1. Couple people, let’s go earliest to latest. Excluding Sam bc y’all know I’ve waxed poetic abt that.

- John, obvi: by best I mean tickling to my angst brain center, not best for Dean bc what a mess! I do think John would make Dean get an abortion and tbh I think Dean would know it’s the best choice for him even if a part of him fantasizes about keeping it. He’s kind of in love with his dad and I think he romanticizes their relationship a bit. If Sam knows he’s pregnant, Dean definitely lies and says it was a one night stand.

- Cassie! I love deancassie, and I think either a T4T or a/b/o scenario would be fun here. This would be the “Dean almost quits hunting” scenario. It’s interesting; the series presents Sam as the “I want to leave this life” one (and he did want to, at one point!) and Dean as the “this is my life forever” one, but as the series goes on, we see that in actuality it’s the opposite. DEAN is the one who wants the apple pie life, which is why he always gets on Sam about it. Case in point: Bad Boys. Anyway, if Cassie knocked Dean up, he might take it as a sign to leave the life. That said, when Daddy calls… at 22, he’s still much of an obedient soldier.

- Benny: come on now, this is the PERFECT purgatory-pregnancy scenario. Shame it’s 8 months he’s in there (iirc) because I’d love for him to come out with a little bebe. How cute!!!! And startling, for Sam!! As it is, popping out like 7 months pregnant is fun, so I’ll take it.

- Cain: fuck a mark, GIVE HIM A BABY!!!!! Again, this is best for my brain and not for Dean. Hehe

2. Depends who — if a one night stand, or somebody Sam likes and/or respects, then yes, I think he would. That jealousy might even spur them into a sexual relationship if they aren’t there yet. If not…well, I could see Dean either nipping it in the bud without telling him, or running away. That doesn’t last long, obviously. Divorce arcs for them barely last half-a-season. Sam catches up. Mess ensues, etc.

and 3 neutral ships: this the hard one cause I'm neutral for most of the ships it's hard to pick 3 hmmm

32. do characters influence your writing style?

i’m honestly not sure what this means but i will say that for anything i write, i write it because there is something about a character that i want to get across to the reader. all my stories are character driven. i don’t tend to change my writing style around too much (i always write in third person present tense, i guess i am most comfortable with that) but i tend to look at my writing as a persuasive argument towards whatever characterization i have chosen. the success of these arguments varies, but it’s worth it to me to try anyway.

73. how do you visualize scenes? do you see it like a movie in your head, or do the words just flow?

i usually write dialogue first. all of my stories start out looking like screenplays with dialogue and vague “character does this” set direction type notes. for that part i visualize it like a movie playing in my head and write down whatever the characters are saying. later on i fill the rest of it in. sometimes the words flow, sometimes they really Really don’t lol

Favorite legendary (æsthetically or collection wise)? 😄✨

OoH! there's a lot of legys i like, but my favourite is without a doubt astralaria!

I liked the collection a lot but the aesthetic definitely wins this one!

I'm a sucker for gold/blue palettes, I think they're so pretty, and I've also been a huge fan of spacey and celestial aesthetics (so a lot of my other fave skins are things with moons or stuff on)

I love the draw effects with the yellow burst, and the footfalls and trail and projectiles aaa!! I love this axe so so much.

I have a character for almost every class that can use astralaria! I know it's a lot of the same colours and aesthetics, but I really love working with them and figuring out what I can pair with the weapon, one of my fave things is how lovely the stardust jackal skin looks with it when you dye it blue and gold:

also okay. I know this wasn't the question, but I can't resist an obligatory demonstration of the astralaria-using gang!! so that's down there V

Alaethau, my first astralaria user:

He's a priory researcher and astronomer! Also in game, he's a druid and his pets are named after constellations (Lacerta for his eletric wyvern because lizard and Eridanus for his aqua stalker because river)

I'm generally more of an armor combo fan over outfits, but I love him in this sm it fits him so well (he is literally an astral scholar aha..) and the shoulder in yellow looks like the draw effect to me!

Cyhydla:

She is Alaethau's sort of daughter ?? (when you resuscitate a sylvari from a pod that's been blown away from the pale tree and disconnected from the dream with your husband, I guess you're probably adopting them)

She's a mirage which is wonderful for the projectiles! the axes are just flying everywhere!!

Astronomer Iddrin:

She's another priory astronomer, one of Alaethau's colleagues! Her sister, Magister Keelu is intended to use meteorlogicus to match her but I haven't finished it yet! Ooops!

she isn't 80 yet, so doesn't have her armour combo! (while not dyed right because armour preview dyes never are, it's something like this:

(ignore the fact she is mid-blink and looking so goofy) and she's planned to be a spellbreaker!

Avordelle:

She is my problematic girl from a different tree (where I'm theming them all with more celestial sort of aesthetics, because I like doing that) who is causing lots of trouble, at said tree! She's a firebrand!

