indecision on which one to focus on. Hence why im leaving it up to y’all! Thank you everyone who voted in the last poll and thanks in advance to everyone participating now 🙏

Night Forge - College Setting, no powers, the Night Force play DnD :)

Rook!Steph - me n Tee fucked around with the timeline a bit and now Helena n Renee have adopted Steph & are bringing her up as a vigilante 👏

Sirens Derby - exactly what it implies, no powers/capes, Sirens vs Birds roller derby

Zombie Robins - I’m working mostly off of iZombie science here, some of our Robins only return if they have a hunger for brains as well (main focuses are Steph, Jason n Damian for obvious reasons)
