Also, me: Fuuko's Unluck evolved past just physical misfortune as shown by manifesting the orb to capture Victor. The reason why she was able to close the book by kissing Book Andy is because to him, the pain of parting with her forever was the biggest misfortune he could imagine. Although to him, he's able to achieve "death" in a sense that OG Andy's been waiting for, for so long it's not what he deeply wished for. He's spent 10 years with her breaking his narrow views on death and opening his heart, then 144 years waiting to meet her again. He doesn't have the nihilism waiting for death OG Andy does when they meet in Japan and instead is powered by his love and longing for her. That's why to him, the finality of ending his existence to merge with the him outside is suffering instead of release. Because the him as he is now will never get to be with her and he's come to terms with that as much as it pains him. As much as he loves her, he knows he isn't real and all he can do is entrust his will, memories, and feelings to his original. Thus he sends her off with a smile because he wants her to be happy with the him outside and wants him to love her enough for the both of them.

Undead Unluck week Day 7: Song/Quote/Poem you associate with Undead Unluck

This will bring a meteor storm!! As I said, the last day Is pretty self indulgent. The song i associate with Undead Unluck Is "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue öyster cult! And even if there's literal Death, in this case, Fuuko Is the Reaper. Fun fact, I also associate this song with Aoi Sakamoto from Sakamoto days, for some reasons. The doodles are also inspired by famous kisses!