Lastly, Réaltléas!

She's a whispers agent and navigator who uses the stars to navigate. She's a bit less developed than the rest, but I like her <3 She's not level 80 yet either, and this is her intended armour combo, which I love and think is adorable:

She's intended to be a scourge at 80!

because sometimes there are invisible tests and invisible rules and you're just supposed to ... know the rule. someone you thought of as a friend asks you for book recommendations, so you give her a list of like 30 books, each with a brief blurb and why you like it. later, you find out she screenshotted the list and send it out to a group chat with the note: what an absolute freak can you believe this. you saw the responses: emojis where people are rolling over laughing. too much and obsessive and actually kind of creepy in the comments. you thought you'd been doing the right thing. she'd asked, right? an invisible rule: this is what happens when you get too excited.

you aren't supposed to laugh at your own jokes, so you don't, but then you're too serious. you're not supposed to be too loud, but then people say you're too quiet. you aren't supposed to get passionate about things, but then you're shy, boring. you aren't supposed to talk too much, but then people are mad when you're not good at replying.

you fold yourself into a prettier paper crane. since you never know what is "selfish" and what is "charity," you give yourself over, fully. you'd rather be empty and over-generous - you'd rather eat your own boundaries than have even one person believe that you're mean. since you don't know what the thing is that will make them hate you, you simply scrub yourself clean of any form of roughness. if you are perfect and smiling and funny, they can love you. if you are always there for them and never admit what's happening and never mention your past and never make them uncomfortable - you can make up for it. you can earn it.

don't fuck up. they're all testing you, always. they're tolerating you. whatever secret club happened, over a summer somewhere - during some activity you didn't get to attend - everyone else just... figured it out. like they got some kind of award or examination that allowed them to know how-to-be-normal. how to fit. and for the rest of your life, you've been playing catch-up. you've been trying to prove that - haha! you get it! that the joke they're telling, the people they are, the manual they got- yeah, you've totally read it.

if you can just divide yourself in two - the lovable one, and the one that is you - you can do this. you can walk the line. they can laugh and accept you. if you are always-balanced, never burdensome, a delight to have in class, champagne and glittering and never gawky or florescent or god-forbid cringe: you can get away with it.

you stare at your therapist, whom you can make jokes with, and who laughs at your jokes, because you are so fucking good at people-pleasing. you smile at her, and she asks you how you're doing, and you automatically say i'm good, thanks, how are you? while the answer swims somewhere in your little lizard brain:

how long have you been doing this now? mastering the art of your body and mind like you're piloting a puppet. has it worked? what do you mean that all you feel is... just exhausted. pick yourself up, the tightrope has no net. after all, you're cheating, somehow, but nobody seems to know you actually flunked the test. it's working!

Do you... ever crave the live you once knew? Mortal, frail perhaps, but living every day to the fullest because of it? Or have you grown accustomed to the power that your limitless mind has granted you, beyond the reach of time and capable of pursuing all that you desire... at the cost of your humanity?

“A question I have often asked myself,” the illithid replies, voice gentle yet honest. The words sound sombre, perhaps even wistful, but those burning pink eyes do not reflect a single fleck of remorseful starlight. It has made peace with its decision, it would seem. From the outside, at least.

But it ponders the question a moment, eyes trailing off towards the Astral. “I find the implication in your words interesting — this idea that only mortals, only non-illithid, can live their lives to the fullest. That an expanded mind is a shackle, tethering one such as myself to something less meaningful. Is this what you believe? Ah… it is not an uncommon thought, that we illithid lead somehow less fulfilling lives. It is a belief that once frightened me, before my complete transformation. But one that I look back upon with humour.

“I was once an adventurer. I once had an endless world stretching before me, just waiting to be explored. But despite the romance of it all, I was… unhappy because of it. Naive, and covetous, I was never satisfied, and always sought more. It was a drive that surely would have ended me — and, indeed, did end the one known as Balduran.

“But with an expanded mind came an expanded understanding. I still covet. I am still envious. But it does not pain me as it once did. If anything, my drive has purpose now — purpose it never did before. I am… happier. I am more alive than I ever was before.”

But that twinge of sombre wistfulness is still there. Perhaps it is not being as honest as it thinks it is. Or perhaps it is hiding something, and knows that fact full well. But regardless, it seems that its mind has been made — and was made long ago. There is no point in questioning it now.

Is there?

“No, I do not miss it,” it finally answers with faith, a slow nod accompanying the words. “I look back on those days with an aching fondness, but they — and all the feelings, all the foolish intrepidness that came with them — are best left in the past.”

Uuhh it depends I'm weird about being touched. I'm really good at hugs, at least that's what people keep telling me. Hand holding is cute and fun also, and really good for nonverbal communication. But also most times if I am touched I want to. Explode. Even though I want to be able to touch more
