OOH favourite food to make hmm. fried rice of any kind. SO easy, so tasty and u can really go wild with what you put in it. ooh and EGGS ALL WAYS. diner omelettes, french omelettes, scrambled eggs w cheese, akuri, kejriwal, sunny side up (FAVE esp with a little soy sauce), poached eggs, shakshouka...SO MANY MORE EGG DISHES TO DISCOVER AND ENJOY

foods i love but have never made are roomali roti and hyderabadi biryani. also shawarma. definitely dishes/items that take time, effort, practice, as well as specific tools n utensils to make. i do eventually want to try my hand at them and i think i would feel IMMENSE satisfaction upon twirling my first roomali roti without any tears.

#covid tw #like… to clarify I have a lot of issues with what I can and can’t eat #greasy food and deep fried food are very high on that list of things I can’t digest well #and I get stomach acids and pain and blah blah blah #but anyway I thought I’d been doing okay for a while so itd be okay to try a hamburger again after fiveish years of not eating any #it was slightly too hot and I burnt myself but didn’t think of that until later #and at like 5am I wake up with this mouth sore feeling and when I drink (not when I eat anything) #I got a really strange dishwater like aftertaste #which I was convinced was covid and I looked them up and burn sores in your mouth is something that some people experience #I felt physically fine but uhhh I was convinced but tried to fall asleep again #after like 2 hours and at 9am I wake up and the mouth sores are almost gone and the weird aftertaste is completely gone #(ate a sandwich at 5 which is how I discovered this weird taste…I do that sometimes bc my stomach can’t be empty for too long) #but anyway did the test now and it’s negative thank god #bc I’m going to Stockholm tomorrow and that’s where my friend is leaving from and all of our bookings are in my name + she’s never been #there so…that would be chaos
